The craziest thing is now its a massive setback for Chelsea, literally have to start all over again, getting use to the manger, how they play etc. Very poor decision
its funny how man u wont sack managers even when they are on downward trejectories.
and chelse wont keep managers even when their on upward trajectories.
I thought he "left by mutual consent" meaning he didn't want to stay? It's not being reported as though he was unceremoniously sacked.
Won't need to get used to mourhino
@@librarygary1618yes but the reason he wants to leave is because the club arnt giving him any power over transfers.
It seems to be literally "no poch, you can't have what you want, you either play the team we give you or there's the door"
I agree %100 Chelsea top bosses always making the wrong decisions
It’s the most ridiculous thing to do by hiring two sporting directors who know nothing about football.
Sanity went haywire.
just the fact that you have 2 different people doing the same job is insane. imagine having two head coaches trying to do different things on the field.
Remember these are the same sporting directors tht bought ciasedo Enzo cole (Poch didn’t want cole he thought we had enough winger) y’all need to judge Poch for what the team did all season and not the last 5 games and even if we won those games the last 2 games we was lucky not to get 1 point
@@chelseaseagles7770But there were also games that they were unlucky not to win. The team was improving, clearly. Winning 5 in a row means CONSISTENCY.
@@chelseaseagles7770 Chelsea had the youngest team in the league, arguably the most new signings along wit the most injuries in the league. At what point does your intelligence nudge you to take all of those things into account?
This is madness he was just getting the team playing good football and bringing through some class young players Wtf are the board thinking?
Pochettino was a brilliant coach up there with the best
They don’t think that’s the problem. We will always be a laughing stock under Clearlake.
The board same problem with man United
@@fredjames9867 its funny how man u wont sack managers even when they are on downward trejectories.
and chelse wont keep managers even when their on upward trajectories.
Thats the problem, they weren't thinking, this was a knee jerk reaction
Believe it, this is how TOXIC AND TOTALLY CLUELESS AND OUT OF THEIR THEIR DEPTH THESE OWNERS REALLY ARE.
As a Chelsea fan, yeah I've been unhappy for most of them beginning. We won more than we drew or lost, but we lost important games. But injuries contributed to that, as well as inexperience. Jackson and mudryk for example can't finish, but they've improved. Nkunku and Reece James, Enzo, Fofana, Chilwell, and so many more players out injured. We got most players back, and we started winning. I think it would've right for him to at least see out his contract, but I imagine Boehly has been playing FIFA career mode, and decided that we should've been competing for a quadruple this season, and probably next season too.
Palmer FC. Poch was terrible.
Those players returning from injury, what are you on about. James for a few minutes, Nkunku one game, Chilwell?
No mate, That team structure was forced due to Enzo out. Otherwise he'd play Gallagher in the 10 still, and the same structure and outside 6th for sure.
@@spizz8919 19 points and six places better than last season, but let's not let that get in the way of your super analysis. I think YOU should be the next manager.
Sack Bohely...this man means business not passion.
Sack this businessmen rather a football lover.
That's the nature of football these days unfortunately, happens at most clubs
You can be a good businessman and club owner no problem, doesn't have to be one or the other.
its not Bohely, he's just the face
Pretty sure it was Egbahli who wanted him out as Boehly was absent from this meeting. Boehly and Egbahli do not get along.
Na it’s not how things are…these Americans own franchises not clubs go back to the dodgers
Chelsea back to square one. What a farce.
I don't know who are more disillusioned the Man Utd fans or Chelsea fans who think they are entitled to top four finishes year in and year out. Ridiculous decision from Chelsea.
It’s not the fans. It’s the clubs. United fans are well aware. We have been screaming GLAZERS OUT since I was in middle school and CR7 still had braces
Chelsea like United are not a big team anymore, they are a mid table teams now.
No one thinks they’re entitled. But standards exist
People who live in the past and dont understand how football works
I am feeling sad for you, where did you hear that Chelsea fans wanted Poch out.
