When we stop believing the lies about how evil is Russia, that you listen its music, read its history and learn the language, you can't stop falling in love with Rossiya
I don’t think most people believe Russia to be evil. I think people despise it’s government because it’s been so heavily communist-Marxist for so long. The culture is interesting as heck. I’m sure many Russians feel the same about their government. Their lives are so much worse for it.
@@rodeljagad8127 Russia was socialist. Now it's a hardcore capitalist country ruled by oligarchs. And this homicide regime established by the Western advisers in the 90s is the reason why many Russians hate and distrust the West today.
Which government in the world truly loved by its people? Which government truly works for the good of its people? Politicians are the same all over, they only care for themselves.
@@rodeljagad8127 It's not that Russia is evil, but they are cursed with evil governments. Under the Czars they virtually enslaved the Russian people. Then after the Russian revolution they had about two minutes of a relatively good government. Then they were cursed by the Communist government. Then in the 1990's it looked like they were heading for a more liberal government like the rest of Europe. Then that got derailed by the oligarchs. Is it any wonder their music is so happy and their lyrics so sad.
You rode on a troika trimmed with sleigh bells Far away I saw a flickering light If only I could follow you, sweet lover My soul would be weeping so this night. Along the endless road, the silver moonlight glows I sing a song to pierce the silent black So let my voice ring far, my seven string guitar And let my lover's song answer me back Lai, lai, lai... But my love did not respond with music Our tender song was finally at an end Though our nights together were in darkness I'd give my life to spend those nights again Along the endless road, the silver moonlight glows I sing a song to pierce the silent black So let my voice ring far, my seven string guitar And let my lover's song answer me back Lalalala Out to the great unknown, we venture there My destiny shall not be at your side Though I'll forever sing while your sweet sleigh bells ring My love, your troika's long since passed me by! Along the endless road, the silver moonlight glows I sing a song to pierce the silent black So let my voice ring far, my seven string guitar And let my lover's song answer me back Lai, lai, lai...

I found the following translation on the Internet The long road (Translation) They were riding in a troika with bells, and in the distance there were glimmering lights. I'd rather go now with you, my dears, I'd rather distract my soul from the yearning. Along a long road, and on a moonlit night, And with that song that flies away with jingle-jangle, And with that ancient, seven-stringed one (guitar) That tortured me so much at nights... Living this way, without joy, without torture, I do remember the past years and your silvery hands in a troika that flew away forever... But it turns out our song was futile, In vain we burned night in and night out. If we have finished with the old, Then those nights have also left us! The days run on, multiplying the sorrows, it is so hard for me to forget the past. Some day, my dear, you shall take me to bury (dead hero to the cemetery) Out into our native land, and by new paths, We have been fated to go now! ...You rode on a troika with sleigh bells, you've long since passed by!
