Luke Byrne because some people aren’t stupid to paid 70$ for a stupid tank in a video game. I can understand the way to support devs, but the devs have gos crazy with pay2win in the last 3 years. Remember the is-6that you bought 7 years ago. Is it logical to play this tank in the current meta. Not really. So yeah, I have 1 or 2 premium tank, but they are outdated and I’m not willing to pay an other tank that will be outdated in 2 years. In contrary, I’m willing to pay for premium membership. But if I can’t play my regular tank, what the point of paying the premium membership?

Strange, I often take light tanks just to fight against that wheelies. Usually come out on top. Perhaps that’s because many of the players who drive the wheelies are not the caliber of quickiebaby, but regular people who don’t know how to drive them as well.

They've balanced wheeled tanks to be inferior to light tanks tho... they have worse view range, camo etc, they only excel in speed, for arty hunting
Kane BurgerZz and turning radius... and acceleration...and HE pen.... and maneuverability is the single most important asset of lights. Making ebrs the best lights in the game no contest.
I wish Frontline was open all the time, I find it a refreshing change to random battles
Shows just how wheels have ruined FrontLine, don't bother with it any more.
Ruined every kind of wot gameplay in general even more. Game was really obnoxious already with artys, HUGE RNG, gold ammo, 0 balance between all kind of tanks, Op prems, unbalanced mm, etc.
With the wheelies, things just got even worse for this game. I still can have fun with it and enjoy, but the game is so fcked up at this point is unreal. Idk if WG will ever realize it and change for the better, but don't really think so.

Frontlines has gotten really stale and boring. The same one map being 70% overrun by progettos, lt432's and wheelies...
i need more maps that's for sure but i play only for making credits and i made around 300k to 500k per battle of course with prem time and sometimes boosters
Idd, haven't played the last 1 or 2 Frontline, thought I would be able to grind it all to get the reward tanks, but goddamn I really don't feel for it xD

@@pwnnr13 I got bored of it at Rank 7, I'm kind of lazy to get myself inside this game mode again to get the Phase 1, I guess I Will go for the Emil 1951, much better grinding and a good vehicle to use in Stronholds and Clan Wars, because the tier 9 can be used ONLY in random battles and it's not a premium tank but an elite tank like the T55.

I just started getting into WOT, and have watched many of your videos; very well done BTW. I play on the NA server, and I immediately noticed a huge difference in my game play compared to yours. Evidently, at least in the NA server, I haven't had a game yet (over 500 played) where massive cheating occurs. You can tell almost everyone, at least starting in Tier IV and up is using aimbots (and I'm sure other mods), as so many players are constantly tracking and shooting at targets located on the other side of a mountain. I asked about this in game chat and was told by many that "it's just the way it is, get used to it and find/buy my own cheats so I can be competitive.". I also noticed that every single hit I take is penetrating/damaging, not 1 single ricochet, and I've been working on armor angling and all that. Even with the constant gold ammo spam, if I'm hit twice from anywhere in the map even while "ducking and dodging" it's instant kill. Suspicious at least since I'm familiar with the game mechanics. I saw one of your videos made a while back (when I first started) where you discussed cheating, and it's something you said you rarely see. I find it hard to believe that it would be prevalent in American servers but not in European servers, so (anyone) is there something I'm missing or is this just the way it is? BTW in downloaded and installed a free aimbot just for proof of concept, and it worked. Just a few files placed in the res_mods directory . I removed it of course. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and GREAT channel QuickyBaby!

Wheeled vehicles really need to be nerfed hard, they are totally ruining the fun of the game with their gocart like moves. Also turrets on many vehicles move way too quickly

They are fun, driving and causing chaos for others, but being on the receiving side sucks royally! I have to get in my 432 to chase them down, out of frustration!

