    I was born in Phoenix that year. My dad would take us to Sky Harbor to watch planes on Sundays when I was about 6 yrs old. Great video!

    Everyone dressed up to get on a plane back then. It was a big to do. Now you just roll out of bed and get on in your pajamas. Lol

    Back when the land was undisturbed. No shopping centers or subdivisions and 3 million less people. Miss those days a lot!!

    4:32 Who are these fancy Sky Harbor ladies?? Just being filmed walking around all slowly, looking right into the camera.

  • @Javelina_Poppers
    @Javelina_Poppers 11 месяцев назад

    I was 5 when these were taken and a couple of times a year my dad had to go to Sky Harbor to pick up some air freight. They would open the gate on the side of the terminal and we'd drive our truck up to the plane and they'd load dad's truck right there. Today we'd have to take off our shoes just to get in the parking lot let alone let us get near a plane.
