I loved how Spock would turn such mundane incidents like doing a head plant on some furniture by offering a graphic and scientific description. " The occipital area of my head, has seem to have impacted with the side of the chair!" Priceless😀
Seeing how many little bits of Leonard Nimoy are floating around here on the internet is a comfort of a kind. His loss seems to hurt a bit less for reliving why I so admired him.
1:01 - "I shall certainly give the thought all the consideration it is due." (pauses, gives Kirk a "Yeah, right.." look.) In reality, Leonard Nimoy gave the character of Spock ALL the consideration it was due and more; he worked hard to make Spock more then a standard alien and he was always at the top of his game in this series.
@@ThePenguinKowalski You could just change the line: Spock, the men on your planet are logical. That is the only planet that can make that claim. And now it’s even funnier. 😂
The first time I watched "That Which Survives" and Scotty said,, The feel of the ship is wrong, alarm bells started going off in my head. The ship feels wrong to the chief engineer? Something is not right. Something is vibrating in a manner that is not usual. "I feel no vibration." But the engineer does even if it is on a subconscious level. He knows that ship better than he knows his own name. If the ship feels wrong to him, then there is something not right with it.
No, that's not really true. There are other actors that have been great Spocks. Nimoy is the original, the genuine article one might say, but the fact that of all the Strek cast, his character survived the most intact is evidence of Nimoy's ability to create such a lifelike character
Spock: In that case, Mr. Scott, I suggest we start at once. Can you give me warp 8? Scotty: Aye, sir. And maybe a wee bit more. I'll sit on the warp engines myself and nurse them. Spock: That position, Mr. Scott, would not only be unavailing, but also...undignified.
To me the creator of Star Trek was brilliant for developing the character of Spock. He was unique, not really a character type that was done before except maybe as a minor character scientist in the background
"Take D'rActanian here to sick bay." But one line that ALWAYS makes me LOL is during "The Deadly Years" when they're old an in Kirk's cabin, and Spock tells Kirk that he's turned command over to Commodore Stocker and Kirk says, "Stocker? ARE YOU CRAZY!!!???" realizing he's talking to SPOCK made that hilarious.
Spock lies like a rug when he chooses to or needs to.... He's the one who starts the lie that they never listened to Kirk's last orders, & McCoy joins right in on the ruse....
Spock is quite the sarcastic bastard isn't he? Bad 3rd season writing to make him so condescending for an easy laugh. The character still has integrity beyond reproach but imagine actually having to serve with him. Ugh. So abrasive.
Spock wasn't the same after McCoy's brain refit. In series 3 episodes there were relationships with the Romulan commander, Droxine and Zarabeth. I wonder how Spock's character would have developed in a fourth series?
Fascinating that McCoy received only one promotion during the entirety of the ToS shows and movies (from LCDR to CDR). I believe he's finally an admiral in the pilot of TnG.
Remember he had a break in service. He had left Starfleet for a while. Kirk used a supposedly little known clause of Starfleet service and had McCoy reactivated to active duty.
really enjoying this star trek: original series via the 60;s,,,and the Spock thing,, ALL the lonely housewives secretly where in LOVE with Mr. Spock fyi xoxoox
3:56 time stamp....although humorous and one of my favorites, it was illogical for Spock, because (as he himself as has stated in other episodes) "Vulcan never lie" (nor do they bluff).
William Shatner hosted a special documentary about how Star Trek influenced and inspired our current celluar and computorial age. I wonder if it can be watched on RUclips?
I don't know who scripted that episode, but Spock seemed more sarcastic/short-tempered than usual. My favourite funny quotes from him are in that episode, but I think he might have just been due for Pon Farr ;)
Sir, there is a multi-legged creature crawling on your shoulder.
I loved how Spock would turn such mundane incidents like doing a head plant on some furniture by offering a graphic and scientific description. " The occipital area of my head, has seem to have impacted with the side of the chair!"
Priceless😀
He says it like he sounds so puzzled that it happened too. 😅
HAHAHAHAAAAA! HILARIOUS..YOU CAN'T BUY STUFF THIS COOl..
I shudder to think what "Star Trek" would have been
without the brilliant casting of Leonard Nimoy as
Mr.Spock. Some really classic stuff here.
Another good season three line (From "All Our Yesterdays"):
Spock: We're in a wilderness of arctic characteristics
McCoy: He means it's cold!
1:04
The follow up lines were the best in that scene:
Kirk; "I'm not sure, but I think we've been insulted."
McCoy: "Oh. I'm sure."
Seeing how many little bits of Leonard Nimoy are floating around here on the internet is a comfort of a kind. His loss seems to hurt a bit less for reliving why I so admired him.
"Extreme feminine beauty is always... disturbing, madame."
lol
You said it, brother.
"Spock!"
Spock does have a sarcastic side that surfaces from time-to-time in a detached and unemotional way.
I love Spock being sassy. RIP Leonard Nimoy
+Dayna Morris :(~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why did you have to remind me.
I will attempt to Live long and prosper as you have wisely taught us Mr. Spock.
The coolest guy in space.
I LOVE THIS COMMENT I EVEN SCREENSHOTED IT LOL
RIP Leonard Nimoy 🖖🏻
@Lewis 970 your logic as usual is infallible
I Bet the deep space miss Mr spock
Indeed.
I love the banter between the doctor and Spock.
Bones:”He’s not dead...as long as we remember him”
Mr. Spock: "The occipital area of my head seems to have impacted with the arm of the chair"
Gets me every time 😂

