Forgive my ignorance, but tell me if I'm right on what exactly the Flowerfell AU is: Underfell with the added twist that every time Frisk dies a new flower grows on them and it eventually kills them permanently in a long and depressing story where Frisk and Sans bond and Frisk ends up sacrificing their soul to free the monsters.
I'm writing a Flowerfell fic and this inspired me so much, here's a snippet as a small token of my gratitude: I'm sure you've heard the story, or red riding hood and the wolf. But what happens when the wolf falls in love with the innocence of her brown locks, the way she skips down the path with the golden flowers growing over her hands and wears them like a crown, this is that story. Long ago, in a world not so far away from ours, a young girl fell into the depths of the darkness of the caverns. "W-Where am I?" She asked, small hands tracing over the golden flowers that had shielded her from death's icy hand, she wondered if she was dreaming or maybe if this was the afterlife but neither seemed fitting for the winding caves her eyes traced until she could see nothing but darkness. She got up from the bed of golden flowers and wandered through the caves aimlessly until she saw something glint in the darkness. "What's that?" Frisk asked herself, it was near her the top of her shoe's hight, it looked like a long clear string that stretched across the cave's floor, Frisk decided against touching it and stepped over the string. After avoiding various traps she came to a small home, it looked very unkempt almost to the degree it looked abandoned, yet the thick smell of pie mixed with a stronger scent of death around the home. "Maybe I can ask how to get back?" Frisk asked, she really needed to stop talking to herself, a small growl was heard along with a twig's snapping, this startled Frisk enough for them to land flat on their back. "G-Go away T-Toriel, I'll hurt-" The voice was cut off when they found a girl, lying on the ground, the flower's torn petals shook slightly from the draft. "You..." The flower trailed off, Frisk backed up until she hit the wall of the cave, a talking flower? She was definitely going crazy. "H-Hey, don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you." The flower said, Frisk whimpered slightly in fear, how could she know the flower was telling the truth. "W-Well, I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower. You're not from here are you?" Flowey asked, his once menacing tone much softer. "Frisk..." The girl mumbled, the flower cocked an eyebrow. "I'm F-Frisk." She stuttered, the flower nodded as if he was about to say something when a figure appeared. "Ah, there you are you little weed." The voice said, Flowey's eyes widened with shock and fear. "Quick, get out of here!" Flowey whispered urgently, a goat monster with blood red eyes turned the corner. "Oh? Well, well, well, what have we here? The last soul we need to break the barrier, stay still and this will be easier for both of us." The goat monster Frisk assumed to be Toriel said. "RUN!" Flow shouted, several pellets hitting the goat monster to distract her, but as a fire ball lunged in her direction Frisk felt their leg hit by an unpleasant fire, Frisk screamed in agony, the sound bounced off the walls. "I said, STAY. STILL!" Toriel yelled, both sounds colliding in the echo as Frisk tried to stand but their legs refused, two more burning sensations over their back as they felt themselves give in. | RESET | "Oh? Well, well, well, what have we here? The last soul we need to break the barrier, stay still and this will be easier for both of us." Toriel said, wait, this had happened before. Frisk was able to dodge the attack this time but was nailed down by several other attacks, she noted a small flower on her hand. | RESET | Another flower appearing on her arm, the same burning pain encasing her body as her screams echoed off the walls. | RESET | They made it away from Toriel but a tripwire triggered deadly spikes rising from the floor, red being the last thing she could see. | RESET | Another flower | RESET | | RESET | R E S E T . . .
I really like it! If you don't mind some comments, I'd just double check on some of the sentences because there were a few that were run-ons. Also, maybe choose a different word than "unpleasant" for the fire? It just seems too flat of a word for the sheer agony of being burned by fire, y'know? Otherwise, I adore your imagery and writing style! (Also, post the link here when you post it! I'd love to read it!)

Flowerfell is such a wonderfull AU, my favourite one too. Such a romantic, yet sad and depressing story, which did not stay for long. Sans, even if he is a monster, his heart is so pure when Frisk comes around. Falling in love is such a good feeling ❤

Whoever the artist was for the background, the fact that they made Frisk's mouth bleed adds to the sadness and pain of this AU...It's almost like they're dying right there...
