What? This drummer is crushing it. They've sounded pretty lazy & uninspired over the last bunch of tours. New drummer + the whole band is bringing a ton of great energy. I love it & can't wait to see them!
@@sweettlover123 Just to clarify… the drummer is serviceable, but the intro and fills that SG laid down on this track in particular are iconic, and should not be reinterpreted. Almost like Kenney Jones replacing Keith Moon.
@@thebmc5969 Man - I feel like Gorman's playing on the first record is the serviceable thing! I don't really feel like he/they got to a really creative place until the 2-4th records. I for one am digging the energy of this lineup a lot. The last few BC shows I saw with the previous lineup were kind of snooze-fests.
Steve Gorman is irreplaceable and a huge part of their sound. All this is is a classic rock throwback tour. It sounds good,it's fun, relive the 90s for a night. I remember my parents going to see grandfunk in the 90s and there was one original member and they were old, same deal. I really like it, don't love it.
Big improvement from the band they had in '19 on the Stern show. Sven is in and this drummer is a huge improvement from the one they had in 2019. Chris is dancing and prancing... It's ok...
