Aprilia RS250 2 stroke Big 100+ mph Slide | Cadwell Park

I don't do slides often... But when I do they are spectacular 😂 the GoPro giro doesn't show this to the full extent. Hit the lock stop!! Turns out my base gasket let go and anti freeze was blowing out left side. Very lucky the marshals noticed quick red flagged and pulled me over
Even more lucky how I managed to save that! I must've looked like a cowboy with my legs out as that came round

All I’ll say is the bike gods decided it wasn’t your time that day.
That was some skill to save the bike and yourself that quickly. What 8/16th of a second late and you would been in the wall. 😮

@@Birky_41 did you manage to repair the failure or was the engine toast ? I don’t know what failed hence why I am asking? I used to rebuild RS50,125 and 250s a lot in my late teens as mate were always thrashing the life out of them.

That reeks of cold tyres; assuming it was the out lap and the tyres weren’t warm? I might be inclined to go a bit steadier. I say this from experience at the Gooseneck

No tyres were fine straight from warmers 3rd sesh. It was a base gasket that blew and spat anti freeze all on my boots, fairing and tyres