I was like "Wait? Sarcasm? Damn." I didn't think Vulcans had it in them tbh.
What?
@@ilikelobsters.2376 Well he is half human so his emotions spill out every now and then.

There is so much to learn and love the original series of Star Trek.
Leonard Nimoy - Your life was one that truly prospered in many ways. Thank you for all that you gave to us your fans.
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
We will miss you spock, bones and scotty
That sort of banter between Spock, McCoy and Kirk is unique to TOS. Star Trek has never been funnier.
You can clearly see that they tried to do something similar in the beginnings of the Voyager series.
That’s high quality acting :D
Mr. Spock was fucking hilarious. People don't remember that usually. Thank you for this video.
She laughs at 2:51 when Spock say's, " The occipital area of my head..." LOL
Every time I watch these compilations I remember why I love TOS so much! Ageless and priceless.
Well stated i couldn't agree with you more
“Spock, the women on your planet are logical. That is the only planet that can make that claim.”
I’m ‘ded’ as they say these days.
@Rob M Probably. And that's a shame because it's a damn funny line.
MN Irwin it’s still sexist though.

The entirety of Vulcan would probably agree.
And this is why my brother-in-law says I'm a Vulcan.
maybe that was a compliment?
Farewell Mr. Spock, we will miss you and your logic T-T
I saw a Q/A with Shatner and Nimoy. It wasn't like you would think. They were joking and laughing. I think they genuinely liked each other.
I always loved that lifting of the right eyebrow Spock used!

OMFG i just died XD
SPOCK will LIVE FOREVER in the 23rd CENTURY of our COLLECTIVE MIND !!! AMEN and NAMASTE !!!
3:36 it kills me that even the navigator and helmsman are like “did he just say what I think he said”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
With all The snappy comebacks, witty remarks and outright jokes
And they say Vulcans don’t have any sense of humour😂
RIP Leonard Nimoy the one and only Spock!
No, that's not really true. There are other actors that have been great Spocks. Nimoy is the original, the genuine article one might say, but the fact that of all the Strek cast, his character survived the most intact is evidence of Nimoy's ability to create such a lifelike character
Spock's dry humor.......lol.....Legendary.......A bit ironic, that the most stoic character , had the funniest lines.....That is the magic.....
"The women on your planet are logical. That's the only planet that can make that claim"
I can't even be mad bc I'm laughing too hard
As Louis L'Amour said through one of his Old West characters: "Women ... there is no logic in them."
R.I.P LEONARD AND SPOCK I WILL MISS YOU
Spock, "Vulcans are incapable of lying". Also Spock, "We never had time to view the tape".
Amazing that Leonard Nimoy was not type cast. He looked more real as Mr. Spock than as a human actor.
"I'll advise youse to keep dialing, Oxmyx."
A PIECE OF THE ACTION.
baby boy. tiny man. i love him so
Exactly. After watching TOS it was made clear that Sheldon's character is based on him. No wonder he adores him so much!
No wonder I'm a confused kid; I'm a mix of Spock and Scotty 🤣
Spock: In that case, Mr. Scott, I suggest we start at once. Can you give me warp 8?
Scotty: Aye, sir. And maybe a wee bit more. I'll sit on the warp engines myself and nurse them.
Spock: That position, Mr. Scott, would not only be unavailing, but also...undignified.

I will give it all the consideration it's due (none). LOL. I stole that line and have been using it for 20yrs.
I wish i could have learned English with Mr Spock 😅💁♀️ not only he was a fine mind but his pronunciation was Top 👍 👌

Season 3. That whole season was hilarious. Unintentionally so.
A shame that he's gone but glad these shots look and sound great. He lived a full life. RIP Leonard Nimoy and all those who have passed.
Spock has a lot of good one liners in that episode.
Mr.Spock alway’s had an answer for everything!Cheer’s!
spock loved these moments
The Enterprise Incident; And technically, Kirk has Romulan ears in that episode. Survive and Succeed!
"Ah know what time it is. Ah don't need a bloomin' cuckoo clock!" 😂

Data did that too. He simply said " You'd look like a clown, Mr Scott"
2:48 scene had me in stitches
Gotta love sassy spock
I still say that Nimoy was suffering from a cold during the filming of "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" He sounds like he has sinus congestion.
I was thinking the same thing.
2:20 Spock: wow way to c*ck block captain
4:30 absolutely hilarious
