Good video, even after several hundreds hours of gameplay, I still learn new things, thank you. I would just add two side-tips that are conected to those tips you mentioned. First, obtaining blood via fluid press can be done very easily by putting a human flesh (just the standard one, not Yoggite one), and this way, it is very cost-effective (one human flesh yields one blood). Second, it is a good idea to unpack Supply Materials near your storage chest - the stuff that comes out of it can be heavy as hell and can lead to over-encumbrance very easily, while Supply Materials themselves are relatively light.
Regarding the fish traps - Place 'handful of insects' into them to focus gaining the unappetizing fish. Use a pickaxe on insect-dropping shrubs to gain nothing but insects. You won't get plant fiber or seeds at all with a pickaxe, so you'll not load up on stuff that you might not be after. It's not a certainty you'll get the insects with each swing, but at least you're not getting other bits.
I knew the fishtraps thing (in fact I didn't know they would catch anything without bugs), but I didn't know that using pickaxe or hatchet would get me more bugs...this is great. Is there a way to get more seeds of stuff, or am I stuck with the sickle for that?
@@TheBayzent Sorry, unless you're running mods ( Emberlight, for example ) I don't know of anything currently that will net you more in the way of seeds.
I usually go to the black galleon for packages. The quality of items in the pack corresponds with the level of the bearer you get it from (and maybe location too, since I get different distribution of items from it than you in the video). Getting bearer packs is my go-to method to farm wood and stone nowadays, significantly better than actual mining and harvesting. You can go a round the black galleon with a dressed up bearer, there are 4 bearers there with the potential to spawn a named one. you can clear it in a few min, and by the time you reach the last bearer the first one respawned. 4 rounds yields 16 packages, that usually yields 2k stone and wood if you are lucky in less than 30m. You might argue that mining is faster but it is significantly more boring as well, and pirates drop additional 1k stone and wood while you whack them. You can just put a stack in the oven and start making hardened brick and processed wood while you run another round, easy t3 materials. You can probably build whatever you want just by farming bearer packs.
That's a great method of getting bearer packs thanks for sharing. :) Farming around the black galleon is great as well since additional chests and npc loot drops. That and you could find yourself a nice named crafting thrall by doing so
TheBayzent the only bearer I would say is really worth killing is the lvl 3 because they can drop a full stack of Alchemical base the others not really I mean yes stone is cool early on but later in the game killing bearers for stone and wood is just not worth it very inefficient
@@nbricks7 Depends on what you do in the game. If you build, stone and wood is more important to get in bulk. I usually use alchemical base only to minor quantities, if I find a 500 stack in a bearer pack that's usually enough for me last a playthrough. So a L3 bearer pack is more useless to be than a L1 On the other hand, I ALWAYS find a use for more stone and wood, there's always a new extension to my base or make T3 pieces. I admit you are somewhat right in terms of efficiency, you might get more stone mining near Sepemeru, but that's extremely boring.
1. Light attack of Daggers of Nameless Days as well as the Thousand Bites cost less stamina than other daggers and make the light attack while overencumbered a better method of travel than the backflip. 6. All bearer thralls have fix spawns, found one of them once they will spawn there every time. The camp with the most bearer spawns is the Den with three. 8. The fragment of power boxes spawn randomely after server restart within first 12 hours which is the reason why it's very difficult to find them in single player (but Conan Wiki has all the locations).
