For those wondering why this game starts with a boss fight, it picks up right at the last boss from the first game because the first game ends with a cliffhanger.

What a good freaking game this was, I was the kid with the Sega Saturn in grade school. I remember kids going on about Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider on the PlayStation and Super Mario Bro. 64 on the N64. I was like yeah that's all well and fine but how about Clockwork Knight, Astal, Scud, Nights, and since Tomb Raider was on the Saturn too that was the only thing I had in common with the other kids as far as gaming went.

Seriously. Saturn was awesome! I love psx and n64, but Sega Saturn holds a tight grip on my childhood more.

@@MANOFGOD9000 and I would consider Fighters Megamix my favorite saturn game by far. That game was definitely segas answer to kof and tekken at the same time.

I remember playing the demo of this on the sega saturn demo sampler disc back when I was a kid.
Few years ago i played fuul game on emus, the study stage boss drove me nuts to almost rage quitting.
Overall i still enjoyed both parts and would like to see a remaster of the game someday from Sega.
It was great growing up in the 90s. Miss those days 😊😊☺

Clockwork Knight 2 immediately picks up on the cliffhanger left by Clockwork Knight. Chelsea is safe and sound, but will not wake up. As the toys not under the spell ponder just what to do, Chelsea is suddenly kidnapped again. Thus, Pepper again sets out to rescue her. Clockwork Knight 2 uses identical gameplay to that of its predecessor, right down to using all game same items and having four rooms with two levels each, plus a final boss. Clockwork Knight is a video game that was released for the Sega Saturn in 1994 (1995 in America). It got a sequel in 1995 (1996 in America) simply called Clockwork Knight 2.

Fantastic for a 32bit game, the models, the shader, the texture, in a high resolution, we dont see this in a PSX or N64 game.

They say the saturn cant do transparencies effects yet it can when you know how .. however ... there is a level in this game where its the green house or bath house ? With an amazing steam effect which is fully transparent,it covers the forground and backgroundgets darker and lighter and thicker and thiner .. iv actually never seen this effect in a 32bit console game

It's just more complicated on the Saturn. Programmers either didn't have the time or know-how to get it done. There are more examples of transparencies.
