    Jason Alexander is very humble. His portrayal of George in Seinfeld was pure genius, and it is shameful that he never won an Emmy for that in of the years he was nominated. Very enjoyable interview.

    I think the reason Jason didn’t win an Emmy is because he played the character in a way that made it look so easy. Which what only pure genius comedians can do.

    Fantastic interview and great platform for intelligent and candid conversations for getting a glimpse into the lives of some of our favorite on screen personalities. This is one of my favorite interviews of all time!

    I really liked this. Jason really let down his guard and was very likable. He has a cheerfully filthy mind ~ much appreciated in this house. I had several real laughs.

    We are all George Constanza. I love him and Larry David the most. Watched Seinfeld and Courb Your Enthusiasm so much, that i feel like they're my friends now :)

      No. We are not. George is Larry David. Most of what George does is Larry Davids life. We did nto live Davids life. And frankly, he knows he a narcissitic jerks sometimes. So.. you go ahead and wave that flag. Im not George. Im not Larry David. And if thats the case.... IF TRUE... yer kind of a prick then.

    You know when you listen to music and you get flooded with memories that youve attached to that music, I’m watching this for the nostalgia. I remember mostly listening to the KPCS whilst working as a gardener. Knob Creek, youre on the air.

      The 1st season of Seinfeld sucked really bad. Everyone is super lucky that NBC didn't cancel it after the 1st season, we would've missed out what would become the greatest sitcom of all time.

    If you watch Curbed closely and you're a Seinfeld fanatic, a majority of the episodes are basically R rated Seinfeld stories. So many almost exact same story lines.

    Funny, before Jason Alexander comes on, Kevin touts the then soon to debut Million Dollar Money Drop. One month ago, I watched a much newer KPCS, where Kevin makes fun of what a bomb the Mil Dollar Money Drop was and how no one watched it (showed a clip too).

    Jason Alexander seems like someone that you LOVE their character but dislike the actor. I know someone who worked with Jason and said it was not a good experience. "Asshole" came up frequently in her recounting

    my top two guesses of the role Jason Alexander was offered for the "Glengarry Glenn Ross" film but then had to turn down due to scheduling... 1. okay I forget most the character names, but the role played by Alan Arkin (kinda ironic, given the interviewer here), 2. the role of the customer played by Johnathan Pryce.

    Most interesting! I didn't know, Jason's birth name was Jay Greenspan. He really didn't need to change his name. HIs original name was just fine,....in my opinion. I know some (Jewish people) changed their names in the olden days,.....to names that were less Jewish sounding, during the era when there was still prejudice. But Hollywood was and is still peopled by many who are of that faith. Jeff Goldblum,...kept his name. Stephen Tobolowsky kept his name. And many others have, as well.

    His recollection of the Charlie Rose interview and getting asked about the Seinfeld negotiations doesn't quite how it went. Charlie definitely wasn't trying to play gotcha in that interview.

    Jason's memory is a little bit off. There were only 12 episodes in season 2, not 13 episodes and the masturbation episode was the 11th episode of the 4th season, not the 3rd or 4th episode of the 3rd season.

      There were 13 episodes ordered for season 2. However one of those episodes written ( The Bet/the Gun) was rejected. Also, Season 2 had to be postponed one week because the Gulf War and its news coverage began the very night of the S2E1 premiere.

    I really felt I got to know Jason Alexander through this interview.
    Still wondering how George and Jerry were such big Mets fans but George threw himself into working for the Yankees.

    Chachi's a millionaire. Scott Baio has done more than Happy Days/Joanie Loves Chachi. I liked Diagnosis Murder with Dick Van Dyke. I try to disassociate an actors' political views from his work. One has nothing to do with the other. I had a history professor in college who was very liberal and would bash Charlton Heston (noted conservative). Politics have no place in entertainment.

    "Eccentric" was not the difference. Jim Ignatowski was eccentric. Alexander was saying that Kramer was written as a Jim-type character and Richards made it different.

    dudes getting your music leadin audio output going to the mix to the final on RUclips is very very low it can easily be 8 to 10 decibels louder and still not approach anywhere near distorted.