Eghbali and Feliciano are destroying the Club!!!
Think he did a good job. Took a completely new team and finished strong. Needed more time. Silly. A lot of mid players as well.
I would've let him finish his contract
I liked what arteta was doin at arsenal, despite him finishing 8th twice and now look at him ,,,
Unfortunately chelsea isnt as patient as arsenal owners are😂. They want a quick fix as though it's FIFA career mode @@bereal2366
A LOT of mid players
It’s really hard as a Chelsea fan just Idiotic Decisions they sacked Tuchel and now Pochettino we need a better board better medical staff better everything
LFC fan but i agree with you,Tuchel would have done a great job for you,i couldnt believe when they let him go
Just 12 days or so ago, Todd Boehly was praising the "beautiful football" from Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino (yes there's a video of this)! Incredible how things turn around, madness.
Reasons why Poch should have been kept:
- Good run at the end of the season
- Team is playing with Confidence and finally finishing chances
- Fans have been warming up to Poch
- Football played was good to watch
- Players believed in Poch, the posts spoke volumes
- Went from 12th to 6th and guaranteed some European football despite having the most injuries in the league
Reason why Poch should be sacked:
- Boehly's Ego
- Boehly wants us to be mid table team
- Boehly wants money, not titles
Ipswich manager being in contention to be the next manager is a joke, all respect to Mckenna and what he's done but he's only properly managed in the championship, we know Premier league is a different beast.
Please take Ipswich's manager.
I would enjoy both Chelsea and Ipswich having awful seasons next year 😅
Since 2015 , 10 managers thats crazy
Then this going to surpass the last 8 years,
In just 2yrs we will have 5 couchea
* coaches
This is insane💔
Spurs - hold my beer 😂😂
I am Chelsea fan and at times during the season I question many times whether Pochettino was the right man as one week we looked good and the next would be bad. There where times I would of been open for Pochettino to go but based on the way the team was playing towards the end it is just pure madness to have sacked him. It is so frustrating as finally when Chelsea started to actually show real understanding and togetherness on the pitch they let the manager go.
It is a huge opportunity and risk for any manager who takes the Chelsea job and I just hope its not De Zebri from Brighton as it would be a huge downgrade. The most realistic one in my opinion is Ruben Amorim but Sporting paid a big fee to Braga to get him as their manager and If Chelsea would have to do the same I don't think Chelsea would be up for doing that.
I'm not a Chelsea fan but this is a mistake. Chelsea were on fire for the last 10 games and palmer was easily the best player in the league in that period Wtf is the board thinking? There aren't many coaches better than him and there are none out of work who could do any better with the squad.
You don’t need a manager to be out of work to get one .. I am a Chelsea fan and have faith the owners will do what’s best and when we are winning you can all eat your words
Chelsea love hiring & firing from Brighton
@@kipp1231 lol. That is why you are not a Chelsea fan! Here at Chelsea, we are all about winning! You don't win trophies or take us to top 4, you get sacked! As simple as that! This is the right decision from Chelsea, 100%!!❤😊
@@scottwardle6056 exactly bro❤
Until when, this board ?...
Back in United, they are happy with 8th finish, "Eric Ten Hag and Manchester united are discussing contract extension", I think that's what they are doing now.
They had Potter he's a yes man and sacked him
thats indicates that they have no IDEA what they R doin ....
If potter was given time he wouldve turned things round, just like poch was starting to do. Im not a chelsea fan but their owner seems like a clueless non football buffoon.
They sacked Potter to please the toxic fans.
@@myztroogeegibson3568If that was the case they would have retained Poch to keep the majority of fans happy. Truth is the mgt do not care about the fans. Next season is going to be painful again.
