Bonehead is such a good bloke. Luckily got to meet him watch his band and have a pint with the fella afterwards. Top bloke. Judging by what i saw he deserves far more credit for that early Oasis sound than he gets. Hense after he left they sounded like a totally different band.
Always felt Bonehead was the most musical in the band behind Noel, of course. This guy could play 7+ instruments and was the greatest rhythm guitarist the band had ever had
"We found couple of top secret places that nobody knows" Cant be the only one who thought about Don't Look Back in Anger "Take me to the place where you go where nobody knows"
Always seems like the most down to earth member of Oasis. It’s a shame he wasn’t able to contribute to the songs cos I heard a couple of songs he collaborated on with Liam when they were in Rain, and they were pretty good. He was also a great rhythm guitarist, which seems to be a lost art form these days.
I really hope they don't reform without Tony, I think he did a brilliant job on Def Maybe, tons of swagger and attitude in his playing and kit sound

Back in the DM days, they were such a unique looking band. Male model, male model's slightly rougher looking brother, the balder. older plasterer (wearing a cardigan at times), the stoner on bass and the skinny mop top geezer on drums. I love the DM era and always hold Tony up as being Oasis's most important drummer. You see old photos of the band from the '94 period and you realize that Tony had as much attitude and aloof manc-ness as Liam and Noel. He was a genuine member of the gang and had the x-factor needed. More people need to watch Live By The Sea. He crushed that gig.
absolutely perfectly said sir, Tony was a massive part of their raw, threatening, confrontational sound, I wish he gets the recognition he deserves someday
They tried to get Guigsy to talk when they did the Definitely Maybe 10th Anniversary DVD, but he said no. There's an easter egg on the DVD of them all talking about their memories of being around Guigsy, with the letter he sent in response to their request to interview him - Basically, he grew to enjoy the privacy and a quieter life after he left Oasis, and thought going public again might spoil all that. Fair enoug, but it is a shame he didn't. Even Tony McCarroll did the DVD!
Gee, I don't know about that. My Big Mouth has got some difficult chord changes. If Bonehead was the man who chose most of the chords for the songs, then he has a talent for making great simple music, straight to the point (the songs) without showing off. But I think Malcolm Young was on a higher level of skill. I would be over joyed for Bonehead if he got recognition for his guitar playing and he was put up there with the greats such as Malcolm Young, John Lennon, Keith Richards ect
Genuinely cool, genuinely nice genuinely a living fuking legend. 11th April '94 supersonic was released. I was just shy of 15 listening to all the crap out at that time , then bang there was oasis, never looked back. Maine road to the etihad I can happily say I was there right bang in the middle of it all, the 90's where mental. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Love bonehead. Think he brought a down to Earth and a bit more of a modest aspect whilst the two brothers were off on a mad one - made me laugh when he asked if he remembers it cos the other two defo don’t 😂
Sadly he is right..... There won't ever be another band like Oasis. The music industry has changed so much since then. I can't see another guitar band achieving 8 UK number 1 singles and 8 UK albums, being mobbed at airports, making the front covers of papers, constantly being on the national news for whatever reason, people being filmed queuing to buy their records on first day of release, record breaking gigs, fastest-selling records, and just general love and adoration from the people. The list goes on but what Oasis achieved won't be matched again by guys with guitars in the UK and much of the world. Can't see it.
alreadythere1993 dude no, Oasis without Noel is at best Beady Eye and at worst a goddamn cover band. Its got to be both Gallaghers or neither, full stop.
Lets face it... drummers, bassist, and guitarists.... are interchangable.....As Oasis proved. Noel and Liam were the band. Many youngsters dont even know about the original line up.
I always have news about Bonehead (and i love it), but does anyone know where is Guigsy or Alan White? I mean I've never seen guigsy since 1999 (when he left Oasis), and i've never seen Alan since 2004 (when he left Oasis). I still can't watch the film. So, anyone know if Alan or Guigsy speak on Supersonic? If no, is there any news of them? PS: My fav line-up is Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan (Tony was really good but...Alan is Alan)
Alan's brother Steve said that he became a property developer when he got sacked from Oasis. He's now moved out of London and lives in the country with his girlfriend and 2 kids. Not sure about Guigs though.
Álvaro .CR Guigsy wrote a football book a few years back and was interviewed on football focus (BBC). He had grey hair and still liked Cricket. Alan is a great bloke but bloody lazy. His brother Steve told me he had so much talent but never practiced outside band and got really lazy. Someone also said they saw him once a few years ago and he was really fat.
What a guy ! Top bloke!! I was gutted when he left ( & Guigs ) & it never seemed quite right after. I know Gem & Andy are probably better guitar players but he was a big part of oasis & looking back he did leave at the exact right time. I hope the original band re-unites but I don't think Noel will yet & Guigsy won't ever I dunt think
Unfortunately not yes! If you’d ask John Lennon in the years after the roof top gig if they will get back together he said no unless there a reason! Then the paperatzi came along and oasis thank goodness ignored allot and were rock n roll! Now, it’s impossible to be rock n roll and make it I’d say cos your record label won’t promote you! Gerry cinnamon is the last chance cos he’s does have a record label! However that’s the worry they had in the late 80’s that rock n roll can’t come back.. and look… rock n roll will never die!!!
I think if the reunion took place it would of course have to be bonehead and guigsy but I think Alan over tony I love tony's style but alan adds a whole new dimension to that band
If they were to have a reunion I would bring Gem AND Bonehead back. No harm in having an extra rhythm guitar. As for drummer it would have to be Alan White. As for bass, I could give two shits - Guigsy or Andy Bell, either would do.
He actually looks far cooler now than he ever did when he was in Oasis.
Totally. He looks ready for a reunion
So true 😂
He does
He looks far cooler now..
Liam looks ready for a reunion, Bonehead looks ready for a reunion, Noel looks ready for a family dinner...
Noel said Bonehead was the 'spirit' of Oasis in the film. He is right. Never the same after he left.
Chris Knight those distorted power chords that he played made up a lot of the oasis sound
What if I told you that the whole Oasis sound was Paul Bonehead Arthur's sound??........ Well it was. Directly from a source.
Bonehead was awesome. Too bad he left
@@kevinhouten7953
But his guitar never sounds
We can't hear him live
HE LEFT!?
Bonehead was the only person that mentioned Tony’s name in the documentary. Shows how he actually cared about Tony back in the day.
Liam cared about tony too
@@JustAnotherBlader yea.. Tony and Liam actually tweet each other once on twitter which is wholesome
Bonehead is such a good bloke. Luckily got to meet him watch his band and have a pint with the fella afterwards. Top bloke. Judging by what i saw he deserves far more credit for that early Oasis sound than he gets. Hense after he left they sounded like a totally different band.
Definitely the rhythm guitar made so many of their best songs awesome. 90s Oasis songs were the best for me.
He seems lovely. I've met Liam and hugged him and asked for a kiss. Lol Liam refused the kiss.
Always felt Bonehead was the most musical in the band behind Noel, of course. This guy could play 7+ instruments and was the greatest rhythm guitarist the band had ever had
Bonehead is the ultimate rockstar, full stop.
Hmm. Not really
Don't be ridiculous.
@@sratus shave your stachos and shut it
Bone is a LEGEND
he gets old just look like as ringo star and i'll always love original oasis
john kim I thought on Ringo too! 🤣
"We found couple of top secret places that nobody knows"