Actually sad that people actually hate when he plays that tank, ofcourse he will, why wouldn't he, the days when the tanks you mentioned were good are over and why would u suffer with them? Get on with the state of the game and how it's changing. You know QB is always looking for the win and good results why would he sabotage himself.
@@Vlix223 I cant understand why WG is using this System to finance themselves.. why cant they do it like League of Legends and finance themselves by visuals like Garage designs or nice Tank skins. It worked for League so why not here.
Its probably to late by now to change anyways bec they have now a "special" paying community that doesnt care about all that visual stuff. For them its all about fast grind and good stats.
Free to play Games just dont get that its actually the f2p player base that helps them grow and increases profit in the long term.
Instead they are going for the short term profit and are trying to force new players into buying their way into domination.
I wouldve bought myself a skin or two like in LOL but im unwilling to spent money on a p2w game.
And the people who are buying these prem. tanks must be braindead, no matter how good the stats are in 6 months there will be another op prem. tank with even better stats and ur 40 dollar tank will become more worthless with every month that passes by. Its a race into infinity.

These EBR's are so bad for the game... They need to nerf something about them. They're purely better then pretty much every light tank atm. Especially better then the other french light - better move speed, reload speed, aim speed, I would say also better gun (especially with these HE shells.. which is redicilous for a light tank.. even arties (HE class) dont have 105 HE pen. or even most TD's don't have this.. but nope.. also lets not forget the auto-aim .. this tank ALSO have better cammo level then the 13 90 /or tier 10/ ,not sure about the spotting range. P.S. No wonder why this is pretty much a tank that everyone plays and u can see in EVERY battle.
It's honestly the HE Shells combined with the reload of the tank, I mean they can pen you frontally with HE and if you try to counter with HE you'll get 5 dmg because you hit the wheel.

Nerf the damn wheels and make them easier to track. I dont mind the op Armor they give them, if they could be tracked easier it would be balanced.

@@aaronvenn8660 950 is to much? I know that most other t8 light tanks that have a higher amount of hp. (On average 1000-1150 hp for the average light tank)

Exactly what i feel, which is exactly why I dont grind for the "big prizes". I go frontlines for one thing: credits. If I get other shit along the way then yay for me but it is most definitely not priority. I'm no unicum or even a clan player and get regular Captain/Major ranks. Only got General a few times. This is perfectly fine for the credit goals I aim for to allow things I want/need between Frontline episodes.

Congrats on the fantastic game qb. It was fun to watch you dominate everyone but the one thing I got out of this video is that unless you spend real money on the game to get premium tanks or own every tank in the game you wont ever get to prestige all the way do to not getting general every game. Now I'm not the greatest player in the game but I'm also free to play and have tanks that are not the greatest in frontlines (ie. tiger 2, panther 2, Ferdinand, gw tiger p, is-3, t-44, isu-152). In before people reply saying if I were a better player then I could get general all the time, which is true but the fact that based off of what tanks were used or talked about in the video aka premiums or lynx, amx 50 100, emil 1 are just better because of the mobility they have or shells per clip in autoloaders. Basically what I'm getting at is that since I didn't choose the "correct" tanks to grind for frontlines I get punished because I'm a slow tank or don't have ways to secure kills after shooting someone and is twice as hard for me to prestige because my tanks are outclassed by people that can just spend money on the game... Again I acknowledge that if you are good then any tank can get you general but my point is that me and a bunch of other free to play players have a tougher time trying to prestige due to being in less superior tanks for example say its me and someone else on a flank in a panther2 and t-44 vs a progetto and lorr. 40t. Who wins that fight??? 90% of the time the progetto and lorr win because they can just unload their clips on one target and kill them super quick then it becomes a 2v1 and even if the lorr has to reload the panther2 nor t-44 wants to trade with a progetto. I understand that WG makes the rewards hard to get so it feels like a reward when you get them and to earn money from people that are lazy but for the people that are willing to spend time to get the rewards but are outclassed because of the tanks I have are not good enough for the game mode.

This is super helpful as I just got the prog and the Pantera. I already have the ebr and Lorraine. So I'm hoping now I can dominate even more.
It's easier to rank up when you are attacking, but thanks for the video QB, I have a better idea of what I need to change for a defensive role.
Starting with a VK100.01P or defender is also a good stratagy, as those vehicles are super strong and everything at the start is close quarters so speed is not really an issue

When you reload in the repair zone, your ammo costs is 0.
Also, to be honest, I would rather play at T6 or T7. T6 would make autoloaders and clown cars a memory and you'd have awesome options like the KV2.

