I read somewhere that Suh was so dominant on the D-line that Nebraska played a dime defense essentially the entire 2009 season because they didn't need the linebacking help. The fact he didn't win the Heisman shows you can't take that trophy seriously and how lazy the voting has become. @andressandoval9043 I've met Suh several times, even grilled for him and a few other teammates. He's done some messed up shit with his time at Nebraska.
He also brought the Lions zero playoff wins and zero division titles. You really wanted to give him a $114 million contract? That didn't work out well for Miami, they went 22-26 with him and also had zero playoff wins. Since they were going to let him walk the Lions should have traded him before his contract was up.
Ronnie Lott was like that between the lines. One year one of Lott's teammates told him Phil Simms was shit talking Ronnie before a playoff game between the 49ers and Giants when both teams were at their peaks. At some point in the game Lott's teammate pulled him off of Simms and told him he made it up because he was afraid of what Lott was going to do. He said it was actually scary watching one of the best defensive back hitters of all time trying to punish the Giants on every play.
