Exploring Hopi Ruins & Camper Repairs | 2024 FindUsCamping Crawl

Welcome to Day 16 of the 2024 FindUsCamping Crawl!
Our adventure continues as we fully immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of Homolovi State Park. Today, we explore some of the fascinating Hopi Ruins, taking in the ancient architecture and learning about the Hopi people's incredible legacy. It's the perfect way to wrap up our stay at this beautiful state park.
Our journey to Verde Ranch RV Resort started off perfectly. We enjoyed the scenic drive, soaking in the stunning Arizona landscapes. However, about 30 minutes from our destination, we encountered a hiccup. We looked back and noticed that the roof on Mike's camper was blowing up in the wind.
Quick thinking led us to make an emergency pit stop at a nearby rest area. With teamwork and some quick repairs, we managed to patch up the roof just enough to get us safely to Verde Ranch RV Resort. Despite the unexpected challenge, we arrived in high spirits, ready to continue our adventure.
Tomorrow is a day we've been eagerly anticipating all year. We'll be heading to Phoenix for a stop that promises to be one of the highlights of our journey. Trust us, you won't want to miss it!
