It's amazing how in my mind it looked much less "synthetic" than it it's. It's been decades since I've heard it last time, maybe my mind "improved" it over time.
I used to play this game with a beloved aunt when i was a little kid, she was like a mother to me, but she's not here anymore... You are not the only one, good memories bring tears of happines!!
This makes me cry because it hits a nerve within my kidish heart. So many memories of escaping bullshit and gaining new scores with my mom. Love you ma
This theme is beyond close to my heart... it's been with me literally my entire life. My mother used to play this game when she was pregnant with me to get over morning sickness.they say at one point I would kick to the melody. Since then I still find time to sit down and play this game be it with my mother or just alone. I have to say it is somewhere in my top favorite games ever same goes with this theme. So nostalgic...
@Myster key, back in the day Pizza Huts tended to have 2-3 arcade machines in them. The ones where I live had Mortal Kombat 2 in them, with the blood turned off of course. Godfather's Pizza had Mortal Kombat 1.....with blood turned off as well, truly disappointing.
This instantly takes me to the pizza place I used to go to in town that had free arcade games. Puzzle Bobble, SF2, POW, that WWII airplane game. Good times.
I'd always run out quarters to dry my clothes when ever there was an arcade machine inside of a laundromat. So, I'd usually have some damp clothes that I never dried and it's all thanks to Puzzle Bobble. Thank you, Puzzle Bobble.
Omg, finally found it. I played this a handful of times somewhere I tagged along to while the folks played at the pool table. I’ve had it stuck in my head ever since. ❤
i remember listening to this at a few key moments in childhood/teen years and it always makes me happy. the stupid sound fx in the background really make the tune.
I miss playing Puzzle Bobble down at the local laundromat or swapmeet (You can find this game at just about every laundromat here in Los Angeles nowadays).
@@That_Lady_Charlie I wanted to respond to you when I got that notification (I made that comment on my backup channel) because as someone who lived in South Central LA for a long time, I can vouch for your statement. I love me some Puzzle Bobble and Metal Slug. 😊
I remember when my mom did unfinished laundry at the coin laundromat place in Temple City Ca back in late 90s and there was an video game arcade and this game was there and metal slug. My dad had spare change and play puzzle bobble and he put some spare change for me to play metal slug 1. Gosh thats over 20 years ago!!!! Oh the memories and I remember the music the most.
I used to play a disc full of game demos on my PS1 when I was little and there was a Puzzle Bobble demo on it. It only had a few levels, but I'm played them over and over again all the time and the song was a large part of the reason I did. I miss those simple times.
This gets me back to my childhood... going to the beach, swimming, playing in the sand, blinded by the bright sun, going to a bar to get ice cream, seeing various arcade machines and one of them being this one... Sigh, I miss those simpler times and arcade cabinets.
My memories of playing this game with my brother competing with each other. Such good times. I remember i really liked the mascots of this game. They're adorable.
It's amazing how in my mind it looked much less "synthetic" than it it's. It's been decades since I've heard it last time, maybe my mind "improved" it over time.
Me back in the early 2000s hearing this in arcades made me happy 😁 I did played Puzzle Bobble once, back in a mall on Surabaya and once at Poins Square Lebak Bulus
The memories, me and my family would go to an arcade place at night after having dinner at the center of my city, my dad would always play this game and the tune would always get stucked in my head.
This song haunted my childhood and cost me so many game wins. I'd be on the final Street Fighter boss and this would come on and loop, making me lose because it broke my damn concentration. This was in every arcade. Still is in alot of them around here. It's like I can't get this theme out of my head for good.
Oh God the memories this brings back. I used to skip classes and spend time in the local shop playing this on the arcade machine, it was so addictive and i still play these games today, i never got caught once lol
My dad was the ultimate at this! Also, my grandparents had a PSone with a very similar game on it. It will remind me of my paternal family. I suppose I was closer to them anyway :')
I remember when my older half-brother played the arcade version at a laundromat in the late 90s while eating chocolate donuts and drinking chocolate milk.
If you don't smile when you hear this song you have no heart.
Lol
dude set the youtube speed up to 2x and you're become feverish of too many colorful balls
This reminds me of when I would have to go wash laundry and I had spare time which was spent on metal slug and this
Same with me; I blew through my quarters at the laundromat between this game and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
Anaheim?
Mc Donald's?
Hol the fuck up, it was the same thing for me
They still have a NeoGeo MVS with this and metal slug in a bar down in Jersey City, great fun with a beer
This song is so permanently printed on my mind I'll pretty much call it the music of my life.
Same. Every now and then, this song will pop in my head out of nowhere and I'll have it stuck for the rest of the day
It's amazing how in my mind it looked much less "synthetic" than it it's. It's been decades since I've heard it last time, maybe my mind "improved" it over time.
