During one of the ads for the game, a person going by the name Raphael criticized the demo, saying that it's all preplanned, has no soul and that it says Stanley's name too much, all in the most pompous and self-absorbed way possible. Not only does Kevan Brighting as the Narrator scathingly mock him in the ad, if you open up the console commands and type in Raphael in the main game, the Narrator does nothing but say Stanley in every overdramatic way possible.
Octavian's house in ACNH is full of space stuff and in the middle is that same space ship and the alien comes out from time to time. He's basically harboring it and sometimes also tries to deny the existence of aliens in a letter he's written to you (can't remember if he also does this while talking to him).

I can't confirm it as I never figured out how to do it, but I do know for sure that in the sequel you could make Rincewind travel back to the first game and argue with his previous self about which of them was going to be the first person to say f$*k in a video game.

Weird Easter eggs? How about 47 phone home? Hitman 2: Berlin level. Start somewhere other than the gas station. There is an alien graffiti with some numbers. Take a picture of it using the cell phone and 47 will say "This means something" (reference to the movie Encounter of the Third Kind). Walk up to the gas station. Use the pay phone and put in the numbers from the graffiti. 47 gets abducted by aliens. (reference to E.T.)
Keith Flint's journey to frontman of The Prodigy is a pretty unique and cool one. He started out as just a huge fan of Liam Howlett as a DJ, then became Liam's friend and convinced him to start putting out his own music, went on to become sort of dancer for the band along with a couple other friends, then hypeman before they'd come out, the band never had lyrics and one day he goes "hey uh.... you mind if I try writing some lyrics to this song and see how it goes?" Boom. That song was Firestarter and it went over big.
If I made an open world game, somewhere I would hide a giant tap dancing spider, with the message: "We love you, Ellen" written in beautiful graffiti on a wall nearby.
Naughty Dog like to put in odd collectibles as Easter Eggs to some of their other games, such as the Skeleseer skull from TLOU: Left Behind appearing in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy if you can find it (and it still works as an 8-ball too if you rotate it)

Ubi-games tend to do this, especially in the Far cry and watchdogs games. FC5 got several stings to critics, devs etc.

Weird Easter eggs? How about 47 phone home? Hitman 2: Berlin level. Start somewhere other than the gas station. There is an alien graffiti with some numbers. Take a picture of it using the cell phone and 47 will say "This means something" (reference to the movie Encounter of the Third Kind). Walk up to the gas station. Use the pay phone and put in the numbers from the graffiti. 47 gets abducted by aliens. (reference to E.T.)

Keith Flint's journey to frontman of The Prodigy is a pretty unique and cool one. He started out as just a huge fan of Liam Howlett as a DJ, then became Liam's friend and convinced him to start putting out his own music, went on to become sort of dancer for the band along with a couple other friends, then hypeman before they'd come out, the band never had lyrics and one day he goes "hey uh.... you mind if I try writing some lyrics to this song and see how it goes?" Boom. That song was Firestarter and it went over big.
