Took one of these tours about 8 years ago. Tour guide had told us he could not idle, had to keep moving per beverly hills ordinance. He said we where in front of Steve Martins house and almost instantly a white haired gentleman appeared in the front window looking a lot like the comedian. Our guide stopped the van so we could take some pictures, simultaneously the man inside angrily grabbed a phone looking directly at us. I dont know if it was steve martin for sure but i do know our guide received a ticket courtesy of the Beverly Hills P.D. precisely 3 minutes later. Too funny

after watching several of these tours of Beverly hills in the Hollywood area I have to think this is probably the best one that I've seen I can understand what the tour guide is saying and you seem to see the homes a lot better on this video good job
I lived in Hollywood for 4 yrs. Saw more celebrities on the street & in the markets shopping than most. These tours are not always correct but tourists would never know. Locals know where to see celebs & after a while the novelty wears off.
From this video, he got one house right which is Charo. I know, I'm a mailman that deliver in that area. Every time I see one of these bus tour guide, I just laugh.
I believe you Flip! He is just taking their money! He does this tour; when knows that the real owners aren't home! 😄

I live in NYC my whole life. Seeing a celebrity is not a big deal. I see them in Gristedes, Whole Foods & Macys & Bloomingdales. Central Park is a good place to see celebrities early in the morning jogging all alone.

Let me break it down for you: that was never Christina Aguilera's house (she actually DID live in Ozzy Osbourne's former house for about 8 years). Never Jamie Foxx's house. You are free to walk around Beverly Hills wherever you like, except of course on private property, as with anywhere. No one will call the police, simply because there is someone walking. How ridiculous! Never Tina Turner's house. Never Pat Boone's house. 30% of Beverly Hills is not Iranian, an exaggeration. The Beverly Hills Hotel was not shut down during World War II. That was NOT the original portion of the Beverly Hills Hotel pointed out. Polo Lounge is a restaurant, not a bar. Never Janet Jackson's house (someone famous was living there at that time, someone else famous lived there before that, and someone else famous lives there now, but it was never Janet Jackson). Never Clark Gable's house with Carole Lombard, certainly not built in 1940, because that house was built in 1912, so the story about looking like Tara is pure fiction. This same house is frequently pointed out as the Fresh Prince house (which is in Brentwood) or the Benson governor's house (which is in Pasadena), however, it was used in neither TV series. Clark Gable, Michael Jackson, and Elizabeth Taylor are at Forest Lawn Glendale, not the Forest Lawn near Universal Studios, which is known as Forest Lawn Hollywood. Never Tobey Maguire's house. Never Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith's house. Never Beyoncé and Jay-Z's house. Yes, that was the home used in Get Shorty--finally, something correct about a house, but he neglected to say who lives in it now. Never Elizabeth Taylor's house. Benedict Canyon was NOT in the opening of the Beverly Hillbillies. Yes, that is Charo's house--the one and only celebrity home correctly identified during the whole tour, although the pronunciation of her ex-husband Xavier Cugat was butchered. Assuming he's pointing in the right direction up the hill, from that point you can see the hilltop site of the Manson murders, although the original house was replaced. Never Tori Spelling's house, not where they filmed her show. If you're coming into town and want a tour that isn't one big lie, let me know. I know so much about who lives where, you can even ask me about specific celebrities and we can see just those homes.

The tour guide has the most dreadful voice to deliver a very boring commentary, full of inaccuracies. I hope his passengers enjoyed their outing but I doubt it.

One HUGE error, Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton filmed Cleopatra in ROME. It would be difficult to have "trysts" at the Beverly Hills Hotel, while filming in Rome.

You are correct--he was lying about every house, except one. Total rip-off tour by these van companies. They get away with it, because people are gullible and yes, they throw in "For entertainment purposes" to protect themselves. You're better off with a small, private tour of some kind.
@I Me I have a more detailed comment below about this tour. There actually are some spots where celebrities are (or were) neighbors, but he didn't show a single one of them!

That is not Pat Boone's house. He lives across the street from us. Also, that is not the oldest part of the Hotel, it is the addition. Not Gable/Lombard's house. They lived in Encino, not BH. Benedict Canyon was not the Beverly Hillbillies opening credits street, that was Beverly Drive. So much misinformation, what a crappy lying tour guide!

Yeah, i highly doubt all those celebrities are packed in that closely. they have to make a tour that is short enough where they can do many tours throughout the day so they probably have to make up some celeb residences to make sure the tour stays on time and they don't have to drive all over California.

This is a really old video but for the record, Universal Studios is not close to Encino, which is in the San Fernando Valley... have to climb over the 405 to get Universal. Lived in Encino for nine years so I know what I am talking about.

to be COMPLETELY honest i did do and will plan on putting an indianapolis type of home for example 1155 mcdougal street that i did do and will favor the style of in one of these private celebrity locations to go along with the protection that celebrities did do and will need and with a home like 1155 mcdougal street that will cost less money per project and/or all together than a celebrity type of really really expensive home

I was on a tour of celebs homes and we actually met pat Boone. He was pulling into his house and came out to us. Where this guy said pat Boone house was, that was not the correct house.
My friend did these tour guides and hated it. He would make up lies just to hear people gasp ....save your money
