A friend gave me this book, and I'm loving it. I have a suggestion about how to read it. I savor one chapter at the beginning of each evening, right after I light the fire. Then I pick up the other book I'm into. Those nuggets are so delectable that just plowing through the book would be like wolfing down a box of fine chocolates.

This is my first time seeing Jeff Tweedy and I really like him. He's intelligent, fast and funny. Now with that being said, my reason for posting this comment is to see if anyone else agrees that it looks like he just came from working a shift at Pep Boys before coming on the show?😅
That's just kind of the way he dresses - he's an Indie guy.
He always has looked like that as far as I know, his son used to be friends with my brother and he dressed exactly the same 17 years ago. He’s very down to earth and humble. He’s not guided by vanity and ego, despite his success, as so many others are.
He really dressed up!

I love the tweedy show.i still watch episodes on RUclips here..found so many cool bands and songs from the covers he does.and I almost like all the wilco songs stripped down the way he does them on there better..

Over the last 9 months I had an interesting "relationship" with a guy at the gym. We only spoke one time when I apologized for staring at him so much (I had an unexplainable connection/compulsion with him) but I kept on staring and we would often work out near each other.. I think he liked but was puzzled by, the attention. I sold my home and moved away, which was already planned - but heartbreaking. The Wilco song "Meant To Be" was a "theme song" and changed over that time. I have an entire list of songs from the gym & local public radio that perfectly represented during and the end that tells the whole story. Maybe I'll write a book....😆

It seems forced to me, trying to be more "authentic" by dressing down. I mean, the hat, hair and beard are just ugly. But his music is great, and I don't look at him much.
Surprised they didn't bring up his role in Seth Meyers' Family Trips podcast. At the end of the podcasts, Tweedy plays an original song based on each guest's family trip. Hilarious

That’s funny. Tweedy is just an Illinoisan, Chicago guy. We only put on the dog when it’s actually for the dogs. It’s cold here, so likely Jeff flew in to do the show on a weather delayed flight. Wisconsinites have dress cargo shorts for weddings. 🤣
