Fun fact about this song, when Tech asked Eminem about doing this verse he asked Em how much it would cost and Eminem said "Never mind, just give me a verse in return" Respect.
Unfortunately it wasn't a verse for a song with him and Eminem, Eminem had tech n9ne remix his song "beast" for the movie Southpaw's soundtrack which was an album released under shady records. Em put it together after the original composer for the movie died in a plane crash. The song also features Kxng Crooked and Busta Rhymes, it's pretty fire.
Yeah, thats what I respect and like/love about Em', he just likes to give and has this kind of 'you scratch my back, I scratch yours' approach to these things. Much respect to all artists that do that, this way everyone gives and we get the best combi's. Gotte love it 😁
Tech said he wrote this song exclusively for eminem and nobody else so in the 1st verse he's says writing this was a gamble in weather Em would hop on the joint
Krizz said "the purpose of the pen and the paper is to reverse the conditions I'm living in and do bigger numbers than Eminem." Quite the opposite of shots fired lol.
Fun Fact this beat sampled or at least has parts inspired by "Freedom" by Riche Havens. you can really hear it in the course. a great song with a few artists on it to listen to is "Dream of King" by Krizz Kalico.
Tech will always be one of the independent GOATS. He's your favorite rappers favorite rappers and has made a mainstream name for himself without going mainstream. He collabs with everyone and anytime he features someone or someone features him they know they have to bring their best out on the track if they want to keep up.
It’s crazy how Eminem can hop on tracks with these people who are known for their unique cadence and double timing and Eminem doesn’t look out of place, like Eminem can do this but then give you songs like sing for the moment, then give you songs like darkness where the full songs a triple, then give you a relapse album full of horror story’s, then give you the shock value shit that no one else thinks of or says and also can hop on tracks with jay-z and 50 and just ride the beat flawlessly while connecting the syllables like a master. I honestly don’t think there’s a rapper more versatile or with as much in the tool box as Em and that’s without being biased as I love a lot more rappers not just Em but holy shit mans a genius.
There’s a Krizz Kaliko song featuring damn near every Strange artist called “Orangutan,” and it’s definitely a dope song for sure. It’s some of the specific type of content that I, specifically, would like to see more of. Peace!
Not sure if you’ve already reacted to this, but Wither by Tech 9ne feat Corey Taylor is awesome. The blend on rap and metal works so well on that track
This is one of my all time favorite songs. I love seeing people hear it for the first time. Almost everyone just breaks at Em's verse. It's great, but all artists and all verses fucking kill it in their own way.
IMO, this is where the actual revival started. I remember spinning this track and people kept asking if that was Em; and it almost feels like he's accepted this new persona.
Th hook is obviously inspired by Ritchie Havens “freedom” from Woodstock. Such a solid homage paid to an incredible artist and creator of protest songs. #respect
Out of respect for his fellow MC and pure humbleness to the art of rap. He gave this for free because tech9 wanted Eminem on his last song for worldwide choppers. Mad love
@@ThroughBlindEyesDru1 I LOVE This Ring, but its a hard pill to swallow for first time listeners. Midwest Choppers live is what I show people that havent heard him to get them up to speed.
There is also midwest choppers, worldwide chopper and the speedom. The chorus is based off richey havens freedom. Krizz kaliko is also the one singing the hook.
You should check out Mac Lethal's "27 styles of rapping". Also I don't know if he still holds the record, but he did a 1,000 word rap in 2 minutes a few years back.
The fact Em called Kanye out for the thing he did to Tayler swift an then Beyonce came out on stage and encouraged her to carry on with her career anyone else remember that or is it just me
From Wiki "Eminem's verse measures at: 250 syllables, 25.05sec, which is 9.98 syllables per second." for speedom, whereas the wiki for Godzilla "Eminem's third verse on the track holds the record for his fastest rap verse, rapping 10.65 syllables per second, or 300 words in 30 seconds." so technically faster but just by over half a syllable a second. dont know if someone else already commented this but i figured it was a cool fact to share.
No this isn't Em's fastest verse. I already see people putting lists up for SPS that are completely wrong. Here is an actual list that I have created myself, by hand counting every syllable and double checking it with a syllable counter. Time stamps for each verse are listed as well so you know where each part was taken from. And yes the times are not 100% accurate, they could be off by as much as .3 of a second, but that would not change the majority of the list as it stands. Killer (Remix) 2:55-3:04.5 88 syllables in 9.5 sec = 9.26 SPS Rap God 4:26-4:42 157 Syllables in 16 secs = 9.813 SPS Offended 4:48-5:01 128 Syllables in 13 secs = 9.846 SPS Lucky You 4:51.5-5:10 191 Syllables in 18.5 secs = 10.324 SPS Not Alike 4:08.5-4:19 109 Syllables in 10.5 secs = 10.381 SPS Speedom 2:27.5-2:38.5 115 Syllables in 11 secs = 10.455 SPS Majesty 2:27-2:38.5 125 Syllables in 11.5 secs = 10.870 SPS Godzilla 2:57-3:27 332 Syllables in 30 secs = 11.067 SPS And yes Godzilla comes out to 329 syllables which is 10.967 SPS. Unless you take in to account the way Em says the word "every" (as in ev/er/y) "That's why I'm clever when I put together ev/er/y verse". He uses this pronunciation quite a bit and says it once in this verse. The same goes with how he says finna (as in fit/n/a) which he uses twice. Which adds 3 more syllables in total. So take which every one you may want to use, but either way this ends up being his fastest verse to date.
Oh yeah Krizz is awesome love him, he's been rocking with tech for a long time. he killed the verse and then goes right in to slay the vocals. Just watching you experience this BANGER of a track was awesome. Like I can see you feelin it and trying to hold on, but then eminem came in on some wild shit XD
I feel like it's slower than godzilla 🐲 but the music behind it gives the illusion that it's faster. However, I'm no expert and the beginning of Tech's verse may be faster than Em's.
I think Em is speeding up and slowing down on this track, so he goes super fast for a moment, then pulls back, so he might be faster at peak than Godzilla, but also, it might sound faster with the peaks between the valleys. 🤔
Eminem was born in Missouri, Tech and Em go way back. Em doesn't really talk about Missouri (I wouldn't either) Tech N9ne is a Kansas City, Missouri native. So, there wasn't any shots fired, they are pretty tight. Always have mad respect for each other despite the "latest" ordeal with Tech and Colson on "No Reason". Tech is the GOAT of chopper.
It would be cool to see Tonedeff - Crispy 192 reacted to, it runs at 14.1 syllables per second compared to the 12.5 syllables per second this track runs at.
As to this being faster than Godzilla, set spotify to start playing next song to 12 secs, then play Godzilla followed by speedom, the intro to speedom is on par with the end of Godzilla
Finally. I always wished you would react to this. Fire as always keep your reactions the same and dont change man. Favourite Channel Lately! Also react to "Stay Wide Awake" its Eminems best rhyme scheme ever.
Krizz Kaliko is criminally underrated... A lot of reactors are really missing out on a lot of fire songs. The man can do anything on a track.