The wiki says the decorative metal skull only gives 8112 XP, which is still quite a bit. Another way to gain an incredible amount of XP is to craft some functional warpaints (over 90,000 each). The ingredients are fairly easy to get if you collect some demon blood from imps and some dyes from Darfari loot. And of course the warpaints give you buffs when you use them. (Purely decorative warpaints don't give the massive XP, they have to be the ones that have demonpowder in the recipe.) Probably the hardest thing for a newbie player to get is fur for the brush. All the animals you can harvest fur from are kinda scary except for a wolf puppy. Gorillas and apes aren't too hard to kill though, really. Just learn to dodge their attacks and bring food to heal with. You do have to be level 42 to learn functional warpaints, and by that time killing gorillas and apes shouldn't be that challenging. It's usually not too hard to get to level 42, gathering mats and crafting tier 2 or 3 building materials and doing journey steps will do the job pretty easily and quickly. Crafting each tier 2 foundation gives 904 XP, each tier 3 foundation gives 6898 XP. You can also kill exiles and Darfaris along the river pretty easily and steal their loot. If you acquire a thrall early in the game it's preferable to go on killing sprees with your thrall following you. The only way your thrall levels up is if he/she is following you when a kill happens. Don't worry about sharing your XP with your thrall. Each of you earn your own XP from the kill and it doesn't matter which of you does the killing. If you're looking for something for you and your thrall to kill for XP, choose wights (glowing skeletons). They're at several places on the map, some near obelisks you can teleport to, and they're not too hard for a player and a new thrall to take on, as long as you don't take on too many at once. They give 18000 XP each, and areas where they spawn always contain quite a few so they can be efficiently hunted. Skeletons are similar but give only 16200 XP.
The way I was checking on the decorative skull was different scenarios and calculating the XP I gained, it always came to the number I gave or a tiny bit above so :) I'm not 100% if the wiki is right or not! However you got some really good tips here, thanks for sharing. These are good tips on levelling in general, plus having a levelled companion works the world of wonders in many scenarios
7:56 F... PS: On a serious note, I love this kind of videos I have like 300 hours on conan and I'm always picking up new stuff that I didn't know. Specially that tip #4!
That Decorative Metal Skull exploit works only if you have T4 thrall in your artisan bench, without the thrall you need 5 hardened steel bars to craft it and get only two back when breaking it.
As a novice player of conan exiles, and in single player, videos like this help me a lot. English is not my native language, but more or less I understand everything ;D
Sharing some tips: 1. Using vault to move stuffs inside base. It is possible to access vault storage from any direction, so build a vault in the middle of your base. Put all your workshops close surrounding the vault. From now on, you do not need to walking carrying your stuff between workshop to workshop anymore. Take stuff from a workshop. Dump them to vault. Walk empty handed to the other workshop at the other side. Take out the same stuffs from vault. Dump them to the targeted workshop. A vault is 3 level high. If you think 3D, you can build your base 3 level and surround it with 3 level of workshops. 2. Easy way to harvest ichor. If you put 50 rotten meat into a Press, it will produce 1 ichor. I know it sound not efficient, but lets think like this. Built 10-20 fluid press, and carry them with you to undead invested area, bring a cleaver along. Spread all those press around the undead invested area and start killing local undead. Use cleaver on their remain, you will get tons of rotten flesh, dump them to a nearby press. Move on to the next undead area nearby. Undead respawn quickly, you should get a lot of ichor once you make one full round. This tip will especially work very well in the isle of Siptah where spiders are spread thin while undeads are heavily concentrated in certain area. Build your base and spread your press around the ruin city of X’chotl or new Luxor, you will never run out of ichor. 3. After the latest patch, Short sword is super effective against undead and Bosses. Short sword is the only weapon that can stun skeletons.

Some good tips there. Couple of other things you can throw in the grinder - fangs (and maybe claws) give bonemeal, severed arms/legs give bonemeal and blood (human flesh in the fluid press also a very good source for blood). I've also found another way to move when over-encumbered, not 100% reliable (mostly because I haven't figured out exactly what triggers it) - basically if you start moving while holding a pick then, while continuing to hold the move key, tap the hotkey to put the pick away, it often switches you to the standard jogging speed instead of the slow walk. (Probably works with other items in hand as well, just I'm usually holding a pick when I get over-encumbered and do it by accident, lol.) Just don't change anything else once it's started, don't draw any other tool or stop for a moment, and it can let you jog all the way to where you're going.
I've been playing Conan Exiles for the better part of 3 years, and even I wasn't aware that we could deconstruct the skull and get a full refund for easy XP.
