The number of players has increased almost fivefold in the last few weeks.
We encourage anyone who is interested to play.

@@Flashieq I think it turned out fine so far. But I spend all my time on Dayz now.
@@illidur I think it's the problem with the engine, since they can't optimize everything properly at the moment. I used to run medium-high settings myself with 100+fps and now I have 20max while in a firefight with everything turned down. Idk, I like the game but it's frustrating
@@Flashieq 20 is way too low to be normal. Something is wrong for sure. My hardware isn't very good and I don't have that issue.

Played so much PR back in the day, I'm talking over 8-9 years ago. Amazing to see it's still being updated, might have to jump back in!
I think the change from the blood vs just black screen wasnt super great tbh. I get the point, but I more find myself confused to whether I'm being suppressed or hit. Its probably a thing to get used to, but the clear indication of blood splater on the screen edge was clearer to me atleast.
I mean... Couldve been more realistic, many people have stated that during adrenaline rush they didnt feel much when they got shot

Yo The Troubles would be great for this game.
Close quarters urban combat, people can place car bombs for ambushes, Snipers and all that jazz.

That sounds like a mouthful to solve. But yeah, I have a gaming laptop with proper graphics card where PR is unplayable, where something like Arma 3 runs surprisingly well to my great confusion.
@@ChrisG140907 Yeah it's gonna be difficult for them as it runs on the BF2 engine. It might even be impossible. But who knows. The devs are hard working they might actually make it happen.
It's on an old-ass engine, you ain't gonna see any optimization.

Imo the update is really great especially the HUD. But I don't like that wounded screen was changed from blood to blackout. Sometimes I couldn't even tell if I was getting ambushed or wounded.
Anyway, great map, great update. Nice work. Been enjoying this game for years and I hope more players will join in, and my suggestion for next upcoming maps I think you should try some war thatres set during Proxy Cold Wars in Africa. Like Congo Crisis, South African Border War, Angolan Civil War, Rhodesian Bush War, or Mozambican Civil War. I think that would be a good new settings because it seems that we had already too many ww3 modern maps.
This is looking incredible. I think it’s my time to come back to PR after all these years.

Squad devs should be ashamed of themselves, charging 44 euros for a game that doesn't even work properly versus you my legends that just keep on giving the amazing content basically for free. I'm coming back and definitely considering to support you with little donation, you deserved that and much more! Keep on rocking!
Im about to join in, last squad update just killed the fps, but hey you can see muzzle flashes, it doesnt matter you cant get above 70 (from 130ish) fps with 3070ti

I joined around the early 0.90 era, and I remember the golden age as being 0.95 - 1.1 or so. After Squad came out and PR basically died, I also left. Seems I'll be coming back. Nothing beats PR.

I've never played Battlefield 2. I haven't even gamed in the past 9 months and shooters for much much longer. Alright, i'll be downloading it later and check it out. This seems open world which i already like.

I suggest adding in the next update to add a helicopter - KA-52, KA-50 As well as the army of Ukraine, Iraq, Iran, and Brazil. And in addition to this, add all the updates to the Tutorial, because some, like me, do not pull the Internet to play online, I also propose to remove from Russia the ability to use only AK-74M Black, and add new weapons to them in some whales of weapons, like those of povstavnets, and still very much I want to see in the game the mechanics of the sight as in ARMA 3 for airplanes and helicopters, because I use this technique very often in the fight against bots. I also really want to see new textures of weapons and sound, since both things hit the ears and eyes. Especially the AK series, it wouldn't hurt to ruin all the other houses, too. And in this to fit new models of both people, weapons, but also models of equipment, but sounds can also be made softer for them, to make a new interface of the sight and the driver's interface in tank, btr, bmp, and brdm

I wish the bleeding system is nerfed a bit. When you bleed out last time, at least you can still fight somewhat, nowadays its a death sentence.
