Test drove the GXL. Toyota New Zealand Kent Tce Wellington branch. Toyota New Zealand calls it Limited instead of Atmos. But you do get pure leather seats, sunroof, wireless phone charging, HD cameras, and driverless parking mode assist. Limited costs NZ$49,000. GXL NZ$45,000. The parking mode assist would indeed help in tight narrow city streets like Wellington where parking is a premium with limited small spaces.

I got my Corolla Cross Atmos Hybrid FWD , 2 wks ago. I only waited for 2 months to get mine, since nobody wanted the white color, and i was in need of a car for work. Great fuel economy, i sometimes get 4.0L/km fuel econ on a 30-40km drive. I got the sunroof and the spare tyre too. Really enjoying it, and lately i just found out it can run on E10 (which is cheaper than Unleaded 91). I gues i was lucky that nobody wanted the white color - i was hesitant when they called me about this, since I always loved gray or red colors for my car. So far, im loving the white color, looks fancy 😅

Just check your phones unlocked so make sure glances at your face unlocked and then it might auto connect and instant something I found out that’s a bit annoying and it usually fixes the trick when something is just sitting there waiting, but hopefully you’re not trying to use the phone at the same time and you’re not driving and waiting for it to Connect

Toyota NZ aren't even allowed to order them until they get the go ahead from up top, sounded like end of the year after test drinving one last weekend which my partner and I absolutely loved, so we put our name down for one. NZ also here, I test drove as soon as one was available locally (in mid Sept '22) and ordered same day, estimated arrival is Apr/May this year. Email updates from Toyota are far and few between, mine is still at "order confirmed", probably won't hear anything until the factory confirms a production date. I also looked at the new Kia Niro, which was probably a bit more stylish inside but smaller than I expected, when I saw it in person, and the Corolla X a fair bit more price competitive.

I think the new RAV is bigger than I need but the Cross is bigger than my 2G 2005 I'm driving now!
Talked to dealer yesterday (24/01/2023) and he told me the Cross was getting built this month and would be in NZ in March and the RAV maybe a couple of months later.
