Hello. Nice video. Sir i am having a doubt. I have sent graduation transcripts from delhi university but my status at wes says statement of marks - accepted and degree certificate- not received. Can i directly upload the degree i have to my account or i have to apply all over again for transcripts?
All were sent by university only. Mdu sent everything electronically, ignou also sent itself ( i applied and pay for the fees only and photocopies were also given). And mdu and ignou were accepted in one go. Its du only in which faced problem. They gave me sealed envelope and i posted it via university post. Now wes also shows that degree certificates can be uploaded directly. I just want to make sure if it can be done or not.
Yes, it definitely can be done. Go to your Account Timeline and scroll down to the 'Upload Degree Certificates and Translations section'. You'll get a set of instructions with document size and formats etc.

Very useful video. I have called and verified with my university and the process is just to upload the Degree certificate and Marklist. I am so happy that I came across this video. U just saved a lot of my time and money. Thank you so much. Only one confusion, if you have masters, WES is asking to upload Bachelors certificate also. Not sure, how they will evaluate, if the masters and bachelors are from 2 different universities.

My question is, does WES evaluate an autonomous college and a PGDM distance learning course? In fact I can also see my college name under the drop-down list of WES college list.

Statement of Marks (State Board Issued and Attested) Ask the appropriate State Board of Technical Education to attest and send your document directly to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the State Board of Technical Education Where as 1. Diploma Certificate (Final or Provisional) can be uploaded online So looks like its not entirely online , can you clarify please

To Claim 22 points on FWS there's is an option that says "two or more post-secondary program credentials, one of which must be a credential issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer;" I need to validate both degrees or just one in order to claim points, because Wes says valide the highest one, thank you.

Yea okay....But then I already have transcripts with me i had ordered extra...But the format they have sent me those are not according to WES...like the Seal is proper, the sign is inside the Seal, There is no name of university on the envelope. If like this they send the Docs to Wes it will be rejected

hi Jason, thanks for such an informative video !!! i understood from your video that the same reference number (which is provided by WES upon the fee payment) is to be used for each and every document (degree/certificate/transcript) to be sent to WES for assessment. i just want to know if one has to pay a fee of 220$ for each document in case an applicant has multiple degrees from same/multiple universities or this 220$ is applicable for a reference number only and that reference number may have multiple degrees in it either from same or different universities. your reply will be really helpful !! thanks😀
Hi Kunaal, 220 would be for all your degrees together, you don't have to pay for them separately, unless you choose to evaluate another degree on a later date. Then you would need to pay another $100.

Hey Jason - What we mean by degree certificate is the convocation certificate right, the bigger one? As an applicant I only need to upload a colour scanned copy of my convocation certificate in the application right?
from all the videos watched this was helpful, so what is understand is first I have create account on WES, fill details and make payment and then through my university, upload the documents with the wes reference number, all I need to do is upload the documents on MU page.. nothing needs to be uploaded on WES page.. please correct me if I am wrong

I’ve one query though, I’m a graduate from University of Mumbai, when I was applying for online attestation from the online portal under step 3 they asked to upload a transcript and it was mentioned that issue date should not be older than 1 year from current year. And now I have provisional degree for PG and official degree takes an year or two to come. So can the provisional degree work for evaluation through IQAS or provisional degree doesnt work and my PG would not be considered. And I should just get my Bachelors evaluated.
Yes, provisional degrees can be evaluated. Depending on which country you completed your education, you may or may not have to submit all credentials for evaluation.