Can't wait for Frontline every month! I did get the Pantera for episode 5 but I just don't seem to be good at it, I prefer the T-44, and I have two of those. The IS-3 is what I enjoy doing high damage in, should have an arty and the ISU-152 for next episode. I love the mode but I need to learn how to rank up faster, I either rank up well at the start then slow down at the later stages or don't rank up at the beginning and go fast by the end. I only got general once.
I absolutely loved watching this. Especially around 26:00.

@@thefire3319 I saw a poll in wot forum about if wheelies should get deleted. The majority of people which voted for deleted were 30+ y/o. That means that they are just to stupid to aim
@@phipschi4255 these tanks are just to broken in this gamemode (imo in all gamemodes), also it isn't so much about hitting them. you hit them most of the time, but its hilarious how often the wheels absorbing the damage. if they would reduce the spaced armor on the wheels, way less people would complain :)
@@Skrabob yes, it is the only problem about wheeled vehicles. People dont' understand that they are balanced (exept for the wheels absorbing damage. For 1 simple reason, they have 1 very weak armor and low hp.

Because of game crashes that happens in FL alot (sometimes I get like 5-10 in single battle) I was forced to play arty and its heavily dependent on teammates and you dont have so much impact on games. Sure, I was getting good ranks fairly often but almost none credits. This month I bought Progetto and when I swapping to it at the end of the game (risking crash in the middle of the fight) I grind ranks so easily that most of the time I have major/general. I must say its by far the best tank for this mode. I have Lorraine too but its aim time and overall gun handling feels so bad.
Also I agree with what you said at the end - I too feel like this mode is forced and no longer fun when you have to grind like crazy. One thing about it is great - day after it ends I always love playing randoms to just rest from FL. :D
Great game QB, but I agree its getting tedious now and needs an injection to keep the interest up. New map is a must and switching tiers is also a great idea.

Great battle QB! I love Frontline! But what frustrates me is tankers think it is all about winning. It is the rank that makes the game worth playing. That means causing damage, making it to General. General gets more rewards toward the prizes (earned tanks). You need to get/allow capping the bases to extend the time to enable more tankers to improve their rank. After you get General, have fun, but let others build their rank too, and not go to destroy the big guns. And, of course, the more damage, the better your ROI.
"Master the art of capping" sounds funny :P

Re: wheeled vehicles in Front Line - I've seen then crash into object, do a triple somersault in the air, land on their wheels and drive away. If EBRs have magic wheels that always land on the ground, so should my other light tanks.
21:10 The green circle on the ground had nothing to do with the artillery barrage, it was there because you were using your inspire consumable. You can see the green circle when you're driving around normally too.
I also had a very good game in episode 4, I did about 18,000 damage and had 6,000 assistance damage. I was able to get every single medal in that one game. I was the first general, I got general of the army, and I created a battlefield platoon and got small army. The thing is though, I don't play the mediums and lights too much. I play well armoured but reasonably mobile heavies. My first spawn is usually AMX M4 45 and depending on how the battle is playing out I'll usually play the Caernarvon AX, 50 TP Proto., or IS-3A. The odd time I'll play the Progetto 46 or EBR 75 if I think it'll be useful, but I mainly stick to heavies until all the capture points have been taken. Then I'll play more mobile mediums like the Progetto 46 or Lansen C so I can run between the turrets quickly to defend or attack them. Everyone else seems to stick to the mediums and lights but I prefer the heavy play style and I have it worked out pretty good I think. I reach major in 95% of my games, the only time I haven't gotten major is if one team completely sucks and the battle is over in 10 minutes or if I have internet issues and disconnect. In addition to reaching major in 95% of my games I reach general in 45% of my games. I have had a lot of games too where I was one or two shots away from general. Maybe I could be reaching general more if I played more mediums or lights, but I have the heavy play style down to a science and I enjoy it and do well with it so I'll keep playing that way. I just think it's interesting because you don't see too many people playing heavies as much as I do in FL.
Also, how do FL player prefer to level up their FL consumables? I've been experimenting with different methods and can't decide which is better/which I prefer. I've done it where I max out my first consumable, then my second, then my third. I've also done it where I unlock all three right off the bat then max them out one by one. The other method I've done is unlock and level all three at the same time. I think the last two might be slightly better than the first one as at least you have all three of your consumables even if they aren't maxed out, but they both seem to work well for me and the first 15 levels that are needed to max all three go so quickly that maybe it doesn't even make that much of a difference. What are your preferences fellow FL players?