They want a yes man, who also does well. Yes men don’t do well. Do you think Ferguson, Mourinho or Pep Guardiola would ever say yes like school children? No, because they have their own philosophy and their own minds… I agree with you and as a Chelsea fan this is very bad to say the least. We should protest at stamford bridge and stand up to these clowns
Spurs fan.. they don't deserve you mate.. good riddons
Man had a hard start to the season with soo many new players.. finished the season strong I'm sure next year they would have done well with Pochitinho
As a Hammers fan
Im disgusted with Chelsea.
He had just got his young players purring.
Very silly decision.
I bet they pannicked knpwing Amorim was avaliable.
I wouldnt put it past them.
He would be 6 managers in 3 seasons.
So far 5 in 2.
There is going to be massive pressure on the new coach if he is to get a top 4 finish next season. I could only imagine a manager with experience could do that. Also it is a huge risk Chelsea management are taking, if the new manager gets lower than top 6 next season they are going to confirm what everyone is thinking right now.
I hope there is no manager who wants to coach Chelsea. The owner gave a high task with players like this who lack experience, they should be thankful they are still in uel
Getting ready for another banter Chelsea season
Life goes on
It's all about selling anything they can to paper over the insane amounts of money they've wasted. I would guess Poch didn't want to sell some his best players. The plan is to now get an inexperienced coach to try and bed in an inexperienced young team, that they think should be in the top 4. Jokers....
I cant believe it im shocked😢😢
Potter silently accepted every stupid decision these yanks made, he was very much a YES man. Sacked.
we are devastated 😢😦😩
Pochettino was Levyed at Tottenham, He just didn’t want to be Boehlyed.
I will prefer thiago Silva to Ipswich coach either
As an arsenal fan, i respected chelsea for what they achieved , putting feelings, rivals, and banter aside from how they thrown on us, especially about the champions league. If we had a Ruthless owner like Roman, no doubt it wouldn't be an argument how successful we would have been. That man was elite and massive respect to him of what he takes your club from and beyond. However, this current owner seems clueless about what he's doing. Back when roman was in charge, there were top managers that had the win now mentality, which was on par with the owner, Bohley approach is different with kids, but dont want to go through the process of development . Take it from us. The road ahead will be rocky and steep. You can't take on this model and not expect the challenges. This was inevitable from the moment you decide to go this route.
Chelsea owners are clueless
This is bad News when Pochettino Has Unity with Team . Owner makes Strange decision
Impatience is not a virtue
6th when you’re going for top 4 in your first season really isn’t bad. Especially when you look at the teams above. 8th when you’re going for top 4…..well that’s different
“I’ve got an excited emoji” 😂 PUT IT AWAY 4:10
Good to see Paul has smartened himself up for this interview!
This just crazy after finally getting this young Chelsea team to buy into the POCH project , you let him go ? Wow this is crazy just crazy
I am not a Chelsea fan but i find it very strange they let Poch go. I didn't expect them to finish in the top 6 at the start of the season because of all the change in management with such a young team who are pulled in from different clubs but poch managed it. The team really started to gel into the way Poch wanted to play and it shows in the second half of the season. Now with the new manager coming in, they have to start all over again under the new play style and philosophy. What a waste of time and money from the owner.
Back to square 1 yayyyyy poch didn’t even do that bad tbh for his first season
Under all the pressure and scrutiny at the start he definitely got them going at end looked like they was finding thier identity again.
Got them a European place when it looked well out off their reach in February went on a mad run and scoring on average 2 goals a game.
Strange decision
One bloody season!!! Outrageous!! I hope they regret this big time!!!!
It's all about power and control. Poch wanted more control and the board said no, so they parted ways.
Tuchel also could not work with this board.
Chelsea need a yes man - that is why they will go for some younger coach like Kompany or McKenna.
Right up there with Hull City's decision to sack Liam Rosenior.
If, they don't find a good coach who can replace MP, then next season will be in deep trouble.
