Love how this is like a continuation from when you used this model to talk about more vs less textured models. And now you are deliberately creating your own textures through painting. And beautiful as always!
I love that you also prep models at high level. Sometimes painters forget to clean mold lines, fill gaps, etc, but paint very nicely with that flaws... Your models are always perfectly prepared!
"Now we move on from the ugly stage" 😳 not me thinking it looks so much better than my final stages 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 well done! Loved the NMM finish, amazing stuff, appreciate you sharing this.
Great looking model for a days work, Don. As far as the first miniature your client sent you (the geisha girl), Angel Giraldez did a video painting the same model. You may want to check it out for some good tips.
Umber ink...I've got Vallejo and P3 inks on hand, what would be the equivalents of the Liquitex umber ink in those brands? Sepia ink, maybe? I'm still wrestling with NMM and it's driving me mental!

Thanks Lukas! Honestly I forgot I have another video of this mini. 😅

That patina effect.. looks real!

That castaway green from Cuttlefish is exactly like Nurgling green from Citadel. (except the Citadel one must be thinned a lot with mediums)
Oh thank you for the reference / equivalent 😊🎨🎨🎨
Yeah, that aged copper is beautiful!
Thank you man! 😊🎨🎨🎨
Amazing! This was a treat to watch.

Sepia ink should work or even Flesh wash ink which is more yellowish. 😊🎨🎨🎨
