Mark puts in some serious podcast hours, man is all over. Growing up not far from mark I can tell you these stories are 100 % truth. Hammond, SLU,, slow learners university
“Let me bring you back to [crazy thing Mark offhandedly mentions].” Kevin is the best interviewer. Mark is the best guest but he feels self-conscious talking because he is so used to being a host. Two of my favorite comedians: a match made in heaven!
It might have seemed tedious or pushy of Kevin Pollak to keep asking for more details and fleshing out the stories, but this is the first I've heard of Enice and bribing the math teacher, and I've listened to many many Kevin Hart interviews. Kudos to both Kevins!
Keep grinding, Mark! You are undeniably, without question, a true comedian who will go down as one of the greatest joke writers in history. I hope you are enjoying every minute of your life, man! ...and cherish the terrible moments that pop-up in your life. Like alchemy-in-action, they can turn into the most hilarious and original comedy bits! I hope that doesn't sound preachy, lol. You probably know all of that anyway. Just keep doing what you're doing. ...and thanks for every chuckle and gut-laugh (there have been many!) you have provided me through standup, Tuesdays and other podcasts like this one. Lastly, Thank You Kevin Pollak for producing this fantastic podcast! It's great being able to listen to a legendary comedian enjoying the company and giving advice to a future legend.
This is by far the best interviewer of Mark that I've heard so far. I enjoy Mark in any context but Kevin's really bringing out stuff that the others don't get. He's really listening, he's smart, and I like his interjections a lot.
I had the opportunity to drive Mr. Pollak and Mr. Larry David from a hotel to the airport. They were talking, and it was so funny and I was laughing so hard my eyes were watering. I finally said "please stop". Larry David looked up and said "what?" Like he was insulted. I said "you're making me laugh so hard I can barely see". He says "oh". They toned it down a little after that. Still one of my favorite drives to this day!
Having a comedian, so well versed in the art of interview like Pollak, actually guiding Mark in conversation was an eye opener. Actually saying "wait, you just skimmed over ____". You skim over your NUGGETS fatty! Love it!
No, Mark is a great guest on all appearances. Check out his Rogan appearance. Pollak is clearly disinterested, takes Mark away from his story to "take him back" Pollak is not listening to him. It reminds me of the scene in Wayne's World 2 with Handsome Dan just saying uh huh uh huh and Wayne just says nonsense
I had no idea this show was still going! The channel hasn't uploaded anything in over a year. Edit: Oh no wait, this episode is two years old. Wow, I need to start paying attention.
What a great interview! Loved the first Conan story. I still wish Mark would do more of these podcast type interviews. 2-4 per day still isn’t enough for me. Come on fatty!
Huh? Hes terrible! He keeps trying to promote and humble brag about his shit throughout. "When I was directing.....blah blah". Any story he can squeeze in to boost his ego, he does. Hes not that great at all.
Same w/ me and Joey Diaz..regardless if his stories are exaggerated or fake, he's 100% accurate when describing details of specific places, locals, and towns in NJ
Smug and patronising? He’s had a legendary career as generally the funniest guy I every film he’s been in. And the advice he gave Mark was solid and very encouraging.
Completely disagree. He sounds so disinterested. It becomes so apparent when Mark mentions the next guest and that he feels more nervous. And Pollak just says "your episode will be on another week"
If Mark is uploading other peoples' podcasts, monetizing them, and flooding them with far too many ads, he must really badly need the money. Let's stop complaining and just enjoy the content.
19 ad-breaks in the timeline!? I think Mark is saving up to buy some more property, altho Joe trying to persuade him not too 😆👍 I'm all for it tho, love you no matter how many ads 🙌😎
Man so interested to hear this because I love Mark Normand but man how many commercials can you fit. Pretty much ruined the whole talk show I'll listen to 3-4 hours but if it's constantly cutting back to a commercial over and over it ruins the experience for the listener. I get that you want to make a lot of money but you also want a lot of listeners and you killed my experience with the greed. So I got through 5 minutes hey didn't waste a lot of my time
To the people complaining about the amount of ads, fast forward to the end of the video then replay the video ad free. You're welcome. Learn how to RUclips.. I won't charge yah this time.
Yo! So far this is actually working and it was worth all the skipping forwards that I had to do. I might have arthritis now, but it’s worth it ha ha thanks again!
that was great! Kevin is a great interviewer. when you talked about your first Conan O'Brien appearance i felt like i was there with you. lots of details, good story
Counting all the KEving Hart hack comments....you are #2. Well done on being unoriginal. This comment has been done to death. Try some new material. Its just embarrassing. geez
This felt like I got to listen in on a therapy session, but therapy where the person cares about you. Therapy where the person's also a comedian and understands what you've been going through and is making you realize that you've been a success, and are continuing to be a success. You're a better comic than you think you are Mark, and you're doing it big! All the best!
Huge tuesgay checking in, huge fan of both mark and kevin. Unrelated, but sort of related, i recently re-wathced "A Few Good Men" this week, which Kevin was in, as well as Demi Moore and Tom Cruise. I was mentioning how great of a movie it was to my coworkers and had to point out how attractive Demi Moore was in it, so I dropped the line, in a semi-professional work environment, "I'd murder a a full Kinder Garden Class to get within a 100 yards of Demi Moore circa 1992!" And it killed, and i am also now unemployed. #jokes #comedy
Geezus. Why does it feel like Pollak is annoyed? He keeps grilling Mark about redundant details and doesn't let Mark talk. The only other episode I heard was when Burr was on and in comparison Pollak was like a tween girl smitten on the backstreet boys. I love Mark, for some reason Kevin is trying to under mine him, if this is your only exposure to Mark please check out his appearance on Rogan. Even his episode on The Honey Dew or Are You Garbage do much better justice
Wow! This was the most personal/personable conversation with Mark Normand I've ever heard. Got to learn so much and could imagine ALL the feels Mark described^^.
Mark puts in some serious podcast hours, man is all over.
Growing up not far from mark I can tell you these stories are 100 % truth.

