I agree. Don’t need to pay xtra bennies for a wooden box. Love to grab this but gonna pass. Model railroading is expensive enough without paying for something useless
Is this a new engine or a time capsule talk about first impressions but it’s not worth the price if it was that special of an engine I would rather get the normal package and build my own box
layout is kind of at a pause due to increased work/home responsibilities. I model primarily UP and NS. The layout will reflect UP territory around Wyoming and Nebraska on one end and on the other end will be NS territory of Northern Georgia and Southern TN.
James your not going to believe this, but I seen the prototype, in 1974, it came through here on the Amtrak Mountaineer.
Iam a o gauger but I like to get this one.
Expensive bubble wrap? I like expensive stuff! Great review and model as always, James.
Excellent review as always, Thanks
Paying extra $50 extra for wooden box is not worth of it. I wanted to buy this but then I decided not to take it.
They are tossing a bone to the collector crowd. This is a quasi-collectable. We will see in ten years time how much it's worth then...
