Thanks Mike! This is the kind of videos I joined RUclips to watch. This past year I’ve gone astray watching videos about WH drama.
Don't go astray! Welcome back to watching Excel videos and having fun : )
Thank you for the VLOOKUP & MATCH duo :)
the match function is really great for Vlookup especially if we have more then a column to lookup. thank you Mr. Mike for your reminder

Great use of MATCH within VLOOKUP,! Excellent Mike!
Glad you like it, Chris! Thanks for your support : )
Thanks very helpful and useful
Fantastic; as usual. I would have liked if you had used the sentence "the result of match function is always a whole number and in the syntax of vlookup, the column index number we have to provide is also a whole number; hence they compliment each other". But never the less VERY VERY USEFUL VIDEO FOR WORKING PROFESSIONALS.
Very good explanation, I will definitely use this function once I'm all set.
Previous manager simply applied a 10% discount at each price break. It just seems off, but I'm so rusty that I'm unsure why they did that. I think I just need to revisit job cost accounting.
Thanks again for videos. I always learn a lot from them.
Awesome! Glad it helped - Two more to come with variations on this one.

Mike, I have a question. I have something that says. Use the VLOOKUP function to lookup the Quantity Discount Rate based on Quantity Ordered.... how should that look...???
What if I am trying to have it calculate a discount based on number of items ordered? So I have a total cost in J9 and i want it to figure up a discount amount based on the % I put in F 22-27?
Thanks!
Glad it helped! Thanks for your support : )
