Yup bin there Done That.
I'm amazed at all of the sea traffic!
Hello from Hamburg 🤗🤗
I hate getting kicked off the boat at the end of the cruise.....😜
This is good stuff, thanks!
Liked it. Keep up the work!
It's crazy how small this ships are. So weird to me since I've only worked on VLCCS. Looks peaceful and amazing. Also need some real skills. Smooth sailings
Thank you for the comment. The ship on which I recorded the timelapse is rather small - 199,97m in lenght and 30,61 in breadth. Very small in comparison to a VLCC. ;)
Noice
I would recommend you to set the exposure time of the camera that would produce some best footage as JeffHK
If you would had setup the camara in othe place because i see the piller of the ship in iin front of such cinimatic clip
Why i dont see milky way
Wow amazing video! How did you set up the camera and did it overheat at any point? I have to shoot a 30 days timelaps for a customer in 2.7k, 5minutes intervall with 3600 photos for a 4 minutes video. The storage for that are only 20GB, so is it possible to run the camera for 30 days, when using a cable to power it? Or does it shut down for overheating? Thank you for yout time! Regards, Lukas
Hi! I didn't have any problem with camera overheating and the weather outside was reaching over 40°C at some points. But it was also put inside a DIY enclosure covered with reflective tape. Camera was there for more than 100 days (the 100 day timelapse is also uploaded if you want to check it), with me only changing the microsd cards or cleaning the lens every few days. It was all the time connected to the power.
I'm thinking on using some sort of UPS Battery between power source and camera, did you do the same?
awesome work btw, and very usefull the
Time stamps! I assume you used Night Lapse function all the way
Thanks! I didn't use any UPS. I just put the camera in a water resistant self made box on top of the main mast. And from that box there was around 30m long extension cord connected to 230V.
I did use Night Lapse function, it's been taking photos since 100 days now. :)
Did you use the long time-lapse QR code?
Hello @fblk,
I'm looking to do something like this for a construction project. What were your settings?
Hi! Unfortunately after those 3 years I don't remember the settings anymore. Sorry that I can't help you with this one. :/
Assume you either changed Micro SD Cards or had 512Gb Card ?? What made you record for 30 days ?? Interesting. Good positioning of Cam.
Hi! I'm using 2 Micro Sd Cards - 64 & 128Gb. 64 lasts for 4,5 day and the 128 for almost 9 days.
What made me record for such a long time? My contract was extended due to covid-19 so it was something to keep me occupied. The camera is still rolling and shooting photos since 28.03.
@@fblk154 Noice - I just upgraded to GOPRO 8 and have a 256GB MicroSD so should be good for some Taimelapse movies
@@Accolades70 Definetely, make sure to have power source though.
@@fblk154 I fly Drones Mavic 2 Pro and they have an adaptor for USB so all good.
what is the age limit to work on a ship? if your aa female?
This is proof enough for me. We don’t live on a ball.
LOL Why? You can literally witness curvature yourself. This is as much proof of the shape pf the Earth as staring at the floor beneath your feet.
@@tims5268 I have amazing powers of observation. You have to figure it out for yourself.
@@RH-wg2gr I have, and I didn't make up my mind based on a youtube video (as you have openly admitted). I guess your standards for 'proof' are just woefully low.
@@tims5268 whatever. I don’t care what you believe.
@@RH-wg2gr It isn't about what I believe, it is about what basic geometry can prove. In the end, as usual, flat earthers are just too stupid to see the truth.
That's very flat looking land there
Much too fast timelapse
GoPro can‘t be used for pictures with low light and at night
Good idea, but the implementation could be done better with an other camera
Fajne, daje mocne 2/10
Overspeed, timelapse doesn't have to be this fast. This faster playback makes it impossible to watch for a long time.
