Very good. I'm assuming that you figured this one out by ear. Amazingly good job if that's the case. :D But right before the first verse at 1:00, you're completely missing the sixteenth triplets. Just listen to that part really well. The ones I'm talking about are the ones that come before you jump the octave like under the verse.
Yes this is an old cover, so there are some parts that are either played wrong due to my lack of skill or the fact that I just missed some details. And the fact that I missed the triplets in this video has nothing to due with my picking style, I could and still can play triplets just fine.
Yeah, I ended up buying the FR guitar (ESP LTD KH-202) and I've also decided to buy the parts for a Gibson Flying V, which I'm gonna use for all my drop tuning cause that has TOM bridge. Easier to tune, easier to string, easier maintenance in general. But you're right, the FR is pretty epic once it's in tune!
sorariku2002 It's nothing like that, its like saying "Plays an SG" Because LTD is a product of ESP just like the SG is a product of Gibson. So their was no mistake to Dalek's comment
Anell Swet I'm a few months late, but you're both wrong. LTD is not a "product" of ESP. It's a brand. LTD is to ESP what Epiphone is to Gibson. Plain and simple. Also, there*.
Yeah your right, I saw an other vid of you and you did that fine. Its just that I use to have your picking style and couldnt make those triplets so I had to change it.
@TehOnlyJusTice Basically, I run my guitar through an effects processor and then into my laptop, where I record the sound. There is a complete list of all my gear on my channel, too.
Yes, what you heard is actually quite true, unfortunately. Floyd Rose bridges and tremolos in general are rather difficult to drop tune because the bridge constantly moves when the tension changes, which makes drop tuning, though possible, very time consuming. It's not so much hard as it is annoying, honestly. It's up to you if this will be a problem or not.
Hello guy, I have a question, your guitar is a M-II from Esp, But I don`t understand, your guitar needs a battery ? because it has a ctive pickups, hasn't it? thanks
hey man nice cover. i just had a question: i was thinking of getting a guitar like yours, or similar to yours. and ive heard thats its a pain in the butt to drop tune it and im trying to figure out how. is it really that hard? and how do you drop tune it?
i hate when people tell me to hold my pick differently or play different. I just say "bitch ill play how i want. Theres more than one way to play guitar"
Are you using an amp or using a program (like Guitar Rig) ? I read your gear but I didnt understand. ( Sorry for my bad English :D ) By the way, great job !
+TheFenderrocker Thanks for giving a fast answer. But my question is not how you get the tones. My question is how do you get the sound ? I get the sound from amplifier, do you get the sound from your computer with the programs ?
+Efekan Yalçı All the sounds come from the pedal, I just plug into my computer with a USB cable and record that way. I use the software only for mixing and mastering my songs :)
I like the way you do your power chords. Most of the covers I see of any song, people usually bar the 4 and 5 string with their ring finger. You get a cleaner sound if you use your pinkie for the 4 and your ring finger for the 5. Nice work.
When you use your whammy bar, how do you make it stay in same spot after you use it, I've tightened mine as hard as I can and it still comes lose when I use it. Any tips/help? Cheers.
If your gonna buy a guitar with Floyd Rose, try to use it to a maximum of 2 tunings. I use my for standard tuning and Eb. For drop tuning I recommend T.O.M bridges, they are piece of cake to tune and doesn't bring very much trouble. Floyd Roses are a pain in the ass, and You definitely don't want to mess around going from Drop C to Standard, it just takes a hell of time. And yes, going from standard to drop tuning is a bit tricky sometimes. But once you have your FR in tune.. it's epic!
further I advice you to hold your pick differently so you can make the triplets in the riff. There are lots of videos out here of fast alternate picking
This song has killer riffs
and great cover bdw
i know right?
this album is great...except for ita mixing
Imagine a world where death magnetic came after ...And Justice For All. That would be a place I'd want to live in
That would actually be nice, then have them kind of go out softly with the back album...not sure if I would want them to make any more after that.
omg......
TheBushwooky what about hardwired?
Im confused... death magnetic is 9th album and justice is the 4th. dont woosh me
Chilipeño I think he means right after Ajfa
Such an underrated song
the riff at 1:00 shouldnt the palm mutes be 16th's triplets?
9tao9 yes
Yea they should but oh well
Still works. Dude ripped out a blazing solo did you see that?
Your Metallica covers are great
Great cover. Loved the way you had the actual song volume barely noticeable so I could here your playing. More people need to do this 🤘
This song has prolly 6 legendary guitar riffs before the words even begin, so epic

Calls himself "The Fender Rocker".
Plays a LTD.
Heywood Jablome Thanks! War
That's actually an ESP. That's like confusing Gibson with Epiphone.

Damn good cover

Standard tuning :)
+TheFenderrocker thanks
@vAGENTv0RANGEv No, I got it used for half the price.

excelente cover!
Are you using an amp or using a program (like Guitar Rig) ? I read your gear but I didnt understand. ( Sorry for my bad English :D ) By the way, great job !
+Efekan Yalçı I'm using a Digitech Rp1000 effects pedal for all the guitar tones :)
+TheFenderrocker which software or app did u use to get your videos thogether ?
not necessarily. Seymour Duncans have a fantastic sound as well. Its a preference thing. I personally like actives though.
Yes, all active pickups require a battery, usually one that is 9 Volts. Hope that answers your question :)
What is the guitar?
Александр Трофимов It's an Esp M-II! :)
www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/metallica-broken-beat-and-scarred-tab-s24171t0 for tabs

This is all wrong.
I like the way you do your power chords. Most of the covers I see of any song, people usually bar the 4 and 5 string with their ring finger. You get a cleaner sound if you use your pinkie for the 4 and your ring finger for the 5. Nice work.
Aaaaaa original
I used a Digitech Rp1000 :) Hope that helps!
thats the point of a guitar cover, least we know this is legit
your missing beats in the riff part and the chorus is out of rythm
It's located in the back, in the same spot as the wiring for the pickups, knobs, etc.
great cover but your settings has too bass
Ручка кресла похожа на голову чужого
When you use your whammy bar, how do you make it stay in same spot after you use it, I've tightened mine as hard as I can and it still comes lose when I use it. Any tips/help? Cheers.
what pedal do you used???
My apocalypse plz
