Once a certificate of destruction has been issued, it can not be undone. Unless done in error by the original transfer. The vehicle can not be insured, registered, or legally operated on the streets or highways. It can only be sold for parts, scrap metal or used to rebuild another vehicle.
The one with the heat damage looked like it had tremendous potential, no rain leaks, roof could of been easily fixed. It was comparable to new inside.
Pretty exciting, to say the least. Looks like a beautiful camper, for sure.

Smart guys to take such huge risks with salt water flooded campers. If I were them I would just resell these things as is with a salvage title or if it does not need too much work, get it inspected but don't do any of the cosmetic work and sell it for more to fix it uppers who will find out the cost and availability of replacement parts are far higher than what they expect. I had my mobile home salt water flodded during Hurricane Ian and it cost me over $40.000 to repair it and it still has problems. I probably should have put a match to it.

In my state (VA) I think you can buy, fix and register a COD title vehicle for your own use but if sold to a third party they cannot register/title it for on road use. Maybe my recollection is off or in SC it is different. Hope you guys don't run into any problems.

Salvage pop up home in Iowa. Only 7 miles but the slide out did...
I been hosted in one of these RVs in Miami but in the personal the perfect size for me are the ones which are small or mid size that are like a bus type to can go around the county the only thing I don't like are the gas stove I prefer an electric one more safer.

Since you don't have tags on it (or any state inspection if required) do you have to get temp transport tags from CoPart or DMV prior to taking it down the road or do you just cross fingers not to get stopped by the man? I'm so confused. So if the RV/5th Wheel has a Title of Destruction, does that mean you have to dismantle it and you can never get it reinspected to get it back on the road? Or are you allowed to move it once to a property to park it and then it just can't go back on the road again? Trying to buy an RV and this is my biggest confusion on these titles.

What lot are you at? I picked up a car a couple weeks ago from the Clewiston FL sub lot. Unbelievable how many cars, trucks, rv's were there.

Sold them. I believe recar sold the hellcat that they changed the color on. Atleast they had 1 for sale that looked just like it.
Best advice is to remove Copart markings and their ID sticker. Every Cop and State Trooper around auction yards knows what you're up to unless you have a dealer plate

I had thought about a COD camper to place on something like a weekend getaway property. I don't see how you could sell this with a COD. T
I would think you would open your self or your business to enormous liability or threaten your dealers license. Am I missing something that enables you to transfer the COD vehicle to another person, or is only for permanent placement as I thought of doing personally?
It's sold as a parts only with a bill sale not for road use
