I've been to Scotland in April this year and miss it so much. Can't wait for you to show some bits of this beautiful country again 😃 As a cooler and cozy weather person I definitely look forward to autumn and some autumn baking
The Original Ajvar coms from Turkey. But it's very popular in the Balkans ( Macedonia, Bosnien, Croatien, Srbien). My mother il law makes a great Ajvar.
The second try was correct, it‘s pronounced Ay-var and my macedonian grandma makes the best one! We actually eat it with bread and cheese so very much the way you ate it for lunch. Loved the how you captured the venetian scenery, thank you!
Gosh please don’t feel you need to apologise for looking a certain way- authenticity need never be excused and anyway you’re great as you are! Living off hobbit lunches for lunch and dinner with the September warmth. 🥵
I'm so happy to see you eating our Croatian Podravka ajvar.🧡 I ate it for dinner today haha. Mild version but that also counts haha. And you are beautiful, you have no reason to make excuses.💜
Honestly I'm not super knowledgable on the cheapest as I tend to go wherever is most convenient for where I live/work. In Venice itself, Coop is usually pretty decent, and Prix and Conad aren't too bad for prices!
@@MaverickBaking you are welcome! There is a lebanese «cousin»of Ajvar, called «muhammara»(meaning red), also made from paprika and has walnuts too. Both taste delicious! :)
Hello Kelley, Don't worry you look fabulous! Will enjoy when you are showing Scotland, my heritage is mainly Scottish.

Nope, not croatian! It's from ottoman time, and also has serbian origins too.
Ah I see! Thank you!
