It is tricky! From experience, if someone leaves a deposit and there is a price increase before the watch is collected, AD will charge the new/higher price. If a watch is fully pre-paid and you are waiting for the watch to arrive, it might be a different story. Though I think you have a good ground to ask CH to honour the original price.
If it's fully prepaid for then you have nothing to worry about it. You've already prepaid in full at the original price already. It's yours, you own it already when you prepaid it in full. Had you only left a deposit, you can bet your bottom dollar they would charge you the newer price. Unless they're in a charitable mood and feel like giving free money away by covering the extra $100 - $350 out of their own pocket for you.
Thanks for doing the research. It would also be nice to see a spreadsheet of the changes. Big increase in the two-tone. Not much in steel. I’m glad I locked in my purchases in 2022.
We will see what CPO will really do, I tend to believe all prices will go up, as every grey market dealer will adapt to CPO prices but will stay slightly lower to move the pieces. Then again CPO is nothing but an watch that has been to service, wich they resell and wich you anyhow got 24 month of factory-service warranty. So with this said... after the dip comes🚀 approximately around 2024-2025. Mind you 2023 will be buyers market only.

Hey KC, I prepaid for a Tudor watch at Chisholm hunter, do you think they’ll honour the price?

@@steelsteez6118 thanks man, the Watch I bought has increased by £330

I do have a S/S, perhaps I should have included it at the end of the video!
I'm still waiting for a two tone Daytona. My wallet is weeping...
@@structurescience Since I got it at the AD just before the price increase, I will consider that “I got my Daytona at a discount!” 😉
Exactly what I was looking for thank you. Interesting to see the two tone watches saw the biggest percentage increases. I wonder why?
To narrow the gap between the SS prices on the secondary market and the two-tone models? Just my 2 cents 🫢

Nobody buys the Yachtmaster 2. It's big and the function means nothing to most people, except that of telling time😂
The function is interesting, but I also won't be interested in buying one 😆
I don't like the Yacht master 2 and Deepsea... big and bulky😅😅😅😅
@@johnfu87grits92 "don't like" is an understatement 🤣
TBH cannot buy a Rolex at a Boutique anyway so they can continue to make these prices up as you go along. ;)
By the time we get the allocation, the watch would be 10x the price 🤣
9% increase every January going forward as per my AD 🙄
No way, really?! 🥲
Increased again?! 😂
Yes sadly, at least here in the UK!
