I had my first species of vulture during the summer in the french Pyrenees. Had the Egyptian the first day and got the bearded vulture on the last day.
I managed to get all three vultures flying over the skiing resort I was staying at. Did not get close views of the Egyptian, only distant, got less distant views of the bearded but had a group of griffon vultures flying right over my head.

Thanks for making this Video, it's well thought out and sets the scene well and of course great images of the Bird species. Spain is very well set up for Hide work with so many now operating. You will always need your guides to have the necessary licenses on sensitive species. Look forward to seeing more from you in the future...regards.

Great video. I am going to Spain from New Zealand next year and want to see lammergeier. Can you share this place and the accommodation you mentioned?

Nice video, Yannic. Very informative for sure. Personally, I believe there are some good reasons here for feeding the vultures, though it may now be a little out of control. From the standpoint of photographing wildlife, I get more satisfaction from the process of locating wildlife and photographing in their natural habitat, whatever that may be. Enjoy your videos.👍👍

Im surprised you was allowed to take the drone footage, in spain you need a special license to fly drones in national parks.

it depends a bit... its different from every Federal State like everywhere right now you need to take a bit of research. and also on the Size and weight of the drone. Mine is for example under 250gr. with those small size drones you often need in a lot of Places no special Permission

I'm afraid you do in Spain, if you look at drone laws in Spain, it's illegal to fly any drone in a natural or national park, that are not states here they are zones. You're lucky you got away with it this time, in future be careful.

@@dalesutton1284 Thanks a lot for your Feedback! What makes you think I flew that drone in a Nationalpark? there Is a Website where you can check if you are allowed to fly a drone in a particular area. Pls check here: drones.enaire.es/
and as far as I was able to see I never flew inside of an forbidden Area. for double safety the DJI Drones normally also give you a Notice if you are in an restricted area. I always double-check the Areas I wanna fly before getting the drone up!
