I live in Arizona quite a few years ago for one year. Nobody could have prepared me for the type of heat that you have in Phoenix the temperature starts getting above 100° everyday about the middle of April and stays that way until about the middle of October. As someone who likes sunny or climates I used to get up at 6 a.m. open my bedroom curtains and see this big ball of fire aka the Sun and not a cloud in the sky. By 8 a.m. it was already getting suffocatingly hot. They used to tell me before I move there that it wasn't that bad because it was a dry heat. Well guess what that dry heat is like living in an oven. Most people in the summertime don't do anyting stay in the house and I literally became a full-blown alcoholic living in that miserable City. I couldn't wait to get the hell out and I've never been back that goodness to me it was like hell on Earth for 5 months of the year. The smart people they just moved from the northern part of the United States down to Phoenix for a few months in the winter time because the winters are very tolerable and quite Pleasant. But as I said once April rolls around the temperature starts getting above 100 everyday and it is Hell on Earth till the middle of October. PS you never want to have or take advice from somebody who's lived in a certain city or location their whole life because they have nothing else to compare it to.
I have lived in Az for 95% of my life but also moved to Denver for about a year ish. I can 1000% say weathers definitely better other places but some people don’t care about the weather as much as they care about affordable housing.

NO. . .Cost of living is crazy high in Arizona compared to many other states. . .I happen to be in Wichita, Kansas and would like to move to Arizona. I'm renting a loft apartment here. A similar size apartment in a decent area of Phoenix is listed at TWICE the rent I'm paying here. I don't know Arizona. . .Kansas may be boring to some people, but it's way more affordable. And anytime I want some excitement I can always just take a trip to Vegas or even out to Phoenix, where I have friends. But "living" there? Looks like I won't be able to afford it. Very disappointing, but Arizona isn't worth TWICE the expense. I'll just settle for visiting occasionally. The prices out there are ridiculous.
I live in California. Groceries are 30% more expensive. Child care is 70% more expensive. Taxes are doubled. I live in a 800 square foot home with my fiance and 3 year old, I pay 2175 to live in shitty house in the hood. If I move to Arizona I can get a house double the size for 1400 a month. I can afford gas because right now I pay 5 dollars a gallon compared to Arizona where it’s below 3. I will be able to actually save money for the first time in my life and live comfortably at the same time. To survive in Cali you need a household income of about 80,000 in AZ it’s only 44,000. Do you want to buy a little shitty 1,000 sq ft house in California for 600,000 or do you wanna buy a big beautiful home in a nice area for 300,000. You can comment whatever you want but remember some people would kill to live there. I’ll will be out there in the next year.
Arizona is not for everybody, the right people should have told you that. It's meant for people who want the vigorous challenge of life and added danger of the outdoors. Now the power's at be messed the whole place up and drove up prices. You don't hear them complain about the heat in Egypt or the Sahara, lots of retirement communities out there Right..
@Phxlivingnicole we are leasing out one property now, but I have been getting offers from several developers that want to build apartments on my property. @@Phxlivingnicole nope. Never again. The era of cheap easy living in AZ is over. So happy I experienced the best of times there. It's over.
Swimming where ?! In July and august… in bath water ? Lol .. during those months is no outside activity
Haha I still go swimming but just staying the shade! Also I’ve had clients put in a cooler to their pools which makes a huge difference!
Pools in Az spray cooler water into them to keep the water temperature from getting too hot. I have a hot tub and there’s no need to heat it during the summer.
No one told you it was hot there?.. how odd..I thought it was 65 all year!..
I moved to Phoenix to teach in 2017... Left after the school year and returned to Ohio
Too Darn hot for me.
I rather be homeless in a cooler state then have a house in arizona its HELL on earth. I feel sorry for people
I don’t know about that. I don’t think you’ve ever been homeless lol I’m from Arizona. I left Arizona and I came back. There’s some thing about affordable housing 👍🏻🙂
Do you post that comment on every AZ channel?
@@LA-kc7ev Did I? If so that's hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It get very hot from calif to the southeast us
@@josephaugello1527 I lived in San Francisco all my life and it stays 63 degrees almost ever single day all year round. I feel so blessed to live here and not anywhere super hot or cold
As a former resident I can tell you AZ is a wonderful place. Except for the people. They really suck.
I HATE NJ!! I can't do it anymore.I need to move where it's warm
Come on over! One of my New Jersey clients said it was like 80% plus humidity. That sounds horrible.
NO. . .Cost of living is crazy high in Arizona compared to many other states. . .I happen to be in Wichita, Kansas and would like to move to Arizona.
Yea phx is affordable for a large metro.
Don't move to Arizona
Amen please keep your liberal self where you are
Not everyone is going to love it that’s for sure!

Awesome!!
Education is in the toilet...I moved here from the midwest and the more native AZ people I met the more I felt like a damn genius. lmao
Damn right
Arizona isn't hot lol 😂 try the south it's hell
That’s what I’ve heard!! I would like to say I want to see for myself but I don’t think I could handle it 🤣
too many people here , please don't move here
Plenty of space left! Being built out every day here!
Arizona is not for everybody, the right people should have told you that. It's meant for people who want the vigorous challenge of life and added danger of the outdoors. Now the power's at be messed the whole place up and drove up prices. You don't hear them complain about the heat in Egypt or the Sahara, lots of retirement communities out there Right..
put your hands down young lady and just talk
I hate Arizona!!! Good thing is my house and properties have skyrocketed
If you ever want to sell and move to a different state you know who to call 🙂
@Phxlivingnicole we are leasing out one property now, but I have been getting offers from several developers that want to build apartments on my property. Also I am currently renting out my home in North Peoria to a family from India. That home sits on 2 acres with a guest house. We plan on selling it to them by the end of the year. Thank you.
Arizona is full. Dont move here
Not even close to full
The public school system in Phoenix is one of the worst in the country.
Where is it anything other than an indoctrination camp? The whole US education system is a crock.
Not sure on schools but I probably wouldn’t put my kids in public schools no matter where I lived. I went to school here and here I am 🤷🏻♀️
are u like the realtors in naples fl there lips drip of honey
I’m not sure what that means
Love AZ!! ❤️ it's very costly now pretty much everywhere in the US,only been ther 2times the scenery yes the heat I can take,Chicago socks my opinion 😀
