I usually have my headphones on and maybe reading a book. Trying to watch a video or show is pointless because you lose signal when your in the tunnel lol
That was actually you conquering your first day at the office. I know people two or three times your age who would just have what I call an adult temper tantrum. But you have a very positive mentality. You just keep going. Your upbeat spirit reminds me of my best friend. Lots of people can’t handle how successful she is. They’re so jealous. So, I gotta tell you, if anyone ever tries to belittle you or patronize you, just know that it’s because you’re succeeding and they’re failing. Insecure people are full of micro aggressions. We feel sorry for them but that’s about it. Keep being a successful, young professional. Don’t dim your bright light for anyone.
BK to Hoboken is a brutal commute. Love how you’re running late and still stop for coffee. 😂 Your first day in so they will cut you some slack. Just keep in mind the competition is fierce here. Get in early and stay late. At least it’s only a couple times a week. Your accent is adorable! Kentucky? You’ve got this!
Hi Lucia 🙂 You look really good in your striped silk shirt. Late on your first day, things will get better, and at least you got your steps in 😂. In the future, you will look back on your first day at work in New York and laugh about it.
Hi Lucia! :) i usually don't comment, but I've been watching you for a few months now and am enjoying the NYC content. I've wanted to move there for a while (and will eventually), but my fiance wants to move to chicago, so that's our next stop! I told him if we move to NYC first i won't want to leave lol
Continuing on here. I was also taking pill form Erythramycin. Accutane has a reputation for possible liver damage. Ur still pretty hang in there u fit in New York!
@@AllisonIntheCity Chicago has a really good public transportation system. Lots of people take the train and Metra from the burbs instead of driving. Parking is $$$. I miss my time there! Everything is tougher in NYC
No, transit is excellent in Chicago. Commuting to Hoboken from Brooklyn is crazy. Nobody does that kind of commute in Chicago. You'd typically live closer to where you work. Not many young people commute from one suburb to another suburb in Chicago.b@@AllisonIntheCity
@@LuciaCordaro Is it though?! It's like a half hour to downtown on the A train because it runs super express. (I don't live in Washington Heights but I have friends who do and it's super convenient for them to get downtown.) It's at least more convenient than living in Brooklyn and working in Hoboken 😂 The village (both East and West) have basically become a frat house for college students.
Oh I’m sure the first few commutes are crazy and scary! 🫣 I’m sure the office bosses understood- I hope! I’m enjoying your journey! Thanks for sharing your life with us! I’m from the Nashville area. But I enjoy the New York vlogs. I’ve never been! Good luck with apartment hunting. I’ve heard it’s stressful up there but can be done!
What do you do on your commute to work?!
Duolingo or reading 😊

Do you have one of those addt’l locks on your fro door? I keep seeing them on IG reels. Different than a deadbolt.
Yes!
How often do you have to go to the office? Will the commute be easier once you move?
About twice a week!! Yes once I live in Manhattan it’ll be so easy!!
@@LuciaCordaro you’re killing it!!
NYC commutes look more complex than Chicago ones 😂 you look like you’re killing it tho
Hahah they can be !! Especially going so far
That's because don't most people in Chicago have to drive?
@@AllisonIntheCity driving is def more accessible! But all offices are p much in the loop, in NYC it’s all over
