Nicolas Cage takes...BIG...SWINGS 🤣 great way to describe it.
he said BIG SWiGS
I'm Italian and I don't get it: what does he mean with big swings?
Big swings...it’s a baseball reference. It means he’s swinging for the fences to hit a homerun every time. Sometimes it works, but more often than not ends as a quick out.
@@MrVisde exactly basically meaning whatever role he's going out for, and whatever way he puts his twist on it, you can bet it's gonna be way over the top, dramatic, eccentric, and SOMETIMES excellent. when he nails a role he sticks it. im thinking matchstick men.
I've seen Green Hornet once, a Green Hornet with Nicholas Cage I would've seen at least 1000 times by now
Agreed.
Yup... He makes every movie He’s in!!!!!!
I would watch a Green Hornet with Nicolas Cage as a white Jamaican villain a million times!!!
“My acting skills in general are up for debate.” ROFL!
😂😂😂
Nic Cage might be one of the few or only actors out there that might be crazier than the characters he plays (which is saying something). Stories people tell and he tells are wild
Christopher Walken
Nic was stunning in MOONSTRUCK opposite Cher. As was Cher.
Gary Busey
It’s not crazy. It’s desperate ego.
Jim Carey
Tarantino & Nicolas Cage teaming up is the one I'm waiting for
I recently heard Tarantino say Nic Cage was the best performance in all Coen brothers films
Got 1 more chance for that.
That would be fantastic!
@@vb8428 Turturro's performance in Miller's Crossing is not only the best performance in a Coen brothers film, but it's better than any performance in a Tarantino film.
This.
I would have been chomping at the bit to watch Nic Cage do a white Jamaican man. That must have been hilarious.
Jarjar binks comes to mind.
Gary Oldman in true romance did it first
Hilarious or sad.
@@vintageroller yup and did it well
The Rock, Con Air, and Face/Off is the holy trilogy of Nic Cage '90s movies. He's actually done plenty of excellent dramatic work, but those are my go-to films for him.
Con air is a great movie, Chappelle was in con air as well!!
Leaving Las Vegas was great!
You forgot the Jared Leto one, it was so epic.
Honeymoon in Vegas very ynderrated Cage comedy.
Carla was the prom queen.
Apparently nobody in this video has seen true romance. I'm just waiting for it and it never came it's like yeah dude that role was done like 30 years ago and it was done to perfection by Gary oldman
Epic role...can’t believe how few people have seen it
Seth actually does bring the Oldman character up briefly in the unedited interview 👍 that whole movie is great!!
I watched it a few years ago and was taken aback when I realised it was Oldman.
True Romance is so awesome and Gary Oldman was frighteningly good !
Why have so many people missed that movie?!
Stellar cast !
Classic movie, especially the "eggplant" scene between Walken and Hopper...
So nobody called cage on stealing Gary Olman’s character in true romance?
Yes! Exactly what I was thinking…
Sit down, grab yeself a egg roll...
I'm on Nicolas Cage's side on this one. Him playing a white Jamaican villain would have made The Green Hornet memorable.
Gary Oldman did it in True Romance in the 90’s…..
way more memorable than the bland villain they ended up with.
Cage was robbed on his idea for sure.
@@donle499 chudnofski wasn’t bland!
@@mr.disney4740 No he wasn't. James Franco's character is "loosely based" on the rapper Riff Raff. Harmony Korine, the movie's director/writer, has said as much. Riff Raff is actually in Spring Breakers too.
Nic Cage saying the alphabet is one of the best things ever. Whoever doesn’t know what I’m talking about should give it a gander.
It would help if you named the movie.
Vampires Kiss
These stories are priceless! 😂
He always has some story for someone.
The spring breakers accusation is killing me!
Absolutely!
Nicolas Cage is one of my favorite actors of all time but it comes as NO SURPRISE to me (or likely anyone) that he's batshit crazy in real life.