"Take me to the place where you go where nobody knows"
Where nobody knows...if it's night or day.... different meaning
He looks more like a rockstar now than he did when he was a rockstar
He IS a rock star
Boneheads rhythm tracks are absolutely mega!
He sounds like Ringo when he was in his 40's.
Excellent interview well executed.Bonehead is a top geezer.cheers.
Bonehead is a legend 🎸
I really like Bonehead, he was cool in the 90s and he still is now, he’s as interesting as Liam.
Liam and Bonehead 🥰😍🥰🥰😍🥰😍🥰
Always seems like the most down to earth member of Oasis. It’s a shame he wasn’t able to contribute to the songs cos I heard a couple of songs he collaborated on with Liam when they were in Rain, and they were pretty good. THE HEART OF OASIS!
I for one would love to see Bonehead and Guigsy playing their songs if it ever happened.
the myth.....the legend!!!!
Holy crap he looks like George Michael now
Yeah mate, haven't you heard Boneheads new album 'Careless frisker'?
Supergrover Great comment, mate!
And talks like Phil Collins
George was one cool looking mo fo, Liam resembles him in a few newer photos too.
Or Ringo Starr.
You fucking legend bonehead
Age has been graceful for Bonehead...he certainly looks a Rock Star nowadays.
we went to this premier...there as no mention of Tony mccarroll who we met walking out afterwards. poor bugger got a rough ride.
Tony got really bad legal advice back in 1999 and his lawsuit pretty much screwed his relationship with all things Oasis. It's a shame.
I really hope they don't reform without Tony, I think he did a brilliant job on Def Maybe, tons of swagger and attitude in his playing and kit sound