I had a game with 24k combined where i tore through the city with the t95 on attack. It was beautiful
Played frontline a lot the first week and for a couple of days the second month. Went back at month 5 and by two games realised why I had begun to hate it, no none tries to win.... never going back to it.

I only play frontline for the money but bloody hell how painful it is! Progettos and lights getting what they want which is a only cap based game
Defending is much easier for ranking up than attacking is. Getting up to 90 cap points but being hit and killed before the capture completes gets you less (read zero) points than being on defense and hitting an enemy to reset for 1 point.
After buffs Progetto is crazy OP inside random battles let alone in frontline.

I used it to grind my Pershing and Tiger II, but since the French cars were added it's just masochistic playing anything other than premium tanks that suit the meta (i.e EBR, Progetto, Lorraine, Skorpion, LT432)
@@georgiospapahatzis9910 I once beaten one bad Progetto player in Škoda T 25, lol. He missed 2 shots and bounced 1 (altho I have no idea how because Czech tanks are paper) and because my Škoda reloads like 7s, it was really easy to take on him. Also, he though that ramming me would make it better, but actually got damaged 2x more than I did lmao.
But yeah, beign bottom against them sucks.

I wish the was more motivation to keep pushing AFTER you reach General because personally there is little reason to take chances and make hero plays once it has been reached as you don't gain anything. Perhaps some consumables for reaching General+ rank or something.
Now what we need is a tier X version of Frontline to freshen tier X mm a bit. (Yes I realize there are grand battles but those rarely happen and a tier X Frontline seems much more exciting)
Hey QB, I was curious on if you can make a clan video talking about the pros and cons of being in a clan and if they are worth it in this age of world of tanks.
More credits and experience in platoons by standard if one member has prem. Clans also have some boosters in place at their main base and then there is the your comrades helping. Worth it as it costs nothing
@@Charners my experience with clans are the bad clans dont participate in anything, and they good clans are either dicks or they dont let you in unless ur super unicom

Last frontline week probably the worst week i have so far, i have to play this mode for 12 hours a day just to get that emil
Because i missed two frontline episodes and started on prestige 3.
Well... atleast i got a "free" premium tank, and yes, its possible to get 4 prestige in a week
Im playing it with no prem tanks , I only have an is6 tier 8 prem wich I dont use for fl a lot.
Guess what , still not one prestige point while Ive played every time FL is open.
Last time Ive had super bad games , only 2 times won a game.
There are progettos and lights everywhere.
I only got a kv4 / t44 / lttb / obj416 and a is3.
Ive never the reached general status with these tanks.
But Ive had games with 8k dmg , 4k spotting and 3k blocked and didnt even reach major class because there are always wheeled tanks and auto loaders like progetto on top.
Also Im losing credits every FL battle and no Im not firing prem ammo.
@@Stubbari no i dont have any progetto or ebr, the only tanks i play is just lynx, pantera, and bc12t
@@baklap141 if youre trying to get alot of prestige points, focus on ranking up, not winning.
if you're on defending just focus on defending the cap, if you're on attacking just focus on capping.
and just keep playing lights and fast tanks, its the meta right now
The new map can't be released soon enough as it will be a breathe of fresh air. Also I saw a suggestion on The WoT Facebook page that allowed for map segment randomization that would be an interesting twist as well.

Quacky, i was at tankfest 2019 so i dont know much about whats going on. Did you go? There was a jpanther and it was driving around shooting fuel tanks and blanks. It was way less hot than the 36 degrees last year!
Seems to be that most of the generals are gained when the recipient has two tanks in his garage. EBR and Progetto. I personally think that the EBR should be banned or nerved in frontline, or even generally in game.

I always enjoyed playing standard random battle WOT over Frontline. The main reason I played Frontline was to be able to play my tier 8 tanks more. Now that they have fixed MM, where your tier 8's don't get stuck as bottom tier in 3/5/7, there is no compelling reason for me to really play this game mode.
I saw it’s 30 min and I was like no way I’m watch half an hour of this. And then 31 min later I was like maybe I will.
Think you can remake the Tier 10s That Are Not Worth It video sometime in the near future? Maybe when the British lights come out?
They should add episodes for tier 6 and 7
Agreed, switch up the tier in frontline get some tier 6 action.
