I can't get the controller to connect. I have a genuine PS4 controller and ESP-WROOM-32 ESP32 found on amazon. I used the library and sixaxis tool just like in the instructables. Any ideas what is going on? Do you think I just need a different ESP32 board?

Try once by erasing the flash memory of ESP-32.
