Great vid, I put a foot loop on the bottom of the hand ascender, and attach the pulley through the top clip point… used to do rope access, but now I only do mine exploration and rock climbing. Might get back into it, feeling the itch again :)

The ID gives a lot of friction, it is for descending not for hauling
But this way it is very fast to change from a raise to a lower. The added friction shouldn't be a problem with a haul team.
Agree. You could get the same result with a carabiner.
