Let's Hunt Penny rolls for wheat cents, varieties, Proofs and error coins!
In this video, I'll be hunting a box of Pennies for Wheaties, Indian Head Pennies, cool foreign coins, copper and any errors and varieties I may find.
This box produced NOT ONLY an IHP ender, but another 107 year-old penny as well - plus others!
When I hunt pennies I don't just search for Wheaties and Indian Head Pennies. I also am not just a Copper Hoarder either. I look for double dies, error coins, and other variety coins that could be hidden in the rolls. As you know - it's rare to find a super key date for any coin in circulation, so your best bet is to familiarize yourself with the error and variety coins as those are normally not as easily spotted and you can still find some GREAT FINDS out there.

Awesome ender. I've went thru hundreds of penny boxes. 1 time (sadly) i found a magic box like i see on here. It can happen. Must have been from the coin machine at the bank but i found 122 wheats and 6 indian heads. The oldest was an 1871 i freaked out but omg the back was worn almost off. But still was a crazy box. I got 1 box of pennies and 1 box of nickels the other day. The penny box was awful (4 wheats!) but in the nickel box I found a 1900 v-nickel!

I feel like everytime I see a really old coin in good shape it must have came from someone stolen money from an older person who has been collecting it for a long time. Hopefully not always the case. I had found a few old $1 silver note in our tip box at work and that was my fifst tought, that someone raided their grandmas collection.

How often do you find Indian head pennies in boxes? I'm a new hunter, and planning on getting a box of pennies and nickels in the next few days.

What do you with double wheat penny's of same year and extra coins from hunting?
Very nice penny ender ! :) do you roll your coins before returning them to the bank ? I got a $25 box of pennies today (found 10 wheats) and would like to know what is proper when returning them to the bank. They have a free coin star machine but I feel bad causing the bank to re-roll them.
I don't re-roll pennies, but I do re-roll all other denominations. I take the pennies to a coinstar. It costs about $2.50 to do it and that's cheaper than re-rolling and taking them back, at least to me.

I used to hunt Chase, but now I usually hunt SunTrust/Truist or whatever they are called now.

Just got 67 wheat enders and 3 Indian head enders. 1 box from small bank! I'm not opening it, going to store it in my closet! Went to ask for more but they said that was our last box. No shipments till early June.

I know how you feel. I have several 2005D un-opened rolls that I have saved since 2005, possible speared bison. I know it's different because it's a Indian Head Penny ender. I have given a couple of rolls away but cant get myself to open them.

I haven't found an Indian Head in penny rolls in a couple of years. Last I found I think was an 1898 that was in roughly G-4 grade...common date and not great shape but still fun to find. I hope yours turns out to be a rare date like 1877, the holy grail of IH's.

I picked up a box of Wells Fargo pennies after watching your videos and I found a 1925 wheat penny and some 1940s but are S pennies worth keeping because I got 1970 and 1969 ones.

I've found two Indian cents in rolls while working in retail years ago. No enders--just in the middle waiting to surprise someone!

Love watching these. The box I got at my local Key Bank last week had 32 wheat cents in it. The best was an XF 1919-S that looks great.

Oh btw I had an Ender when I was first starting out collecting (about a year ago) I was just learning the ropes about coin roll hunting and my Ender was a 1950 Canadian King George (Thank God I took pictures... I'm cleaning an Indian head right now found one and ain't gotta date some kind of gunk on it, I put ketchup on it probably ruin the value but it's driving me nuts kinds looked like a 1881,never had an ender though!! Cool find open it, I'm excited even though I know this is a really old video!!

I got a 1999 P DDO and a 1994 D DDR from bank rolls. Both are MS 64-65
where you get this coin boxes?
Strange cus I usually get an average of 2 silver dimes per box. And for pennies I get almost no wheats. I've never been wheat skunked but I don't get much

I was going through some extra change, and I found a 1954 penny with a Washington memorial reverse. Can someone tell me if this is uncommon?
Maybe the date is altered? Idk, but it's definately extremely rare if it is actual.

I've found one Indian Head ender in all my hunts....I was at a random location of my Credit Union on my lunch break two years back. I asked for $10 in pennies; they had to go to the back...teller came back out and I could see it in her hands before she got back to the counter. I had to hold back my smile....A 1905 Indian Head! And a 1908 was in the same roll. Really enjoy your channel. Cheers from Portland! 🍻

Searching through a drawer in my house I found a a 1943 and 1954 Canadian pennies
Never found an ended but I did find a 1899 in a roll