"I HAVE TO RETURN SOME VIDEO TAPES LOL
Here's why I'm enjoying Mr. Cage lately... In the past 3 or 4 years ALONE he has starred in many movies that other actors with his experience and length in the business would not participate in. Tons of crazy roles in horror movies and other things where he can go over the top and have some fun and experiment. For example, in 2019 he hammed it up in a quite enjoyable interpretation of The Color Out of Space. He was NOT phoning it in, lol! You're never gonna see Tom Hanks or Bruce Willis or any of those other Hollywood guys out there looking for creative B+ movies in niche genres to play around in.
Well, the fact that he had huge financial issues and started accepting everything that was offered to him played a huge part on it. The thing is that, because of this, he found his renaissance on that and kept doing it because he realized that was what people wanted to see from him... But wasn't exactly a choice, at least at first.
Robin genuinely hysterically laughing 😂
Nic Cage doesn't know who Riff Raff is...confirmed lol
99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the population don't know who Riff Raff is.
I instantly thought of riff when they was taking about this as well. Lol.
I love Cage's fearlessness
Listening to Seth Rogen tell stories is all the comedy I need. He's HILARIOUS!
Valley Girl, The Weather Man, and Honeymoon in Vegas are some of my Nic Cage favorites. This story was how I'd expect it to be. 👍👍
Don’t forget Moonstruck Nic Cage. He was amazing w Cher
The white Jamaican villain was already portrayed by Gary Oldman in True Romance 1993. Tarantino wrote the screenplay.
Nic also did a fantastic job with Joe Minion's script: "Vampire's Kiss." Was
hoping he and Joe would hook-up more frequently.
Nobody tells a story like seth. Lol. I laughed so hard this whole clip
Nick's jamaican character would have been perfect in Pineapple Express.
Casting Nic Cage in that flick would've given it a lot more substance and fun. He's an enthusiastic comic book fan and actor, and frankly if there was ever an instance to let him play an over the top white Jamaican villain, he would've fit fine in Green Hornet. They missed an opportunity to make a very mediocre film much more fun.
I agree
They where too concerned about being PC, shame.
Can we put tom cruise & nic cage in a movie?
Nic Cage would have improved green hornet
"Do we get the Seth from The Interview or Neighbors? Super Bad or Pineapple Express?.. The fool, or the fool?" =D
RAISING ARIZONA!
take a drink everytime seth says nicolas cage or nicolas cage's
I love Robin Quiver's hair. Seth is such a mood. Love all three of them. The world needs them.
Moonstuck. Perfect 👌
A truly great movie. 👍
"SNAP OUT OF IT!"
@@JMHoskins87 yesss!
Didn't Gary Oldman do that character back in the 90's
Yes True Romance 😭😭
With dreadlocks
Mandy is probably my favorite Nichols Cage
Top 3 Cages
-Raising Arizona
-Bad Lieutenant
-Birdy
But Mandy is great.
HIS MASTERPIECE 💯
Deadfall Nic Cage would like a word
It is up there with the weather man
Vampires Kiss Nick Cage is the best one bands down.
Castor troy nic cage is my favorite.
The Rock is his best movie to me
"He's a nice bunch of guys!" Zoot Sims on fellow jazz saxophonist, Stan Getz.
He is a real KING👑 and he can play any role he wants!! He is a real American treasure!!!💝
The end, “hes a hard guy to nail” haha
I might have to read this book
Hi. I’m Robin Quivers. ALL I EVER DO IS LAUGH. AT EVERYTHING & EVERYONE, no matter the reason.
she was hired to be Howard's laugh track.
Maybe Nick Cage saw True Romance then years later subconsciously thought the Gary Oldman character was his idea.
Love how Howard sneakily trying to impersonate Seth’s laugh
8mm, Red Rock West, are a couple of good ones.
Lest not forget angry driver. 😊
Drive Angry
Seth Rogan and David Lee Roth are two individuals that laugh at themselves more than any other
Funny you say that here because Robin Quivers tops them all. She laughs more than Beavis and Butthead combined, and at herself to boot.
