2-stroke engines are almost 1.5-1.8 times heavier than the 4-stroke where in two stroke only scavenge ports and center mounted exhausted valve present but in four stroke there are valves, cycle is completed in two revolutions of crank shaft that means these are of medium speed or high speed engines. @@rohithmandavilli752 in 2 stoke engine piston stroke to bore ratio is high as compare to 4 stoke engine. piston has to move a larger distance from TDC to BDC to generate power ( we can say liner length is very high as compare to bore in two stoke engine) thats why we find such piston rod arrangement in two stoke engine
