This is such a fantastic interview! Hearing from Violette and seeing her studio as a museum professional and exhibit designer was so enlightening as to my own relationship with makeup and how it relates to my sense of curation and collection, the way i design and develop how to display other people's work, whether on my face or in a room.
Wow Violette, you are incredible! This was such a privilege - thank you so much for sharing it! Dealing with those copycats sounds so heartbreaking but I’m so glad it was a deciding sign from the universe to birth your incredible brand! I’m all about emotion so I connected with your approach and products years ago! I love watching your brand and artistry grow because everything has such an impact on me! Amour Fou is the only true red lip that I’ve ever been able to wear. It makes me feel romantic and powerful and mostly like I’m expressing my essence! I love it! I love everything you do. This video collab was the best - you three are amazing ❤️.
I'd love to see more High Fashion-Runway MUA's profiled like Hiromi Ueda of Armani, Gucci Westman, Diane Kendal of NARS, Fulvia Farolfi of Chanel, Hannah Murray of Bobbi Brown, and my favorite MUA of all time Dick Page!
Alexis--your recent brown toned make up look has transformed you 100%-always beautiful and now gorgeous. Love how you and Christina (doctoral prepared women!!!!!!! Welcome to the Dr. Club Christina! ) are educating the community on the unknown to public aspects of cosmetics and the industry! Bravo to you both!!!!
Gahhh, this is so cool. I started watching Violette back before they even launched their brand. So awesome to see all y'all together, and just hearing y'all talk shop 😊
I have never heard of this woman and I want to thank you guys for introducing her to your audience. Violette appears to be a true artist and skin is her canvas.
I have all her balms, Boum Boum Milk, Cest La Cream, Two Jellies, all her cream blushes, and a few of her cream shadows. The perfume as well lol it smells amazing.
After watching this.. as a little artist at home,I feel more appreciated of her work and wow. It’s so relatable. My heart was in joy seeing how she created her products and how infatuated she was with art techniques and famous artists themselves. Such an inspiration! She’s living her dream for sure!! Love love love! Definitely will support her brand :)))) btw, tiktok did not bring me here! Y’all did!
I love Violette!❤❤ I have ALL of her stuff. She was the first makeup artist I saw ( right before Estee perhaps) where I felt like she had my aesthetic. Love her vibe
I absolutely adored this video. Great choice, Violette has such an interesting background with art plus all that time with Estée Lauder! I mentioned it your short, but I’d love to see you interview Danessa Myricks- I took an online class with her once and her creative process is fascinating. Angelina Fraidany would be interesting too. She’s the owner of Sunset Makeup and I’d love to hear you guys talk with about her products and their development. (Especially what witchcraft makes it so waterproof. 😂) Love your content! ❤
I am wondering how her expired shadows would work as paint pigment. I like to use my expired eye shadows as paint and I suspect Violette’s makeup would provide stunning artistic pigments. I really wish some makeup brands would upcycle their expired makeup pigments as paint palettes because the art world could use some expansion in color palettes.
Why is the audio kind of messed up when she talks. It’s almost like robotic and it doesn’t sound like accent. Is it the editing? I really liked the video but the audio was weird.
@@daphnepghil529 I don’t think she was doing this consciously, I think she was just gushing like I was when I met Violette! I don’t mind seeing people gushing. It’s a natural expression of emotion, very much on theme with a brand all about emotion! It’s a natural unedited conversation to me in that regard and I’m all about naturalness and trueness to life. I think these ladies are too. Totally authentic which is why I love them :)
@nadined9282 💯💯 Also, they are not just professionals. They are also fans and artists. I think they show natural and real admiration listening to other artists, whom they admire, talk about their process and inspirations.

That’s amazing! So glad it resonated ❤ It was very special to see in person!

did anyone figure out which brand was copying her style?
Love her makeup and personality! Great to see you with a more “niche” makeup creator. Thank you 😊

It's always fun to see different makeup perspectives! 💕

Wonderful interview. I'm a huge Violette fan - thank you for sharing!
That wooden box collection in the conference room is stunning!!! Would make an incredible capsule collection / holiday collection 👀

I LOVE their bisou balms 💖
Oh I love her! I used to watch her videos a lot and much of it is part of my makeup routine now
So interesting, thanks ladies!!! I'll have to check out her brand.
I hope Violette will launch in Europe 🎉🎉❤
I love Violette❤ thanks for this ❤
Love this and her I want to know what lipstick she is wearing soo bad, its stunning.❤❤❤
I would love to read a book about being inspired by colour & art by Violette
what is the lipstick shade?
I need the red lipstick, also what technique can we do to reduce the lipsize for those with oversize lips?
Alexis, your lips look so amazing! That is really a pigmented, beautiful red!
Her Bisou Balms are literally the only lipsticks I wear these days!

Thank God you added subtitles cause I had a hard time understanding her ...
U dont have to flatter her every 2 seconds omg let her talk..
Seems like an authentic expression of admiration and excitement to me! I love when people express themselves! ❤
@nadined9282 Was too much. I think.