I think teaching people to cook unappetizing fish is bad advice. They can be squeezed 1:1 for oil, or cooked 1:1 for ichor, however, unappetizing shellfish can also be cooked 1:1 for ichor but cannot be pressed for oil. So the best advice is to cook shellfish for ichor and press fish for oil
Thanks for all the tips Kiah. The shellfish trap, specifically those shrimps give you ichor too if cooked. Which you probably know already. The crab and crayfish I haven't found uses for except to cook and eat. Thanks for all the useful tips. Keep being awesome.
So kind of you to take the time and effort to help out your viewers. Thank you very much! Also, I enjoy your voice so much! Your voice and personality together make it such a pleasure to listen to your videos. :)
Kiah, one other thing about the unappetizing fish, cook them up in a fire and get your ichor, then throw the cooked fish in the press and let it rot. After it hits a certain number (depending on the server or your game settings) it will get turned into ichor, again. So, like the game my wife and I play on, we take 25 rotten fish to get one ichor.
A really good early game tip I find is to take all that Feral Flesh you can get from mobs is to put it in a dryer to make dried meat instead of cooking into shredded roast. It may not be the best food out there, but it lasts a LONG time. Great to bring along if you're gonna be away from your starter base for an extended period of time.
Btw the fastest way to get tar is by going to the savanna getting elephant hide then put that in the armorers bench and make thick hide you will get three per hide and then make your way to the tannery and make the leather over loading with leather is not a bad thing actually very good you will use it a lot in your game
Your no8 Kiah I would advice before you do fragment of power runs to go and get the climbing gloves from the tallest point in the game. The reason I say get the climbing gloves for those Fragment of power for normal players with no admin powers is the stamina required to do a full run for fragment of powers some climbs are to stamina draining and would just fall to death. You can get the climbing gloves right near the Brimstone pit, just look east and look for two massive towers that is rock, one peak will be taller than the other, there is a guy at the top, if you have a frag of power though even better but you can get the normal gloves of climbing. If a normal gamer does that climb within standard play then make sure your stamina is high..
Tier 1 stone branch Wood tier 2 blood Bones feathers ironstone very small chance on 50 weatherd skulls tier 3 alchemical base branches crystal Wood small chance bark tier 4 Highland berry Bush seeds hops seeds Iron bars tar small chance for aloë seeds and Golden Lotus seeds
I found that the Daggers of a Thousand Bites are good for when you're over encumbered, they use less stamina on a light attack (but more on a heavy one) so they're not particularly usefull in combat but will help you get around with the sweep when you're over encumbered. a guaranteed drop from Hosun the Fang a Set priest in Sepper Meru who spawns quite often by the Set altar there.
Havin this will help in my god painful official server play. Really needed to say thanks though for the other video about the daggers using their bleed effect has helped me through my days so far not fully still getting killed but does help 1v1
#3 is also good for weapon repairs. For instance, the player can repair a tool for, let''s say 15 of the required metal bars. But a T4 blacksmith can repair it for half that. Just drop the tool in the blacksmith bench and click on Repair.
I just stumbled upon this game a week or two ago, and your channel has been an amazing resource as I try to make sense of the mechanics and progress through the game. Great content, thank you :) Also, what armor is that? I like the top and skirt
hi, nice tips, i am from the beggining (may 2018) in this game and still learning in grinder use cristal for salt for thralls use blunted javelin, light attack :) nice work with this video
Hey man, nice tips but not sure if you know about these. Thick leather mats for starter heavy armour can be farmed from black hand pirates as rhino hide, but repairs uses iron bars and leather, cooked fish and shellfish can be dryed and used for spicy fish combo recipe required from the lone fisherman at sepermeru mini island, dragonbone weapons are only below kinscourge weapons but beats flawless obsidian and starmetal weapons and easily farmed from baby dragons.
Dragonbone weapons are what have been saving my ass since my luck with Starmetal drops is shit and enslaving Cimmerians gets boring as hell after a while.
New player , leveled up fast to lvl 60 haven't spent points on strength at all only on encumbrance 20, vitality 10, grit 10, survival 10, I've been trying for the longest to tame a thrall but I keep on killing them instead of knocking them out no matter the type of attack I preform special or normal attack. What can I do???