Do you know him or know someone who knows him? He's my favorite comedian
As someone with family in Hammond, I laughed when he said the cities were getting smaller and sadder.
“Let me bring you back to [crazy thing Mark offhandedly mentions].” Kevin is the best interviewer. Mark is the best guest but he feels self-conscious talking because he is so used to being a host. Two of my favorite comedians: a match made in heaven!
Two underrated comedians
I love when a Kevin interviews a Kevin.
I love when a Pollak interviews a Pollak.
Pollak is a solid interviewer. Straight to the point and really inquisitive.
Mark is quickly becoming one of my favorites
It might have seemed tedious or pushy of Kevin Pollak to keep asking for more details and fleshing out the stories, but this is the first I've heard of Enice and bribing the math teacher, and I've listened to many many Kevin Hart interviews. Kudos to both Kevins!
Mark’s the best! Just bought my ticket to see him in May and I’m SO excited (and a little gay).
You're not gay
@@rodsavage8275 If you knew Mark you’d have gotten the joke.
You can Kevin opened up once he noticed he is hearing the story of a future comedic legend. Great pod you queef!

I was this old when I realized it was Mr.Pollak that played that tiny character in the WILLOW film
Kevin is a perfect host. A star in his own right, but talks just enough to make his great guest shine.
Can't believe this only has 1000 views
Can't Count Chocula.. how was this missed!
Kevin is really quick witted. This is great

Holy Reupload Batman...I had forgotten about this little gem.
For how smug and patronising Pollak is, you'd think he was higher up the comedy ladder than "Impressionist and character actor"
Smug and patronising? He’s had a legendary career as generally the funniest guy I every film he’s been in. And the advice he gave Mark was solid and very encouraging.
I don't know the original air date for this was. But to see what's has happened to his career since then is craxy . Very well deserved.

Holy hell I didnt know he still did this
Stellar interview 👍
Man this was a great podcast!
Hell yeah help mark sell the show!
I learned a lot about you in this one! a Real Comic.
This guy is great at listening and making the person feel comfortable on podcast. Kevin is the best at keeping a chill vibe
Completely disagree. He sounds so disinterested. It becomes so apparent when Mark mentions the next guest and that he feels more nervous. And Pollak just says "your episode will be on another week"
Jokes on you, I just watched this episode last week! Lol
When was this recorded? Hasn't this show been over for years?
Everyone realizes they better get a podcast going or they're going to be left in the dust. Wasn't clamoring for a Kevin Pollak pod.
He's been doing this for years, and this episode is two years old.
He’s one of the originals
Mister Tanner give's you the "D"!

He's told the story on other pods too.
Jesus Christ Mark could you place MORE ads please!? Lol
Is Mark being interrogated as one of the usual suspects?
He loves Sam Roberts ask him

he actually does since he’s not touring as much. i think he mentioned it on one his other pods