I wasn't a fan of Poch initially, but the more I looked at the reality of the situation, it made me appreciate the situation the players and Poch's team were in... And... honestly. I think the owners owed the process a shot. Maybe if, they revise their spending they wouldn't be frantic with their decision making. Caicedo has grown throughout the season, yes, but 116-mil is madness. (That move says a lot about their thinking). Well let's watch this drama unfold. If we lose Chalobah, ... smh... sigh.
He was doing a great job and needed more time.
People keep saying “finished the well/great” etc but it’s about the WHOLE season and his tactics subs selection going to five at the back when losing 0-5 ??/ saying Silva can’t play in back four then playing him in one ffs.
Judge him fairly but INCLUDE everything that he did ffs
poch what a manager! shocking decision
Pochettino's departure from Chelsea may pave the way for new opportunities, it also underscores the challenges and unfulfilled potential of his tenure. The lack of tangible success, combined with internal issues and strategic disruptions, paints a critical picture of his time at the club.
The Brentford and Ipswich managers to label them as yes men who would just be happy to be there is disrespectful linking them to that job is just ridiculous they are at better run clubs than Chelsea
What can you expect from Mr two and a half games... That board is clueless
It's not him it's Egbhali
Madness .
I got no love for Chelsea but still sacking Poch is such a rubbish decision! They found their way towards the end of the season and did really well. Beyond me why they think it's better to start from scratch again!
Good point about De Zerbi being volatile at times. McKenna or Maresca it is then 💀
WHAT DO THEY EVEN WANT ?
- Sacked Potter , the biggest Yes Man I've ever seen
- Sacked Tuchel - The opposite of a yes man
- Sacked Poch - A mini yes man
And the list they have to replace him is actually laughable LOL. How about sacking the medical team before the manager ? That would be interesting for a start . As a Chelsea fan i just wish, whoever they approach next start saying no, cos this isn't the place to come if you wanna develop your managerial career. it never has been but these lot might just be more erratic than Roman Abramovich, with Roman he's sack you and replace you with better. These lot have gone from Tuchel > Lampard > Potter > Pochettinho to now scouting managers from the Championship.
Also, can we all stop blaming Todd Boehly, this is Behdad Eghbali's decision, Todd owns 10% of the club much less than the 60% that Behdad Eghbali's group owns.
these lot actually annoy me, they shouldve just bought Man United like they wanted to do before Chelsea was sanctioned.
"cant believe hes gone" "paid tribute" hes not dead ffs
They're hinting to something
This may well be the stupidest thing Chelsea have done in a great long while. Yes, the Blues finished 6th and that's not what Chelsea or their fans think is adequate, and yes, the first half of the season was pretty dismal, but the form they were in at the end of the season was probably worthy of 4th place or higher. The general tendency to sack managers about every other season is, in my view, the single biggest bad thing about the EPL. I don't know what was happening in the meeting rooms with the owners of Chelsea, but sacking Poch now is stupid on steroids!
Who will tell this ownership that a big club shouldn't have to sell players for any reason. If you have to then you may as well be Brighton or Dortmund. You don't see Man City selling players they want and who want them.
You ain't a big club anymore, 42k ground get frigging real muppet

the owners want a Champions League spot, yet they are going for young and inexperienced coaches. They are insane.
It's time to change the owners than the coach or players
Just when I thought chelsea were going to make impact next season but then they’ve returned back to the gutter by sacking pochettino
The most surprise things is not Poch gettin sack! but seeing him get sack earlier than ETH is a surprise!
Ten hags not get sacked united have players that dont fight for the club and been unlucky with injuries, plus it will cost 10ml to sack him he got 3rd out of a broken united been broken for years

@paulorganisation1 The problem poch had was the full team was bought in one season, not had time to gel
@@user-ob7qg4jt6n Well those players came under Potter and Tuchel. They've been together for an entire season before Poch arrived at the club
@imo098765 I think he did. When poch was there, you have 10 new players to bed in the second year , and you should see improvement u would have kept him
Not only 5 consecutive wins, he lost 1 in his last 15 games, and thats against an inform Arsenal. Has to be one of the worst decisions in the history of the prem, shambles.
