Really liked the way you showed the testing, telling us your experience while showing the performance was perfect. Last CIVIVI I bought was the elementom button lock for the great performance, and this one looks like a great edc performer. Great video
Great job on the review. Very thorough, not many reviewers are showing the knife cutting they just babble on about how “awesome” the knife is. Keep up the great reviews.
I came to comment about the way you did the testing with the voice over talking about it. This is something unique in the knife reviews and I’m all for it. Im sure it take some time to edit the video that way but really brings a different dimension to the videos. Overall great job on your content and keep up the great work.
I pronounced this great knife the same and my wife corrected me. The blade is amazing and it already knocked the conspirator out of the pocket. Looked for conspirator wharncliff until I found out this was a completely different knife. I like how they edge low so you could start sharpening basically putting your own on after it starts to go dull. Always enjoy cut tests keep it going.
That’s a real tuff one the Chevalier has a better action and blade finish but the Conspirator is a little more hand filling and has a more versatile blade shape so you can’t go wrong with either but if I had to choose it would be the Conspirator by a hair as of now
@@Stassa23 Is that pick regardless of price, or factoring in that the Conspirator also costs $10 because of its Nitro V blade? I know personally that while the Conspirator might be ever so lightly better overall, I'm struggling to decide if it's worth spending 15% more.
@@Stassa23 Thanks for the clarification. I know sometimes it's worth it to spend extra, even if price is a factor, but it's nice to know that these two are close enough that it's not the case here.
Welp, it’s official… I just bought the same exact one! That stonewash looks 🔥 and the black g10 with black hardware really sets it off, super clean looking. Plus I’m not a big micarta fan and I’m curious to checkout civivis g10 because I’m really only use to Spyderco and hinderers. Can’t wait to get it in my hands! 💯🔥
@@Stassa23 I’ve watched every one of your reviews since way before I started my channel brother, I have the run down!! I think you have some of the best reviews out there btw. But yeah I’ve heard you say that many times so I’m curious to see what I’ll think about it considering I don’t mind grippy g10! Keep killin if brother, look forward to chatting more in the future, you were one of my largest inspirations to start my channel! Much respect! 💯👊🏼
Good review brother 👍 I kinda want the damascus one for a fancy everyday beater work knife( if that made sense to you, well you know what I mean) but wish it came in something other than wood.
@@Stassa23 Have never had a Civivi with wooden handles, why are you not liking it? Does it have known durability problems or is it the ergos? I think about getting it with wooden handles and I unfortunately cannot go to a shop to test it out
Only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on this knife is the steel. I've owned 14C28N knives before and found I was sharpening them nearly every day. If they had to go for a budget steel I'd much rather have D2 or 154CM, they both seem to hold an edge way longer in my experience.
I have pretty much given up on Civivi. I get too many knives with defects, overall poor performance like very weak detents etc. When you get a good Civivi you get a great knife. Unfortunately I get more knives with defects than good knives. So I will only buy a Civivi if I can actually see it in person and put it in my hand, no more ordering from online retailers. Civivi has some real quality control problems. I think they have just gotten too big.
Dang you must be like me and have the worst luck when it comes to knives lol. I’ve been luck with Civivi so far but I just hope that doesn’t change. If you ever see a WE or Civivi that you really like just let me know and I can check my local shop to hand pick it for you because they just recently put in another order of Civivi and WE’s
Kizer, civivi and more all look nice but I still just hardly don’t trust Chinese quick prints. Around $30-$50 sure, maybe. Once they start getting over $50 for em I’ll just go with a reputable brand that manufactures their product in a country with at least some ethical manufacturing practices. Had good luck with Ontario knife company for cheapies. Utilitac Joe knife off Amazon was cheap and has been a great knife.
Thanks so much like always Mr Stassa 👍

I love the performance of the button lock Elementum I just wish they would make it with a thumbstud 👌
I love this knife. You have the best knife reviews cause you actually show test footage. Keep up the great content
Thanks for your support 👍
I just ordered this knife. I haven't had a quality pocket knife in a long time. Thanks for the great review
good testing! just picked up the damascus steal one for some flare. I expect it's performance to be slightly less
🙏RESPECT🙏 Thank You Knife God!!! Your content and delivery feels organic and genuine👍

Lovely knife, mine is on the way, satin and wood 😊
One of my all time favorite Civivi offerings. I own two including the Damascus/ Cuibourtia?...and the black g10 version. Luvem both!
Damn I’m getting one! I love the blade shape that’s just my style! Great review as always! 👊🏼
Great review as always, enjoy this style of testing. Much better than the split screen in my opinion. Crushing it
Thanks for the feedback, I like this way a lot better also even though it takes a lot longer to edit but I don’t mind if y’all are enjoying it
Great knife but the blade has always looked like it’s missing something to me.. weird. Maybe thumbstuds or something.
Thank u for the review. I can see this in my weekly rotation!!

Quality review Stassa. Completely agree that the skinny fuller was a big miss, especially right after they nailed it on the Conspirator.
Great review. I dig the testing format.
Loving mine, laid it back to 19 and holy cow it is so much nicer than the factory edge. 👍
I reprofiled mine today to 17 dps my go to edge angle unless I plan to beat on it then I usually put a 20dps edge. 👌
Another fantastic video
If you had to choose between the CHEVALIER and the Conspirator which one?

There g10 is now where near as grippy as Spyderco’s however I don’t like it super grippy because it shreds up my pocket and my hands 👌

What an absolutely astonishing overview and demonstration video
Thanks I appreciate it 🍻🍻
Great video tons of useful information!
My button-lock was sticky out of the box as well. I'm hoping the stickiness goes away eventually.
Great vid!! Tks

I have yet to see one knife with wood handles that doesn’t look tacky to me. I have no logic for that.. just always looks bad.

I would say Civivi regardless of being made in China is pretty reputable these days. BTW most of the Ontario Rat knives are made in Taiwan.