Are you using a truncheon? (Can be made via torturers table learnt via wheel of pain) Those come in several different qualities, if you also stick a blunting on the truncheon you should barely do any damage just pure ko
greenhornet510 have you set the player damage really high? If so turn it down, at level 60 with good armour a weapons 2 should be plenty of damage and you won't be killing npcs with a truncheon
Started playing the game a few days ago. I'm hooked. The grind is real and there is soooooo much stuff to do and make. Love the videos. I'd never think of half this stuff. I was face palming last night after I realized I get salt by just putting stone in the grinder haha
Some stuff is ridiculous for how obvious it is yet it seems arcane at first. I can still remember my face the first time I discovered you could make spice with plant fiber...and suddenly, the North stopped being scary.
I forgot about ichor from fish!!!! I've been slowly killing spiders on Siptah and just pressing all my unsavoury fish for oil lol. Great videos on your channel, thanks for the content.
When you put wood in a dryer you get 2 dry wood per 1 resin. Harvesting wood in the Highlands will net you resin as a byproduct just like sticks, bark, and wood.

Yeah Kiah on fire a a 12k base hp thrall :)
I was thinking of a flaming sword or axe.
Kiah Firebrand as a Volcano fighter thrall. Redhead with a lore book nearby to teach you a recipe of sorts. That would be hot. :)
I played since shitty release and still learned something new. Thanks
#3 is also good for weapon repairs. For instance, the player can repair a tool for, let''s say 15 of the required metal bars. But a T4 blacksmith can repair it for half that. Just drop the tool in the blacksmith bench and click on Repair.
For #1 I would use well timed Light attacks. Uses less stamina
I just stumbled upon this game a week or two ago, and your channel has been an amazing resource as I try to make sense of the mechanics and progress through the game. Great content, thank you :)
Also, what armor is that? I like the top and skirt
Glad to hear it! The armour is kambujan top, lemurian warrior skirt, bejewelled jewellery
Your growing so fast
It's crazy! :)
hi, nice tips, i am from the beggining (may 2018) in this game and still learning
in grinder use cristal for salt
for thralls use blunted javelin, light attack :)
nice work with this video
Hey man, nice tips but not sure if you know about these. Thick leather mats for starter heavy armour can be farmed from black hand pirates as rhino hide, but repairs uses iron bars and leather, cooked fish and shellfish can be dryed and used for spicy fish combo recipe required from the lone fisherman at sepermeru mini island, dragonbone weapons are only below kinscourge weapons but beats flawless obsidian and starmetal weapons and easily farmed from baby dragons.
I do, but those are really good tips also so thanks for sharing! :)
@@KiahOnFireOfficial yes I am , a truncheon it's what I'm using , should I re start my characters and try in a lower lvl??
@@greenhornet510 the first skill in strength (15 pts) gives 100 % to power to knock down a thrall, it helps a lot !
@@KiahOnFireOfficial thank you , I just had to be patient and not hit as often as I was , I've managed to train 2 thank you so much 😁
greenhornet510 have you set the player damage really high? If so turn it down, at level 60 with good armour a weapons 2 should be plenty of damage and you won't be killing npcs with a truncheon
Love Conan❤️❤️❤️
Great vid 👍 just started Conan, also love the bio charity bit 😊 subbed
Awesome! Thank you!
My friend and I play this game since 200h and we didn't knew most of this! Besides the Fish giving Oil... xD
I forgot about ichor from fish!!!! I've been slowly killing spiders on Siptah and just pressing all my unsavoury fish for oil lol. Great videos on your channel, thanks for the content.
Very happy I found your channel. I have learned so much from your tutorials, and the let's play i am binging is very cool.
Thanks :D
Hey KiahOnFire, Thank you thank you thank you.. That's really cool! All these tips are amazing and greatly appreciated.
Keep it up.
Thanks! Will do!
The tier of the bearer effects what you get out of the supply crates
Wow, so much info in one video! Thanks this helped a lot.
Always the best tips 😉😊😊
Do you use some kind of voice modulator?