I need some help, while filling the WES form what should we enter in the years attended section if we have some backlogs during the degree, for example my degree was supposed to be completed from 2012 - 2015 but as I had some backlogs I cleared it in November 2017 and got the degree certificate in February 2018 so what should be the year in the year awarded ? Hey Jason, after getting our university documents attestated online and attacing the Wes reference number, do we need to fill out anything else? How will the college come to know when to send the documents to WES?
While uploading documents after payment, do we need to upload coloured scanned copies or scanned copies of photocopies? At the time of uploading do we need to write down the WES reference number on top of the certificate? Can we proceed with the online ECA report provided by WES in Express Entry profile or do we need to wait for the hardcopy to be received and then proceed?
You need to upload color scanned images. There will be a separate section for your reference number while making your application. You can proceed with the soft copy of your ECA, the hard copy is mailed to your address just for your records.
Hello, I’ve directly applied for sending my certificates from the JNTU Hyderabad on 4th September and they’ve dispatched them through DHL on 15th September . They’ve reached WES Canada on 17 Sep 11:59. But when I tried tracking in WES profile, it’s still showing as no parcel reached with given tracking number and status is on hold. Does it take some time to update the status

I completely the entire process via online. JNTUH provides a student service portal and you can register it using your hall ticket number . Apply for the transcripts online and you can select an option to either directly send them to WES by giving your WES Id or you can collect them in person and mail them from the nearest post office of JNTUH to WES

Hi Chaitali, you'll receive a nomination package by email if your application has been approved which will include a nomination letter, an SINP work permit support letter (if applicable), and further instructions on how to proceed with an application for Permanent Residency with the Government of Canada. You must submit your application for PR to IRCC within six months of being nominated by the SINP.

Pune doesn't have an online submission process yet; you can use the paper-based system explained later in the video

The return address takes care of that, make sure that's there. If it isn't, add it yourself, and Don forget your reference number as well
So I can directly send my transcripts those which are sealed to WES with the reference number and then they contact the university for the same??

i just want to know if one has to pay a fee of 220$ for each document in case an applicant has multiple degrees from same/multiple universities or this 220$ is applicable for a reference number only and that reference number may have multiple degrees in it either from same or different universities.

Hi Kunaal, 220 would be for all your degrees together, you don't have to pay for them separately, unless you choose to evaluate another degree on a later date. Then you would need to pay another $100.

Hey Jason - What we mean by degree certificate is the convocation certificate right, the bigger one? As an applicant I only need to upload a colour scanned copy of my convocation certificate in the application right?
A convocation certificate is different from a Degree certificate issued to you.

from all the videos watched this was helpful, so what is understand is first I have create account on WES, fill details and make payment and then through my university, upload the documents with the wes reference number, all I need to do is upload the documents on MU page.. nothing needs to be uploaded on WES page.. please correct me if I am wrong

Sometimes it takes time to reflect on your account. You can even contact WES about it using their contact options mentioned on the website.

You have to upload it from the University page as demonstrated in the video, you can't upload anything independently

I’ve one query though, I’m a graduate from University of Mumbai, when I was applying for online attestation from the online portal under step 3 they asked to upload a transcript and it was mentioned that issue date should not be older than 1 year from current year. And now I have provisional degree for PG and official degree takes an year or two to come. So can the provisional degree work for evaluation through IQAS or provisional degree doesnt work and my PG would not be considered. And I should just get my Bachelors evaluated.
Yes, provisional degrees can be evaluated. Depending on which country you completed your education, you may or may not have to submit all credentials for evaluation.

I need some help, while filling the WES form what should we enter in the years attended section if we have some backlogs during the degree, for example my degree was supposed to be completed from 2012 - 2015 but as I had some backlogs I cleared it in November 2017 and got the degree certificate in February 2018 so what should be the year in the year awarded ? The hard copy isn't used at all in any application process. Its just for you, for your personal records.

While uploading documents after payment, do we need to upload coloured scanned copies or scanned copies of photocopies?
At the time of uploading do we need to write down the WES reference number on top of the certificate?

You need to upload color scanned images. There will be a separate section for your reference number while making your application. You can proceed with the soft copy of your ECA, the hard copy is mailed to your address just for your records.
Also reference number should be written on sealed envelope ✉ not on the each document, right?

But when I tried tracking in WES profile, it’s still showing as no parcel reached with given tracking number and status is on hold. Does it take some time to update the status

I completely the entire process via online. JNTUH provides a student service portal and you can register it using your hall ticket number . Apply for the transcripts online and you can select an option to either directly send them to WES by giving your WES Id or you can collect them in person and mail them from the nearest post office of JNTUH to WES
