It's funny how Kirk stole clothes in The City On The Edge of Forever that perfectly fit he and Spock. It's also interesting that the setting of 1930 Earth was actually a year before Shatner and Nimoy were born. They were both born in March 4 days apart. That makes for an easy friendship.
It's fascinating how communicators eventually became cell phones. And in All Our Yesterdays those disks in the Library that had recorded images of the planet's past became in years to come, DVD's with moving images.
@@annehaight9963 well I grew up in the 60’s and Star Trek wasn’t on our stations where I am when I was little. It started when I was 7 and ended when I was 10. I didn’t see the show until 1972 when I was 13 when it finally came to my area and had to use a UHF converter to bring it in. Obviously no such thing as Cable back then. Wonderful that people invented those things. But there is a difference. I seriously doubt those inspired inventors of the mobile phone had any clue that too many people can’t put their damn phones down for a second. They text instead of actually writing a letter with pen or pencil. And now some talk to someone with ear bud thingies and it looks like they’re talking to themselves. Kids don’t need a mobile phone since they sure as heck don’t pay the bill. In my time you went to your friends house, called home on landline so your parents know you’re there safely. My brother had his own landline, said he’d pay the bill, stopped, and my parents literally ripped the phone out of the wall never to return. Mobile phones are great but overly depended on.
If he didn't go back to Genesis to get him they could have charged him with reckless endangerment instead of conspiracy, assault on federation officers, theft of federation property namely the starhsip enterprise, sabotage of the USS Excelsior etc....
Nice to see good ol' Kor again. Imagine if Kirk had survived on Veridian 3, or even the hull breach on the Enterprise-B, and both he and Kor were reunited on Deep Space Nine (Kirk a retired Starfleet officer, Kor as Dahar Master)... That would be a trip through memory lane. Throw Worf and Jadzia into the mix, and it would be fun.
I watch it every night before bed. (I even turn the color off and watch it in black and white because we didn't have a color TV back then.) Been watching since I was 5. It was getting harder to find. Used to have a VCR collection Lost it along with 99% of everything. This posting keeps me going. For about an hour I can try to forget reality and pretend that I'm back in the 60s and my life isn't the train wreck it's become. Every time I watch the final episode I can't believe it is. It was uplifting to read your conversation with Wolf. My regards to you both. unlike any computers, just trying to uplift each other. Jews, Christian’s, whatever, we all share the pain when life becomes a train wreck.. and how about it when you know it’s been your own fault? How can we bare the pain to live with the results of our own errors? I can also find refuge in the good things of our children’s life, watching Star Trek also. I wonder… how can we get to see the entire episodes?? Buying the CDs ? … no other way? … take care. Both Kirk and Spock would tell us to take care and to be strong. 😂😂
Everyone had to learn to develop their characters over time. Even though the original series only lasted several years, the Star Trek concept has lasted more than fifty years. This gave the leading actors much more time to become their characters. You can see the changes different writers gave them in different Star Trek movies. We also had to make adjustments as new Star Trek characters were added or deleted. We as trekkies know what’s expected in the Star Trek universe. Today writers make mistakes in the scripts of the series Strange New Worlds. They obviously haven’t watched past Star Trek series or movies enough to write accurately for bridge officers. I have to force myself to watch Discovery. Their personal stories on the characters detract too much from the planned missions. It’s stopped feeling like Star Trek.
Omg yes!!!That little gap between his lips and that eyes looking like that and also his right eyebrow moved a bit up and quickly down.😍 IT IS SOOO CUTE💕💕💕💕 YET IT IS THE CLOSEST WE CAN SEE HIM SEEKING ANGER IN THE VULCAN WAY AND UNDER NO OTHER FORCE TO DO MAKE HIM SO.❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love the way in spite of Cdr. Kor's denial, He and Capt. Kirk technically do embark on the first joint Human/Klingon mission when Kor suggests they tackle the Arganians together and Kirk restrains him as he feel all is not as it appears.
HOW is it that Star Trek just keeps getting worse. Stories were once written by real authors like Harlan Ellison. Now they're written by nobody's who don't seem to have READ anything, much less written anything!
How I wish I could have a jaunty little flute tune play every time I banter with my friends.

Make it so.
You first need to become a starship officer.
I second that😊
“You’re becoming more and more human all the time.”

The very last scene of Kirk holding back his anger at McCoy is classic
Such a well acted scene, especially by Shatner

"Well it would pose an extremely complex problem in logic, Mr Spock." Kirk knows _exactly_ how to persuade him.
The way Spock says "Really!" to the Portal is simply "fascinating!"
when Spock calculates the odds, the important part is the "point seven"
The best episode. City on the edge of forever. The best line by Joan; you at his side as you always were and will be. Brilliant insight.

Spock is either grossly inaccurate, in gauging probability, or Kirk is the luckiest son of a bastard in the entire galaxy (ies).