quite simply, he couldn't keep time.
bonehead a great guitarist from oasis
Bonehead is the cousin of Craig Cash and it really shows now he's got older they look more like brothers haha
Kelly Broadbent dammit no wonder ! I always used to watch the Royale Family and think he looked just like Bonehead!!! 😂
That is gold, I never knew but now you mention it
He's so cool. Were Guigy, Tony, and Alan interviewed? I hope they showed up.
No Guigsy hasn't done any interviews since he left the band in 99.
Lee Mcqueen Aww thats a shame. I'm sure people would have liked to have seen the others.
Guigsy literally disappeared. Nobody even knows what he looks like since 1999.
Can't wait to hear the solo stuff...
Favorite Rock Band of the 90s, Oasis was 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Can We Get A REUNION PLEASE????
Mad as a box of frogs old bonehead. As Noel said, bonehead was the spirit of oasis.
Boneheads driving rhythm guitar in the early days was right up there alongside malcolm youngs for acdc 👍
Gee, I don't know about that. My Big Mouth has got some difficult chord changes. love ya bonehead man
Pretty much all of the members of oasis look far better now then they did as youngsters.

Bonehead is an absolute hero.
Love bonehead. Think he brought a down to Earth and a bit more of a modest aspect whilst the two brothers were off on a mad one - made me laugh when he asked if he remembers it cos the other two defo don’t 😂
wow, the interview is already 7 years old and a reunion is still a topic or not a topic lol

Damn, I wish they would reunite
DeleriousOdyssey why? The later stuff was tripe
Bonehead was the glue to the Trojan horse, Long May Oasis reign!
Imagine right an oasis reunion and the last song they play bonehead comes and sings boneheads bank holiday
He's right. That version of the band ended at Knebworth. The two or so years after were just a drunken round the world trip :)
Oasis soldiered on for another ten years after he left
Paul was Oasis. I rate his Rain/Oasis tracks.
bonehead is a legend an oasis legend,,, hope liam has him playing at his ireland gigs with richard ashcroft now that would be epic
George Michael was in Oasis?
+gavbkk83 Ireland i know. george michael? ffs. it's clearly ringo!
+olixbob ps and ringo's boy (no not boy george) actually was in oasis for real for a bit. even tho he was wank. just to close the loop
When Bonehead left Oasis lost their unique sound
I don't think so

Chris Knight I have Seen a picture of Alan from maybe 3 years ago he did look a bit bigger.
Thank you for the info, my friend. And another question, do you know if they both appear in 'Supersonic' film?
Reminds me so much of Ringo Starr
Cool guy.
The only man who could put a reunion oasis tour together is Eddie hearn
Camp as Christmas. Legend.

Oasis was started by bone head in the first place
Think he was right to leave at that time. His opinion is totally valid.
But then again I'm a huge oasis fan and loved the last albums

The Ringo of Oasis
Oasis was boneeads band
He's such a manC man lovenit
Amazing lad Bonehead! #MadFerIt
How the f$&k was Bonehead a rockstar?!
How the fuck did your mother not swallow you
i didnt know bonehead played the cello! wtf was he doing in oasis
Whats the story behind Boneheads Day Out?
Facial hair changes someone’s look so much hahah wow
He really was the backbone of oasis
Bonehead and Guigsy proved Oasis players were not expendable, when they quit oasis wasn’t oasis
I'm fairly sure he should call himself Baldhead. He sort of lost the bone bit and gained the bald.
he's always been bald mate. if he grows out his hair it'd look pretty much the same
Stupid questions....”did you ever consider a songwriting contribution” ?
'Didn't get a chance' 'Do you write songs?' 'NO'
Hitman in the background
"Bonehead" is his past, I want to know his real name.
Gary glitter released from prison?
so did domehead help write "Hello" ?
Kinda looks a little like the metal god Rob Halford
He certainly does look cooler, he looks miles better
Oasis was the last big rock band, then rap took over :(
Îles???
Sounds like ringo starr when he was in his 40's
He looks like Phil Colins

Bout time he shaved that hair cut
Not being funny but does bonehead sound like an Iron ?
Where you get them sunglasses Bonehead? Quality mate!

Cool dude

Keep it authentic dude. The fans want Oasis Mk.1, the classic band.
They took George Michael for an interview about oasis? :-)
Wait didn't Bonehead write "Bonehead's Bank Holiday"? Isn't that a songwriting contribution?
Lokomot1ve no , its written by noel
Get It Together Tony, Or, Bye Tony👋
shame they reunited and its just the brothers and not guigsy whitey and bonehead
