I love your home. I'm a maximalist, also. If I see beauty in an object, I'll grab it up. Mostly at thrift stores and consignment shops. I can't remember when I actually purchased home decor items new. I especially like that grandfather clock. I think that thin clock would be great on a staircase landing. It would give the look of a grandfather clock but not hinder people trying to go up and down the stairs while trying to squeeze past the clock. I want such a clock since I have a staircase with a landing, but the landing is small and doesn't have enough space for the typical grandfather clock.
Fun and interesting. I can relate - art that pleases the eye, the constant desire for change because I can and there is always a way to improve. Thanks for an enchanting tour.
