  • Life At Sea In The Merchant Marine Aboard A Cargo Ship
Over 90% of the world's trade is carried by sea.
A Cargo Ship in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean experiences some weather changes and developing seas over the course of two and a half hours. This is a great video to leave on in the background or to skip ahead to the various weather changes.
You could also pretend you are the AB on lookout on the port bridge wing and watch the entire video if you have 2.5 hours to kill...let me know if you have anything to report in the comments!
    #merchantmarine #ships #lifeatsea
Filmed using the GoPro Hero 8 Black.

Either the Moore McCormack or Delta lines during the 50's and 60's. My brother and I would spend hours watching this scene from the life boat deck. Rough days were the best!

I have had this dream since childhood who wanted to work in sailing. Unfortunately, I have color blindness. Thank you to your channel for helping me rekindle my childhood dreams. I watch every video of you, I like the 2.5 Hour Uncut View From Cargo Ship In 4K | Life At Sea video the most.
I appreciate and encourage you to keep creating videos forever.
P.S. I have a question like Does the cargo ship sail for twenty-four hours? Or will take a break at night

Sorry to hear of your situation. I’m glad my videos have rekindled your dreams though. We do sail the ships non stop 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The only time we stop is in port to do cargo operations and sometimes we anchor if our Berth isn’t available in port

it is great footage. It would be fantastic if you can do something about the wind crackling sounds.

Beautifully captured. Just hear the sound of waves, water and Air. Magneficient. I want to ask one question, the weather looks alright still the waves, the swell is there. Can u explain the reason?

The waves are caused by storms elsewhere and ripple out. Plus you cant really see the wind.

I do have one question - what speed is the ship moving as this footage is taken? Thank you again, it is marvellous footage.

I can’t remember specifically but probably around 17 or 18 knots
