Annie is such a sweetheart like her dad.

Female gorillas especially like Annie or even Ai. Aspenalls are proof humans can be around gorillas but have to build trust just like some humans are around other humans. Some male gorillas dont like adult humans like Momotaro but Shabani I bet hed be fine with any type of human.

Aw, these interactions are always way too precious. I just feel bad that she can't have access to the toys she is being shown, she always seems extremely fascinated by them. This could just be me being hypersensitive but she looks so sad when she can't touch them. I could be interpreting it wrong because clearly Annie likes that little cutie. She's amazing with children. I hope she'll be able to have some babies someday. ❤

i love it when annie gets in that certain mood where she starts to throw things. you can tell there are two separate occasions - 1. like in this video where she is showing off for the crowd, and 2. when she is upset (usually at Kiyo) for doing something or taking something from her lol

Рики умер через неделю после рождения Аи.
Однако в доме горилл была еще одна самка гориллы по имени Оки.
*Оки рожала один раз, но роды были мертворожденными.
Хотя Нене была расстроена, Оки помогла вырастить ребенка, и Аи благополучно вырос. Ни Оки, ни Нене никогда не видели и не сталкивались с воспитанием детей, но говорили, что разумные обезьяны не могут хорошо воспитывать детей, пока не научатся этому, но Оки, который никогда не сталкивался и не учился этому, помог вырастить именно Аи.
