Breaking: Maryland State House on lockdown

The Maryland State House in Annapolis is on lockdown late Thursday afternoon. Armed officers were seen entering the building. Video from SkyTeam 11, Baltimore's only news helicopter, showed numerous police and emergency vehicles surrounding the State House complex. The governor's office released a statement, saying: "The Maryland State House is currently under lockdown for a security threat. No other information is available at this time. "Staff members, personnel and community members on grounds should shelter in place and listen to directions from any available member of capitol police or law enforcement."
