Chelsea, the Clockwork Fairy Princess, wakes up all the toys as midnight. Sir Tongara de Pepperouchau 3, or Pepper for short, is a toy knight who is in love with Chelsea, but is quite clumsy compared to his fellow knights, especially his friiendly rival Ginger. One night, a mysterous force kidnaps Chelsea and hypnotizes some of the other toys to be its minions. If Chelsea isn't rescued, the toys wil never be able to live again since Chelsea is the one who wakes them up at night, so Pepper and Ginger set off to rescue her. The second game's premise is pretty much the same as the first one, with Chelsea getting kidnapped again and Pepper and Ginger going bacm into action to save her. In both games, the player must go through four rooms, each containing three levels (two normal levels and one boss level).
As a kid i thought the silence during the tallying of points after each boss fight was supposed to be a time for somber reflection, since the bosses were corrupted/brainwashed according to the plot and didnt deserve to die
Bought this along with Panzer Dragoon when the Saturn was launched back in May of 95. And then a month later, when I went to see Pocahontas at the theater, they had a trailer for Toy Story, and I remember thinking that the game and movie were somehow connected.
Imagine if Sega remade this series. If they maintain the level of charm and improve on the overall gameplay some, it'd probably be terrific (granted, this was always a pretty solid platformer to begin with).
I remember seeing this game around the saturn’s launch - and HERE WE GO THE NEXT GENERATION ... but it’s just another platformer, 90% of the gameplay may as well be on a 16 bit system. Same as the original GEX, really, just C+ platformer
True, but Sega Saturn was way ahead of its time. Better then Nintendo and Playstation. You can play Online with other players and it had great 2D and for everyone that didn't know the Saturn was made for 3D it had some gems. Tomb Raider was original only on PC and Saturn. But Now when people play game consoles it belong to PC, Xbox and Sony Playstation. Nintendo will probably won't be around in the next 10 years. You can only play Zelda and Mario for so long.
I haven't see anyone upload it, but would love for you to do the secret alternative exit on Attic 4-2 on a motorized bookshelf before the goal (where the platforms go up and down).
@@Zontar82I know I'm YEARS late on this shit. But I think the style is actually kinda cute. Maybe It's because I've seen WAY creepier stuff in CGI, but along with the upbeat music, the artstyle is actually pretty charming in my book. It reminds me of Pixar's earlier works like in their demo reels.

This game is a very comfortable mix of “Ya like jazz?”, “To infinity, and beyond!” and “It’s-a me, Mario!”

Plus it would work great on the Switch in terms of appeal. It so makes sense, a shame it gets ignored by Sega.

A bootlegged cheap toy story game that is a cheap knockoff of toy story.
This predates Toy Story by about an entire year. It’s similar in concept, yes - but it’s not a knockoff.