Robin!!
Seth is most likely high and David is just a pure ego maniac.
Deffinetly need to get the audio book
Seth's book was awesome. The only thing that made it better was the audiobook. It's honestly one of my favorite books
This story is so great lol
I love Seth Rogans life stories. He’s not a good actor but a great story teller for sure.
He's a great actor. Watch 'Steve Jobs'.
Wrong. He IS a good actor.
he's a great actor, he's pretty versatile too..... not as typecasted as others
Nicholas Cage is legendary
Wild at Heart and Raising Arizona for me
Nic Cage is one of the greatest actors of all time.
To be honest, Green Hornet would probably been better with Nicholas Cage in it..
NIC CAGE IS TOP 10 ACTORS EVER 💯
yeah, he is dramatically underrated. especially his new stuff. really has a whole style to himself.
Ever seen Birdy? He's great in that. One of my favorite movies.
@@Tecumseh-rx5rn Great Movie!
Nick Cage and Riff Raff was mad at Franco for that Spring Breakers role.
Nick's a wild card.
_Nick Cage would think he created Riff Raff lol_
"Within 60 seconds..."
Nice
Nic Cage = Legend.
They forgot Valley Girl, nicolas cage best ever was his earliest
Nicolas Cage should look up who Riff Raff is
Remember that iconic 'Sicilian' scene in True Romance where Christopher Walken talks about the pantomime of liars? "Men have 17, women have 20... " etc. One of the seventeen is laughing constantly at your own stories. It's a tell.
Nic Cage looks down on these fools…he’s totally doing that for his own enjoyment…
Seth is Hallarious
THIS IS GOLD!!!!
I mean, Gary Oldman basically did this character first 30 years ago in True Romance
Great story
I would rather of paid to see Nic Cage doing that monologue then paying to see green hornet
Sounds like Nic Cage was ripping off Gary Oldman’s character from True Romance.
What a great story!
Steve Wozniak was in the Green Hornet? : )
Seth's feelings towards Nic Cage are a True Romance.
"I didn't know you could do that" seth wishing he left so many dinners
He wanted to play Superman, that's how crazy Nic is!
Robin and Howard looking damn fine 👌🔥
Hey now!!
Hey noww!
Hey nowww!
'The hornets, they're green, they're in my eyes, aaah, arghhhh...' 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
"I am afeared of no creature."
I think Nicholas Cage should call up Seth to his house... again...for another meeting...again....and walk off after 2 minutes....again...hahahaha. and keep repeating it every few years....again...
Honestly … their loss. Nic Cage as a Jamaican henchman would have made this movie ICONIC!! 😂
You know, that terrible Green Hornet would have been MUCH better with a Jamaican Nicolas Cage villian. So much fucking better.
Everyone was looking at me to react for the group but I wasn't gonna just EHEGHEGHE you know?
Stranger than fiction! 😂
Raising Arizona is the best Nick cage
Nicolas Cage obviously doesn’t know about Riff Raff.
Seth has great stories
My fav nic cage is the faceoff one👍👍👍
Nic Cage upset about someone stealing the character idea that he actually stole from Gary Oldman in True Romance. If this doesn’t epitomize the entertainment business l don’t know what does
If cage was in the movie I might have liked it.
He had to take a dump! 🤷♂️
Unlike most people, Seth actually lost weight during the whole covid circus.
Wasn't he a wacky mask, don't go outside person?
Talk about a lost opportunity sometimes things don’t happen because people can’t see the picture
Nicolas Cage + Seth Rogen would be a dream team!
He is So Funny!
I love nic cage. Raising arizona is one of my childhood favorites
Big Nicolas Cage fan grew up seeing a lot of his movies con air also gone in 60 minutes ya he is a lil corny but big fan funny because everything Seth said us probably 100 true hah
Fun fact, howard sterns mic is a $1000 mic 😁
