  • Important vocabulary for sacrifice and anointing!
    (contains PG sacrifice scene)
    Corrections:
    Everywhere בַּשֶׁמֶן occurs, it should be בַּשֶּׁמֶן.
    At 7:53, it should be הֲדִבַּרְתְּ
    At 5:35 and afterwards, it should be הֲבַשָּׂדֶה
    At 6:29 and afterwards, it should be הֲבַבַּיִת

    Kochane Koleżanki i Koledzy ze szkoły Beth: dlaczego wstawiacie tak mało komentarzy i lajków? Przecież to pomaga w zasięgach kanału. A jest to kanał wspaniały; tak dużo włożonej doskonałej pracy Beth i Jej Zespołu... Świetnie nam się tutaj uczy, więc nie żałujmy przynajmniej tak drobnego wsparcia. 💙

    Hello Bet and Abram, thank you for your video! Are these Biblical Hebrew can be used and understood in modern day Israel?

    • @AlephwithBeth
      @AlephwithBeth  3 года назад +6

      Hi Chiara, the language in these videos will be understandable for Modern Hebrew speakers, but will probably sound old-fashioned to them. Kind of like Modern English vs. the language of the KJV.

    Ciao a voi due! About the horns. Does it mean there is a dual mode in Hebrew? Therefore 3 modes: singular, dual, and plural? Thanks. Marion

    • @AlephwithBeth
      @AlephwithBeth  2 года назад +3

      Yes, there is a dual form in Hebrew, but not for all nouns. Most nouns have just singular and plural forms, many body parts have just singular and dual forms, and only a few nouns like units of time have all three

      Are you referring to כִּי אִם־ ? That comes after a negative and means something like "...but rather..." As in, not __X__ כִּי אִם־ "but instead" __Y__
      אִם sometimes would be translated 'if' and sometimes as 'or', and others depending on the context...