Pulls it together at the end...... and he's gone!
Its mad to think that the smart move from mckenna is to stay at Ipswich sod chelsea owner dont know arse from elbow
Sky Sports News, This is amazing! I can't stop smiling!
The return of Legendary Frank 😢😢😢
They should have given him more time
Arsenal fan here. BAFFLED!!!!!
Roman Abramovich used to sack managers more than anybody & it used to work for Chelsea am not sure whether it will still be the case
He won the last few games improved a lot
As always Chelsea doing the wrong thing when Pochetino was just getting traction
Hard to understand this one
Managers are NOT SUPPOSED to be ‘yes men.’ Otherwise, guess what? They can’t manage because they are being managed by someone else. The whole thing is a joke.
The owners at this football club are making big mistakes and I cannot see how they know anything about football at the highest level. You get a good manager and guess what? They know a lot about football and they know wonderful amounts about the game. And then you have the right to think that you, as owners, know better.
I am a Chelsea fan, and believe me now, this is a sad and hopeless situation. Sure, a manager can sometimes need help in who to recruit in terms of players but they should never be told and instructed like this. It makes it even worse that they want to sell Gallagher and Chalobah?? They are our youth, they are the players that have a very special connection to the club and you want to take that away from them. The fans had a huge banner of Gallagher in the stadium the other day. Because we love Gallagher and he puts in 110 percent on the pitch.
These are disgusting, money grabbing fools that have not and will not do well for our club. It will be a miserable few years because of who sits at the top of the hierarchy.
The right decision. Was warming to him but this is Chelsea. He is a Tottenham man too.
The problem is they want instant success within a year of appointmenting a new manager......come on every manager needs time to build a successful squad....Poch was starting to get them playing.
Brentford fan here.....Surely the players will be upset about the lack of ambition here. They are rolling with poch. Confidence good..great results then they do this. WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY UNDER THIS SYSTEM? LOOK FORWARD TO BATTLING NEXT SEASON.
Im sure they have a manager lined up ,they finished fourth from xmas so a great recovery from chelsea .
porch was way better than "ten hag" truth be told and if Manchester united keeps him after FA cup ill understand we gonna see the same style of play next season.
What a mess...Jesus !!! - but i do think Thomas Frank would be a super fit and caring of the players like Potch is/was - but that's just me.
We need to protest
This is total madness.
Chelsea mode 2 steps back 1 step forward. Unbelievable
Why going for average coaches to manage a bigger club, Todd is looking for who will always say yes yes to whatsoever he says and want not minding the damages he's doing to the club. The England fans needs to stand up against this madness 😮
Perhaps the players aren’t good enough for top 4.
March 2022, when it all changed…..
Todd Boehly just ready a Skoda Fabia but asked Mauricio Pochettino drive like a Ferrari. Nonsense & crazy. Mr B let's go to have body check as well his brain.
Oh well
A yes man, exactly right.
Big up the Chelsea board real winners! They listen to what the fans want
someone needs to come out with a compilation of all the times every single pundit in football has criticised Pochettino and called for his sacking during this season. now they're shocked. lmao.
Great News! We weren't going anywhere with Poch
Clo wn
w're gonna finish anywhere between 10th-12th again next season. If we had kept poch, we'd have finished 4th at the very least next season.
The most remarkable part is the notion that Manchester United are in a better position than Chelsea when they have a number of over 30 year old players on the wages that no other club would even consider paying them half of what they’re on. They are a billion pounds in debt and have the owners who have drained the club. Compared to the Chelsea team that is currently purchasing the most elite youth players in the world they have the youngest team in the league with a group of top quality players who can only get stronger. One team has improved dramatically in comparison to last season and the other has gone backwards in all areas of the game.
Lots of Chelsea fans are absolutely furious that these people have got rid of another manager just as he was improving the team !!!!!
Maybe the players should have shown up for most of the season