No im just weird
Your videos are great you help so much and you go in depth while still breaking it down simply
Thank you
She likes the word “underrated”
That's just underrated
KiahOnFire 😂 👍🏻
Tons of good ideas! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I needed this lol 🤣 so thanks
great movie :)
What armor is she wearing?
Wow this was really helpful
Great video! Nice tips to give new players, I think I pretty much knew about number 1 but the others not really :P +1
Amazingly helpful tips. thanks so much! def dropped a like. Im a new player playing solo. always harder solo so these tips have been super helpful
I, stupidly, never thought to use oil as a fuel source. I’ve got TONS of it
arent those supply packs from a mod?, in vanilla they never drop something like this
They're vanilla not modded
Is there an easier or more efficient way to mass craft steel reinforcements?
That final tip is something I wish I would've known... Since I think I already explored everything and was about to move on into ARK.
This game has some sexy players! It makes me feel young & sexy again. Ahahahah!
I've been using coal in my furnace and i didn't know i could get tar out of coal.I have a shit load of dry wood.
Dry wood is amazing as a fuel, but Iam kind of reluctant about using it because I'm always in dire need of insulated wood. So coal economy for me.
@@TheBayzent I had more dry wood than i could use so it worked out great for me.
When you put wood in a dryer you get 2 dry wood per 1 resin. Harvesting wood in the Highlands will net you resin as a byproduct just like sticks, bark, and wood.
3:10 You had the ratios of fish to oil in the fluid press backwards. Unappetizing 10 to 1 and exotic is 1 to 1
Nice work
What hair mod do you have? I need to know it’s awesome
barbarian barber ! :)
im running an encumbrance build so i dont usually worry about being overencumbered
Good stuff! Thanks!
This was very helpful thank you for making it :D
Thankyou :D Glad it's helped!
Fragment locations is helpful
Who would use Coal for tar is that a thing ? it take way to much I I would just rather farm deer and get it like that ?
Thanks that was helpful
Great tips although some things have changed.
The fish in the fluid press for instance.
Your character has some sick hair! How'd you get it?
Barbarian barber mod!
Good video so far I had to stop watching to comment that when you say bearer thralls the captions say bear afros. I guess the visual have me a giggle.
Good advice here.
Wait a Minute, could you dulpicate fragments on x10 server with the skull?
I like your character’s hair is that a mod?
Were can i get the axe you have at minute 1:00 🇨🇱🇨🇱 ty :)
why dont you just tuck and roll when over encumbered. i always to that. dont usually have to go very far anyhow
What outfit do you have on? Love how it looks. Love the Vid's still helpful in 3.0
Can’t tell if the person talking is a young boy or a woman
It's a young woman.... Or are you just prepping for when the FBI shows up at the door? 🤣
what song is that at the beginning
You can also take the bearers pack and use it yourself.
What top is that?
Kambujan top
*I fell asleep watching this and it gave me a weird dream where a leprechaun was chasing me and I cant seem to outrun it.*
*cool vid though. I learned a lot about the game.*
........
You are very easy to listen to
Why is no one asking how can she fly?
magic
Crystal in grinder gets salt to
Yes, but stone is much more plentiful.
But crystal is for the boum boum funtime balls 😥
Anyone looking to play online just to chill, build, battle and/or try stuff out let me know
used less stamina to use the light attacks.
Well crap. I have put loads of things into the press, but I never tried coal. I'll never drop another piece of coal again
@Goat Man
I knew about the blood, but I had been using it (plus ash) to make the potent compost
What outfit is she wearing?
I've played 4,000 hours of conan, I have ascended.. I have learned all there is to learn >:O There is no more for me to learn, I am KING of the barbarians!
What to is that?
I wish you didn’t sound like you do, great video though.
I feel bad but, they sound like a 12 year old boy.
I keep reading these comments and now I am seriously worried...is my cojntry the only one that doesn't castrate kids? Because she does sound like a she...
Yo
Yo
i've been using all my chrystal for salt dammit hahahaha
Love the video I’m starting to stream this game would be amazing if you drop by and help me out
