maybe you can find a spacer of some kind to go in between the polycap. That way the peg won't be sticking out. It just seems to be a partial gap they didn't take into account.
I'd agree with the canadian and Hellfire's advice and glue that bloody polycap down. Also, that transformation must have been one of the best I've seen on a gundam since the Arios/Kyrios. The top and bottom fighters were actually somewhat convincing.
I'm just waiting for it, it's hardly something quick here in France to afford gunplas but I, with my little 47 gunplas (all sizes together) am a fan of yours and find all your reviews interesting complete and usefull.
I think you should just wait for the V2 MG...given its flaws and what not, even though like you, I'm a big fan of the V-Gundam designs, the V just doesn't warrant a repeat purchase. The whole beam shield debacle just broke my heart, to tell you the truth. Brilliant review as always.
Don't know if you'll want to trt this, but to solve the hip joint issue, you could push the polycap ball in all the way, and then cut off the remaining plastic that sticks out past it. The polycap will be secure, and the prodtruding plastic won't be there to interfere with fitting the leg on. But you know the kit much better than I would, so I'm sure you can think of something less drastic to solve the problem. Anyway, great review as always, rrobbert! Happy "Almost" New Year! xD
is it possible to use the transformation of the arm in gundam mode? cuz the red part seems to swing forward and lock in place so then if you put the shield on the piece wouldnt swing down... that is if the arm can transform in gundam mode....!
I really like the top fighter, but the bottom is kinda meh. The 2 mg idea sounds really awesome, especially with a core fighter flying forwards. The dash pack will probably end up being available, but I'd guess it'll be a B-club kind of thing. thanks for the great review^ ^
You never know with Bandai and their re-release of kits. I just heard their releasing a Unicorn OVA ver. and an OVA ver. SP pack. So you never know a V-dash gundam may come out. Btw great review, I'm actually thinking about getting this kit.

Nice review. My model just came in the mail today so I'm excited to start making it. Might put the clear parts in the Hexa version and see how that is.
since I'm collecting all the gundams (the lead ones to begin with) I already ordered it, and I am one guy who could easily afford another V gundam if it were to com out with the V-dash system. yes, here in France me with all my fellow fans do truly wait for such MG series, may they be good or not. I deeply want a MG X et Double X.... and the Turn X to... and The-O
Hey rrobbert184, if you can ever in the future do a review of the MG V-Dash Core Fighter for exchanging with the core fighter of this master grade, i got lucky and found both the V-gundam and the extra core fighter in the discount bin at hobby town, cant say that leave me with good feelings, but being my first master grade im still very excited
@whaaaazaaaa weak? yeah he has low health, but there are few "Weak" units in the game....mainly the mass productions... V gundam is strange because based on how much of V gundam you have not launched off, the stronger he is. Having the arms brings the shield up when shooting and having the legs increases your boost speed (both rising and dashing)

You could try popping the polycap into the leg first and then attaching it to the hips ;)

looks like you need to glue that polycap in place so it won't slide down over the peg.

Try super gluing the policaps to the waist peg
I think you should buy a second victory gundam and the second one might be better in the leg area

that lightnig base is use for any gundams that r clear version gundams

good. its an overrate design. MG V is far superior.
