  • Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Debuting in 1970 and deriving its name from the famous city, Monte Carlo, nobody knew it would lead to six generations spanning nearly 40 years! The Monte Carlo was dreamed and developed to fill a new roll for the Chevrolet brand. It was actually marketed as the first ever personal luxury car by Chevrolet. All GM intermediate-sized cars including the Monte Carlo were downsized for the 1978.The 1978 model had more interior and trunk space than the earlier 1977 model. Putting the power to the ground is the optional 305 cubic inch small block v8. Backing this small block is an automatic transmission. This Monte Carlo is painted in Light Blue, with a matching light blue interior. Options on this 1978 Monte Carlo include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cloth Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Seatbelts, Tilt-Steering Wheel, T-Tops. Start up the ignition and the small block Chevy rumbles to life. Pull the shifter into gear and this sporty Monte Carlo floats down the road. Don't hesitate to put this T-Top Monte Carlo in you garage today!

This car looks killer with those rallye wheels, put an LS1 engine in it,close the hood and go have some fun. Nice Monte!!

Yeah this is cool. Not sure about the powder blue though lol. Probably prefer my silver or a nice Navy blue. Or a custom Color. If you did a white outside with stripes that might be the ticket.
